What was THAT??? I miss the show that kept me on the edge of my seat, or left me hanging at the end of an episode. This made me feel like I just wasted an hour of my life. Sequence after sequence of discombobulated nonsense. They wasted at least half of the episode morphing between flashes of unrecognizable images with annoying music and no resolution at the end of it all. Too many skips between time frames and concepts to even remotely follow what they were trying to convey. No need to watch after this episode cuz there's no story left to be excited about. Bummer, I LOVED season 1, season 2 has been nothing but a disappointment and this was the worst episode yet.
That was just bizarre and goofy, I don't think I liked it. I'm all about the goofiness of the show, but this was too much, what the F was actually going on? I assumed about halfway through we were going to find out Beard was on a bad mushroom trip, but no; it just ended abruptly like nothing ever happened. There was too quick of a glance at a LONG text thread that was supposed to be meaningful or dramatic. There was hula hooping, pool sharking, hallucinating, stalking TV commentators, alley fights, jealous boyfriends, weird seamstress hookers, church night clubs, labyrinth chases and garbage diving. Oh yea, and super cute sparkly pants.
What in the name of A thirteen-year-old boy's junior high film project did I just watch?? The premise of this is the farthest thing from a new movie concept that needed to be made. Plus, bad acting, horrible music and novice effects. I can't believe I kept watching, hoping something would click and make it worth it. Never happened.
Not only was the acting bad, what was up with the beautiful home in the Hollywood Hills with really bad bedroom wallpaper and 1970s furniture? Did I miss the relevance of that?
The scene in the kitchen with the burgers and dancing was cringy and just plain embarrassing.
