Streets of Fire
(1984)

Great classic movie
An old favorite that I've watched many times, and will always love this movie. The casting, the scenery, the story and music all come together to make a timeless classic.

Wind River
(2017)

Great movie
A straight forward crime drama, that draws attention to a terrible reality. This issue has been long overlooked by the public, as well as law enforcement. Unfortunately these tragedies will continue to plague these communities. The question is,will anything ever been done to try and prevent this.

Kodachrome
(2017)

Great movie
You pretty much know how the story will go, but, I believe it was worth the journey. If you are not into this type of movie, I would not recommend it.

Wynonna Earp
(2016)

Good show
A lot of mixed reviews, I really enjoyed the show, but, would not say it is the greatest, or most original, just plain fun.

Reasonable Doubt
(2017)

Great show
I really enjoy this show, you get to see that investigators do not always get it right. There are clearly times when the system fails.

Hell Riders
(1984)

Not a good film
If you are bored and have an hour and a half to kill, you could do worse, but, you would really have to try. It's good for a couple of laughs, but overall, it's pretty generic.

Dangerous Men
(2005)

Cult classic?
Spoiler alert : this movie is horrendous. If you are a connoisseur of bad movies, then you have found gold. John S. Rad made this as an apparent homage to himself. Jump-style editing, a script that somehow keeps getting lost and then rewritten throughout the movie. Finally, the climax, Stan Lee chases down Dog the bountyhunter, while he's fighting with a blind woman over a gun, freeze frame, roll credits.

Xiu chun dao
(2014)

Great movie
Well acted, scripted and directed, there's nothing to not like about this film.

Battle Creek Brawl
(1980)

Great movie
A great movie can be watched many times over, this is one of those. From the homages to Buster, to the fun of Mako's character and the whimsy of other caricature-like characters, leads to a enjoyable viewing experience.

Vigilante Diaries
(2016)

Not enjoyable
The good: Madsen, Russo, Trejo and White shine despite questionable dialogue. Rampage and Chavo show more potential than most of the other secondary players. Most of the women made the scenery look better. The bad: Mews comes off like Jay without Silent Bob. The lead actor is completely out starred. The ugly: Barry, the comic relief, falls flat. I don't mind stories that are told out of sequence, however, the editing on this film is horrendous.

The Long Kiss Goodnight
(1996)

Great movie
If you see movie pop up, and just have to watch it, because it's been awhile, it's a great movie. I don't understand the naysayers in the reviews, if you don't find this genre appealing, why would you watch?

.45
(2006)

Good movie
After a somewhat slow and quirky start, this film picks up and takes off. If you're looking for a masterpiece, this is not it, but if you're looking for an entertaining movie you could do a lot worse.

The Bag Man
(2014)

Good movie
Overall I enjoyed this movie, I feel like the obvious weak link is the female lead. Definitely not the greatest movie ever made, but, enjoyable.

Killshot
(2008)

Not perfect, but enjoyable
Elmore Leonard writes such great material it's very hard not to enjoy it. Direction could have been better, great performances from the cast.

Shao Lin tong zi gong
(1983)

Great movie
Great fights throughout, any viewer looking for excellent choreography, this is a must see.

Conan the Barbarian
(1982)

Great movie
The movie for Conan fans, we need more of these films!

The Villain
(1979)

Great movie
Yes, it's silly, but, I love it as much now as I did when I was a child.

Daredevil
(2003)

Great movie
I have heard people bash this movie for years, I,personally, have always enjoyed it. I think it respects the source material, and holds up over time.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
(2014)

Great movie
The final chapter fulfilled all of my expectations, I was greatly impressed with the efforts of all involved with the production.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
(2013)

Great movie
The second movie of this trilogy picks up right where the first leaves off, and has the viewer anticipating the final film.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
(2012)

Great movie
Well done, and a good introduction to this series.

Hellboy
(2019)

Great movie
At first I was skeptical about a need for a reboot, I really enjoyed the original movies. Once you give this a watch it changes your mind, I see no reason for anyone who is fan, not being appreciative of each take.

Qi er da xia
(1978)

Excellent movie
This film is an excellent example of the kung fu genre.

Jeongmumun
(1977)

Lackluster
Too many obvious missed punches and kicks destroys the credibility of the choreography. Apparently one guy is able to kill opponents at a distance, but, only does so one time. Overall this film is tedious and uninteresting, I can not recommend.

Dian tang lang
(1980)

Great movie
This movie starts with a comic outlook leading into a buddy theme, and ends with insanity and horror at the end. Fans of this genre will love, others will not get it.
