I didn't think this would be good. I admit it, and I was wrong. So far it's true to Canon without injecting certain "Hollywood requirements" and going off course. I hope the show runner stays on track and doesn't disappoint like so many other pre/sequels (and we all know who those others are...ahem, Kennedy).
The actors of the main characters do justice to the originals without coming off as cheesy or impressionists. They bring their own style while still being convincing. Also love that original Dex is narrating. It keeps you connected and reminded of the original classic.
Definitely worth watching. I hope for many seasons.

Without spoilers. This film is a waste of time. There's no explanation why the guy follows her instead of going to the pier/boat. He's just "there" clinging to her like a child for no reason. No backstory on him except for 2 underwhelming details that add nothing to his character development. 5 minutes in and it's all about getting this romanticised slice of pizza at all costs. Really? Illness, poetry, piano, pizza. Only the cat was great and the only character you're actually rooting for. Zero tension. Nothing like, and I mean NOthing like Part 1 and 2. Huge hit and miss, ruined the franchise.
This isn't some high-brow, academic look into Hugh Everett and MWT. If that's what you're looking for, watch a Max Tegmark MIT lecture or read Mathematical Universe about the physics of actual parallel worlds. If you just want to kick back and enjoy some interesting, real world stories that make you reflect on your own life, this documentary is it. It's grounded in the work of Everett and Bostrum, so it's not "fluff," but a welcome break to approach parallel worlds in a more creative way. About halfway through they weave in a story from a person calling in from jail, I assume serving life. I won't ruin it, but that part was interesting as well. A good watch.
