Prolog: Evil Dead 2 is not just only my absolute favorite movie but also the best sequel ever made, and yes it is a sequel. I always find it amusing how some people just don't understand that the first 7 minutes and 23 seconds are just a recap of the first film.

For legal reasons, they had to reshoot the recap and even with fewer actors because of the budget

Evil Dead 2 continues seamlessly at minute 7 and second 23 where The Evil Dead left off and even in the credits it says it's a sequel: "Evil Dead II", the sequel to the ultimate experience in grueling terror, was filmed in Wadesboro, North Carolina and Detroit, U. S. A." So the actual film begins where the first ends, namely when Ash is hit by the evil and through the forest flies.

In an interview, Bruce Campbell confirmed that the beginning is just a recap.

But now to the movie!

Why is Evil Dead II my favorite movie, and why do I think it's the best Movie and the best horror comedy movie ever?

I am now trying this and more to explain.

There's as much madness in this film as there is also creativity, so that one the film just gotta love. Here just one handful of things in the film happen: Fountains of blood coloring the cabin and people, fights against own hand, a headless dancing corpse, a deer head and various Objects Laugh, an eye from a demon will by a targeted kick from the Eye socket straight into the mouth of one person hurled and that wasn't all.

In short, a continuous firework of ideas, the viewer from second speak second, it really is unbelievable what all is in the film. The effects still have after 35 years nothing of the genius lost and still looks amazing, the ingenious stop-motion effects are just great. Also was score and lighting is concerned with this film nothing to fault and the brilliant Tracking shots are impressive.

Then there would be the awesome acting by Bruce Campbell, Sayings for eternity, but also all other actors were great. The film is just 84 minutes long, but feels much shorter simply because the film has such an awesome pacing, and no scene or dialogue is too long. At the end awaits you, Probably the best cliffhanger in film history.

Epilogue: I love the first part and for me it's also a masterpiece, but Evil Dead II creates with the perfect blend of Horror and comedy a film that has both is funny and scary and is simply the most entertaining film, that exists.

Oh yes, almost forgot: "Groovy".

Away is a calm, meditative and beautiful animated film with an impressive atmosphere.

Without even speaking 1 word, the film says so much and leaves a lot of scope for your own interpretations. In addition, there is the wonderful art style with super minimalistic animations that give the film a unique atmosphere. The score is just as grandiose as it is beautiful, and underlines the breathtaking pictures in a masterful way.

The amazing thing is that the Latvian director Gints Zilbalodus made the film completely by himself.

The unbelievable story, which makes you sad and angry in equal parts, was perfectly staged here. The sets are super authentic and the 90s were captured nicely. The make-up, which shows the decay of Sandrine, is depicted as realistically as possible.

Camera, editing, music and the acting are just great. And in my opinion, Luna Mwezi and Sarah Spale deliver the best acting performance so far in the entire history of Swiss film.

A strong and important film.

Wow.

One of these short films that moves to tears and warms the heart. Absolutely terrific what is brought out of 6 minutes here and the animations are also a feast for the eyes.

Great short film 8/10.

Joker is for me the best comic film ever made, a masterpiece and a movie that deserves more than just an Oscar nomination.

Joaquin Phoenix plays his role as a joker so well that you get goose bumps and just impressed, so fascinated and overwhelmed by his unique spectacle.

Camera, editing, music, backdrops ... everything is perfectly tuned for film and nothing is left to chance here. Here, people have thought and created one of the most intense film experiences.

A social critical, dramatic and terrifying film.

A masterpiece. 10/10

Very good movie because you should only look at Swiss German. Anyone who does not understand Swiss German will not be able to do anything with the film.

The absolute highlight for me is Leo Roos as Almgandhi. But the other actors were all very good too.

Entertaining Swiss film with a laugh guarantee.

This animation anthology series is simply incredible entertaining and very varied. An ingenious genre mix with many animation art styles.

Realistic prison movie!

Brutal, nasty, rousing and very realistic film about Billy Moore, who comes to Thailand for drug dealing in Thailand without Thai language skills.

Now Billy is experiencing a real nightmare, accompanied by constant fear for not experiencing next day. The film is usually only Thai spoken and rarely subtitled, so you can understand much better how lonely and alone Billy must feel.

Joe Cole plays his role fantastically and convincingly and director Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire succeeds in staging a dramatic and compelling story based on true events.

Very good movie.

Swiss horror comedy with a mediocre story but still entertaining.

The film also occasionally quotes horror movie classics.

In addition to acting quite passable, it makes a good and entertaining movie.

Very good found footage zombie movie that is exciting and terrifying and also has a good horror atmosphere. Even the jump scares are well-made and do not seem cheap.

The Blair Witch Project is a found-footage horror movie that shows a good horror atmosphere and not on cheap or bad jump-scares.

The Mermaid is excellent.

This movie is very funny and has a serious, exciting and entertaining story with interesting characters.

The mix of comedy drama fantasy and romantic goes perfectly together. Quote: "Just imagine, there would be no clean water and no fresh air on this earth. What sense is there then to have so much money?".

Perfect movie.
