Prisoners of the Ghostland
(2021)

Why Nicholas
This emphasises the issue that Cage has in selecting scripts that must have been written on toilet paper. This was just crap. Don't waste you time.

Natural Disasters
(2020)

Boooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrring
Sorry but it just went on and on. Like a lot of movies where you want someone to die just to make it interesting.

El guardián invisible
(2017)

OMG watching this was more painful than the deaths
This was garbage. Dubbed in English was the first annoying thing but the lack of consideration of what police may do is appalling. The lead yelss at the crime scene if anyone has found a purse and some cop yells yes and hands it to her saying "I found it a few metres over there" I could only stand 5 more minutes before I wanted to stab myself in the eyes for punishing myself for so long.

Horizon Line
(2020)

very watchable
I saw this and Shadow in the Clouds in the same week. This is by far the better movie. Its simple and enjoyable without too much BS.

The Howling
(2020)

Watch the original
As corny as the 1980 effects were, the original is awesome compared to this. Don't waste your time.

Shadow in the Cloud
(2020)

Acheived 2 standards
Boring and dumb. This rates as low as it possibly could in my opinion.

Sinfidelity
(2020)

Sometimes you really have to wonder how reviews are measured
This is only just, I emphasise, ONLY JUST, worth your time. Its soft and bland, a little like my wifes cooking.

Midway
(2019)

Only worth 2 for CGI
I wanted Best to be killed withing 5 minutes. Sorry but the cast were mostly innefectual and the plot was lost although based on facts, mostly far removed.

Us
(2019)

Waste of time
35 Minutes of average "horror" then 1 hour and 21 minutes of thinking "how the hell do we wind this up". The plot disappears as does the audience interest.. I went out for a pee and a drink and asked my wife what is had missed. 2 guys behind me said "nothing" and they started the same conversation I have written above. Don't waste you money. Spend it on something worthwhile.

A Star Is Born
(2018)

Not worthy of any awards.
Lady GaGa should have watched the 1937 and 1954 versions to understand that she is not an actress and should have had a lot more respect for the role she played. Pathetic trite boring.

The Vanishing
(2018)

I enjoyed this immensely
It was a slowish movie, however, it was one of the movies where my wife and I discussed the "what would you do" situation throughout. The great advantage of watching at home is being able to discuss in the flat areas of the plot. Well acted and well structured. Worth seeing when compared to much of the crap thrown at us last year.

Les frères Sisters
(2018)

Booooring
Watched this with the wife last night. I fell asleep about 40 minute mark. Only positive remark I could possible make is the scenery was pretty impressive. I know people discuss paint drying etc but I actually did a load of washing, loaded the dishwasher, made a cuppa and didn't seem to miss anything interesting. Don't waste your precious time.

Bad Times at the El Royale
(2018)

Scattergun approach to a good story
My wife is a Hemsworth slut, as are so many women I know so of course we couldn't miss this, especially when he is virtually shirtless for most of his appearance. My wife and I liked the movie, its structure and how it manipulated the viewers "aha" moments that linked its pieces. I won't spoil anything but 2 things to mention:- 1 . noone played a bad part 2 . Hemsworth must have watched Val Kilmer playing Jim Morrison sooooo many times.

Widows
(2018)

Not bad.......not great
Having never seen the mini series, my wife and I saw the movie last evening. Its reasonably well acted and full of action, however it wasted a lot of time and left soooooo many gaps in the storyline. The put too much into the plot and then couldn't fill the gaps that I feel maybe ended up on the cutting room floor. OK to see but too many lose ends.

Furlough
(2018)

Forget life for a while
My wife and I saw this with low ratings so watched it without great expectation. I really enjoyed the movie. Not a thinking movie, more like get on board and enjoy the ride.

Songbird
(2018)

Just a dumb movie
So hard to relate and therefore unable to say I actually enjoyed the movie. 2 minutes in I thought what the heck go and have a beer and a steak and enjoy the evening, but no I last the 95 minutes. Damn

Annihilation
(2018)

God aweful
Another movie3 where you hope whatever it is kills the lead actors soon because they are soooooooo bad.

Remember Me
(2016)

The cast must have written the reviews
This film is poorly acted and painfully slow.and is not funny at all. I was hoping a heart attack would put me out of my misery. So good my wife fell asleep so i let her doze, why should she suffer with me.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer
(2017)

Too long to watch this shit
FMD I sat and watched this with my wife for 2 hours, both of us saying that it must improve or at least something would jump out at us. Unfortunately it starts as shit, continues as shit and falls into a pile of shit. This deserves an award for being the bigest sponge of peoples good time. No one actor even gave me a glimpse of star skills or quality acting. Don't waste your time, if you have time to kill, watch paint dry. One thing that did give me a glimmer of positive is that outside the cinema everyone had the same impression that neither Colin Farrell nor Nicole Kidman have any skills and are puppets of the publicity machine.

6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain
(2017)

Crap and crappier
OMG whomever funded this movie wasted their money. This was pianful at its best. Josh Hartnet gets reviewed for his acting?!?! but i spent the entire movie barracking for Nature to take him oput and make it painful.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
(2017)

Awesome cast balance
Rarely do you get a film where the entire cast balance each other to improve the overall appreciation. This was one of those rare films. The topic is raw and the language even mor raw but is is worth the effort to sit through the entire 2 hours. On par with Big Sick for watchability and relateable storyline.

The Dinner
(2017)

Hated the movie, loved the book.
The book asks you to consider the blatant confrontation of a power that few have, but those that do abuse blatantly, not unlike the current US Presidential family. the movie tested one's ethics and went off into tangents of ranting and raving, losing the audience to the point where people were talking others back to the point throughout. I also felt it was aggressive against mental illness and displayed a coarse lack of emotional consideration of those who actually have the illness, so to water that down they give the wife cancer. Big deal

Bob Saget: That's What I'm Talkin' About
(2013)

Kill me now
This is woeful. Saget bored the crap out of me in Full House and then FHV now he thinks he is comedic. Whomever wrote the first review must be Saget or his mother. The guy is boring and witless. Retire, become a drunk and ask for money from GoFundMe because you have no skills whatsoever

The Fate of the Furious
(2017)

For idiot 17 year olds
How many more of this series must we endure. You would have expected that as the series went on, the acting would improve and at some point a story line may have been developed, but no. This is garbage at it worse. Diesel and his crowd are neither young nor entertaining yet is sat in a cinema full of teens who then proceeded to "fukyeah" at every scene. Scariest yet is as we left, most drove like the idiots in the movies.

Before All Others
(2016)

boring
Another God does things to test us movie. FMD how can people in today's crap society still get inspiration out of this sort of garbage. Over acted, over portrayed as the goodness of a mythical being. I wanted to burn a bible after watching this dribble. Avoid this crap unless of course you are in the bible belt and brain washed
