Confused storylines with no spirit in them As i did read 2 of the books of the author (& didn't like them too but thought the World he had created has a very good potential) I was looking forward to this series. It was a very big disappointment, only saw 2 episodes where they've presented several story lines that aren't connected and happened in different times (the training of Yennefer which happens way before as she'll become Gerald's lover, the fall of Corinth which happened many years ago, the meeting with the bard {why the hell we even need to listen to his annoying songs???} which is also happened before & is a really non important side story) and the current timeline with Gerald killing monsters, then deciding against killing people for the lesser evil but when he wakes up after making out with the girl he rushes back to the market to kill her with no explanation provided.
But the worst part is that the world they've created doesn't hold a good spirit of Fantasy world, it''s not too sinister, or dark, or oppressing, it's just a confused array of characters running around with no porpoise in a World that isn't coherent
Oh and lets not forget how they made the beautiful Elves into slightly ugly humans with elephant ears, I hope i'll be able to not see in the future how they portrayed the dwarfs
