This is a tough one. Not only to review, but also to watch. Never before have I seen a movie where the opponents are so obviously taking turns attacking. There are countless scenes in this movie where John Wick is fighting multiple opponents and every one except the one he is currently fighting is dancing around awkwardly in the background until its their turn to attack. It's infuriating. And it happens constantly throughout the movie.
Now, not everything about the action is bad. Some of the fight scenes are awesome, mostly the ones where he is fighting someone one on one.
The camera work, scenery, set design are all beautiful. Even the story of this installment is better than what we had previously. The movie also introduces a couple of fantastic new characters and the conclusion is quite satisfying.
All that to be completely underminded by the truly atrocious fight choreographies throughout the movie. They made this an absolute chore to watch at times.

How this show is rated lower than rebels is one of the great mysteries of the universe to me.
Like rebels, this show also has a few "filler" episodes, but unlike Rebels, the filler episodws were actually well done and have an interesting story that is mature, not stupid, and connects the dots in the greater Star Wars universe.
The main story is also wayyy better written than that of rebels. The characters have interesting personalities and are not so utterly one-dimensional. The underlying conflict and the aftermath of order 66 is an interesting time in this universe and through the eyes of these 5 (6) misfits we get to experience it for the first time. There is originality in this show, something which Rebels truly lacked.
I expected to hate this because I didn't like the Bad Batch episodes in clone wars, but it turned out to be a very good show.
And of course I can't fail to mention that the animation is superb. One of the roughest things about Rebels was the animation, which was really hard to watch at times, clearly targeted at young kids. This is great. Especially environmental shots are mindblowingly good looking.
Really looking forward to season 2.
