Loved this movie.
First, if you're going to do horror, you make it over the top and insane because that is exactly what horror is supposed to be. Was Freddy normal? Was Hellraiser rooted in reality? Of course not. This movie goes from 0 to 90 miles per hour in five minutes and stays that way the whole time. How this movie isn't appreciated more, I have no idea. This is what fans of horror want.
I'm not going to give away any of the details or storyline. There is gore splatter from start to finish. It has Lovecraftian overtones and ominous hints of other-worldy beings controlling our universe. It is relentless and unapologetic...what more could you ask for?
