Whispering Smith
(1961)

Audie Murphy, hero and talented actor
If you are a fan of westerns or of anything featuring Audie Murphy then you will love watching any of these episodes.

While the series has some flaws, the stellar acting of Audie Murphy makes it well worth while.

His pleasant easy going manner and yet his quiet toughness make him a western hero unlike any other I ever saw on the screen. He is never over powering and, unlike John Wayne, was a hero in real life who served his country with great honour and distinction.

There are a few episodes available through different sites. take a look and you will not be disappointed.

Executive Action
(1973)

powerful movie - could it be true?
Could Prescott Bush have been the right wing politician? Certainly the movie plays a pivotal role in convincing even some of its stars - Donald Sutherland and Robert Ryan - that the plot line could have been very close to what did happen that fateful November when a President was gunned down under very mysterious circumstances. It also proves why one shooter had little chance of pulling it off, especially with the Italian Manlicher rifle, but "triangulated co- ordinated fire" could easily succeed. But, have you ever read the info sheet that came out with the movie? And how many witnesses dies within 3 years. And the enormous odds of that happening? Sais a great deal to me.

Camelot
(2011)

but for Arthur, magnificent
There are two shows about Arthur on TV at present. One has as much distance from the legend as if I were Arthur. The other, this version, lacks only a better actor in the role of Arthur. Everyone else is magnificent. Every other role has the right casting with the right actresses and actors playing their parts so very well. Claire Forlani as Queen Igraine is absolutely gorgeous.Eva Green as Morgana is perfect in her role. Peter Mooney, Clive Standen, indeed each and every one of the cast, except for Jamie Bower as Arthur, portrays their part with great style and credibility. And, yes, the amazing Mr Fiennes steals the show with his brilliance. He must receive an award or two for his talented rendition of the great Merlin.

Life

Bloody Brilliant
As an Australian, I say that this show is bloody brilliant, meaning that it is F A N T A S T I C

Quirky. Off beat. Intriguing. Thinking, And so very enjoyable. When does it come back for series 3 folks???

The character's portrayal is nothing like any other police drama/ cop show and for that reason alone it stands taller than its competition.

Will Charlie get back with his ex wife? Will his partner wake up and realise that her relationship with the Captain is her nightmare, or his dream?

Will his accountant catch up with his almost step mum?

And when will the whole truth come out, but not affecting Bobby as I like him
