  • BHC 1&2 were my childhood. Had them both on VHS and watched them over and over. I was very excited to hear about this reboot as all the key original players were involved. I was skeptical though as I normally loath Netflix original movies and can rarely choke one down. Right from the start it did not disappoint. Chemistry was good, jokes were solid and not forced or overdone, and most important of all - Eddie was Eddie!

Plot was solid and the action and jokes flowed nicely with plenty of nostalgia sprinkled in. Eddie was definitely back in Axel form and gave me some good unexpected laughs. Tough to compare to the originals but I will say it's definitely better than BHC 3 (sorry Wonder World!)

If you're reading this you're probably thinking about watching it - you should! It's better than 99.9% of the 'original' streaming garbage that passes for movies today - it would have fared very well at the box office. Thank you Eddie for all the amazing laughs over the years. If you can make more like this then please keep em' coming!
  • Great to see Borat back in action, unfortunately the movie is notably worse than the original (is anyone really surprised?!). Still around a 7/10 and definitely Worth watching for those few classic Borat moments (not to mention the lack of any decent new content for months!), but overall it definitely could/should have been better. Not even as funny as Bruno but still had a few good laughs and better still, the nostalgia of when Borat ruled the world!!! I've been a fan since his original HBO show and I'm glad to see Borat still spreading his Hrum everywhere! Go in with lowish expectations and enjoy!!!
  • If you are a true rap fan, you won't regret watching this. Solid documentary with classic footage to bring you back to that special couple years when Ruff Ryders were straight killing it!!! I've watched a lot of 'behind the scenes' rap shows and docs and this is right up there - would have been even better if they just focused on the start and peak - first episodes better than the last couple, but then again, so was the music!!! Throw on Ruff Ryders Anthem for 10 seconds and fire up this doc!!

Many thanks to DMX, The LOX, and Swizz for all the amazing music and memories I continue to enjoy, much love
  • Wow, what an overrated piece of garbage this movie is. If, like so many others, you have terrible taste and think a few pretty shots make up for complete lack of script, action or anything resembling entertainment, then this movie is for you. If you were able to sit through Dunkirk somehow and didn't regret it for some reason, this movie is for you. But, if like me, you actually have excellent taste in cinema and demand more than just a few cinematic pictures to make an enjoyable film, avoid this movie at all costs. Just soooo boring. I mean how they made it so bad is a mystery to me and how some people actually enjoyed it is an even greater mystery. This movie is complete garbage, save your time!
  • I really like the first one (esp the first 2/3, not the ending so much), so I was interested to see they made a sequel. Ehh, maybe they shouldn't have! My 5/10 is erring on the generous side.

This movie took a different direction than the first and contained some cool new plot elements, but overall it was pretty poorly done, predictable, not scary, etc etc. It would have probably made more sense as a prequel but wouldn't have mattered much either way with this movie. Unless you really loved the first one and have 80 minutes to burn, I would sit this one out!
  • If you like horror/thrillers, which I do and have seen too many to count, you should give this movie a shot. Above average for the genre and fairly original/creative compared the usual predictable movies churned out. Without any spoilers I would describe it as a 2nd rate "The Thing" except set on a boat/ocean. I only say 2nd rate because The Thing is one of the best horror/thrillers ever made and remains an absolute classic must watch. While this movie is entertaining and fast moving, it's not mind blowing or best of breed so go in with proper expectations and don't get too excited - enjoy!!
  • I have to disagree with most ratings, this is a decent movie for the genre and definitely an enjoyable watch. No, it's not a horror masterpiece, but it's also not a 4-5 movie. Could have been better but acting, script, and plot were all passable. I personally liked the Archeology aspect - kinda like half horror half Indiana Jones. The mythology stuff wasn't mind blowing or perfect but was good enough to keep me into this fast moving film. Also not nearly as scary as classics like The Conjuring but had me tingling a couple times. Overall, if you like this Genre, go in with low expectations and give this movie a shot, I hope/think it just may surprise you!
  • T2 has been a top 25 all-time movie since it was released, and it remains near the top to this day. This movie reset the bar for special effects and solidified the Terminator franchise which still continues. Arnold is on his A game and movie is well written, acted, directed, filmed, etc from start to finish. This is the first movie I saw multiple times in the theater. I was 10 years old and I saw it 3 times (whether or not it's appropriate for a 10yr old is another convo ha). From the first minute it blew my mind and time hasn't detracted from it. For anyone who enjoys movies this is an absolute must watch. Why are you still reading this???? Go find T-2 and put it on immediately!!!
  • Ok, so it's not Jaws, and it's not even Jaws 2, but it is a decent movie. The whole 3-D aspect was a stupid idea but watching these days it's mostly a non factor. Compared to 1&2 this movie is trash, but compared with the average garbage in the theaters then and now it's a passable film anchored by solid performance from Quaid. Hardly a must see but not the 3/4 that others have rated it.
  • Excellent movie that stands the test of time and is likely even more relevant today than when it was made. Not exactly a feel good flick but if you're in the mood for a little depressing drama, this movie will not disappoint. Excellent characters, script, and acting. Matt Dillion crushes this role and a young Heather Graham is icing on the cake. Really a well done film across the board, definitely worth seeing
  • This movie isn't winning any Oscars, but if you're a fan of the genre, you should enjoy this movie. 3 main characters were well written / acted. Nothing mind blowing but solid all the way through with enough kinks and character reveals to keep you interested. Not at the top of the list for this genre but refreshingly original and definitely worth a watch.
  • Wow, this is an AWFUL movie. I actually give the producers credit - it takes special talent to put together such an amazing cast with a big budget, and still produce an unwatchable piece of garbage!!!! Oceans 11 is a solid movie and enjoyable watch, and 13 isn't bad either, but man oh man 12 is bad! Without spoiling anything the Julia Roberts role in this movie/script has to be the highlight of just how stupid the plot/script is for this "movie." It's too late for me but if you're lucky enough not to have seen this yet, save yourself and run far away!!!!!
  • Please please save 2 hours of your life and NEVER watch this overrated piece of garbage. I like Nolan as much as the next guy but this movie lacked everything!!! Terrible script, overly focused on boring mini stories involving basic characters with little to no appeal. By 60 min in I was rooting for the bad guys haha!!! This is easily one of the most overhyped movies of the decade. Do yourself a favor and watch basically any other war movie ever made, or just go ahead and watch some paint dry on the wall - either way it will be more exciting and captivating than this film!!!!
  • One of the best action/mystery/thriller/comedy/drama series ever created. Loved it when I was a kid in the 80's and amazingly it holds up as good as ever today. Better than 99% of the current junk of TV, Netflix, and wherever else. Episodes like mini movies, very easy to get sucked in with solid scripts, acting, sets, and a nice stream of guess appearances. Never too late to watch for the first time!
