Criminal Minds
(2005)

criminal minds
to start possible spoiler, for season just finished on uk TV.Jeanne Tripplehorn leaves at the end and the producers don't no yet if they will replace her or not.Or just keep the team as it is .my idea why don't they recruit some one who is a pathologist, someone who has been around for years. that way they have there own person to do autopsies etc.like Jane Curtain in unforgettable.instead of a young actor have someone with lots of experience a proper character actor or actress.I think Martin Landau played a criminal pathologist in one detective drama cant remember the name.but he was a joy to watch it would bring a depth to the show.My own vote would go to john Billingsley the doc of enterprise.as a possibility.what does anyone else think.Perhaps uks very own Simon Callow,or Ian Mcneice

You Rang, M'Lord?
(1988)

you rang my lord
you rang my lord is perfect in all ways.excellent acting by all perfectly cast, and above all excellent writing.its a pity we don't get more comedies like this.i was never a fan of hi Di hi but loved oh doctor beaching another gem.i would love to see the same cast in another comedy.they are far superior to anything on TV at present.it seems comedies today are rude and offensive and offer very little quality.in writing, acting, and production.you rang my lord would be good as a film with same cast, perhaps updating the story.the likes of Paul Shane, and sue Pollard are not seen enough these days.true masters of there craft.i always like it when responding to Mr twelve trees about keeping ones place,Alf stokes always replies the toffs upstairs are no different to us they've just got more money.enough said soon as mended.

Public Eye
(1965)

series public eye - Alfred Burke
I've just watched a couple of series of public eye starring the excellent and underrated Alfred Burke.its the story of frank marker a detective struggling threw life trying to make aliving.who often ends up loosing out.excellent stories, and a power house performance from its lead.it also includes various actors who are now house hold names when they were starting out.for example David suchet,James bolam to name a couple.a series which deserves another look.sadly neglected by many stations,i believe UK gold sometimes shows a few.it also reflects the time it was set how people lived, very little money with no luxurious.this is TV at its best.
