The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
(2010)

Bottom of the series
The camera work sometimes makes this seem more like a non fantasy action film rather than a just fantasy. Camera work does not at all seem like a narnia film. I mean this one was was produced by fox and not Disney I think so... story was good. I'd rather see a cgi centaur rather than a man wearing a body suit. Would probably be less unsettling. Felt more like watching what i think would be an Indiana jones movies but with talking animals rather than a Narnia movie. Still impressive to look at of course.

Beautiful Portrayal of Growth
No right choice can be made without a little sacrifice. This movie, although felt like a YA novel in the beginning, quickly grew into a series of lessons and perspectives. The ending was and wasn't a surprise to me because I felt it was absolutely felicitous. Everyone had a story made of choices in the past that affected and shaped their lives as well as the lives of others. But at the end of the day it isn't the choice you made yesterday that matters. It is what you do now and that point forward that counts the most. I think the main character substantiated that beautifully.

Visually emotive. But nothing magical about the story if we're being honest.

Good Idea, Bad Plot... And script... And Movie
So strange. Such an interesting conception turned into another lackluster movie with an ending and plot that lacks proper mathematics. It didn't add up to me. I guess I loved the message. That the religious can be the very one to run from. But, uh, it just was such a weird movie.

A Film That Evokes Visceral Emotions
It is so good. It was a cinematic masterpiece with a much needed cultural weight so significant the images alone can move you. The movie is a poignant combination of prime cinematography and story that authentically represents the history of a people with a sprinkle of impact. This movie that acts as a cinematic cultural luminary has hopefully set the standard for other films with a story about an unvalued society and the traditions that surround it. In other words, it was so beautiful, I cried.
