Death on the Nile
(2022)

Rewriting history...Badly
I thought the first film in this franchise was boring but gave this film a chance thinking that with the money thrown at it they will have learned by their previous mistakes, but sadly, that wasn't to be. An utter WOKE rewriting of a book, characters that Agatha Christie wouldn't want to be associated with, and who got no sympathy from the viewer, if every one of them had died in the first 5 minutes of the film I would have given it an extra star.

Agatha and the Midnight Murders
(2020)

Utter Dross
I seriously think that the release of this film should be regarded as a crime, I wonder how many people wasted 90 minutes of their life watching this utter dross.

Murder by Decree
(1979)

Conan-Doyle must be turning in his grave
I'd rather watch a spider crawl up my arm (and I hate spiders) than watch this garbage ever again. Some fine actors who all but left their talent at home, saving James Mason who carried the movie. The script was utter rubbish, the filming dire, and the best I can say for it is that it is not the worse film made in the late 70s, but it is probably up there in the top half dozen.

The Big Kahuna
(1999)

90 minutes of my life I will never get back.
Whoever made this film ought to be arrested, thrown in a deep dark hole, and never let out into society ever again.

My Life in Ruins
(2009)

What's not to like
For a romantic comedy it fits the bill, it has romance and it has comedy. Enjoyable characters and plenty happening throughout the film. Throw in a bit of Greek scenery and some Greek music and you have a very pleasant movie.

The Good Liar
(2019)

Went from an 8 to barely a 6 in the last 10 minutes.
I was really enjoying this movie and it was coming to a nice simple ending with a twist that although you could see it didn't matter, and then it was as if the director was told to to keep the audience in the cinema for a bit longer because something was happening outside.

Murder on the Orient Express
(2017)

Probably the worse film I have seen this decade
Probably the worse film I have seen this decade, the only thing that kept me awake was the snores of the other people in the cinema. One paced, wooden acting, no characters, no emotion, and a dreadful script. Agatha Christie was always a bad rip off of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but at least the written versions are readable, in this format the story became unwatchable.
