Poketto monsutâ: The Legend of XYZ!
(2016)
Episode 48, Season 19

Pokemon's last great season
Pokémon XYZ was highly anticipated by the fandom. With the first episode, I had really high hopes. Although the XY arc isn't the best, XYZ proved me wrong. However, this is when the season starts to fail. You see, Pokémon has way more episodes than The Simpsons, (which premiered in 1989, Pokémon premiered in 1997), so some episodes may get stale. This includes filler episodes, which I've always despised. I was relieved when they removed Pokémon Contests, which were just a waste of time. But when they decided to bring them back as Showcases, I was furious. Another major flaw is that Ash finally got to the finals of the Pokémon league, only for his Greninja to lose against a Charizard. And mind you, his Greninja took down a Sceptile and could stand Thunder Punches. Greninja clearly had the upper hand with his giant shuriken, but Charizard tanked him. This was when the series started to go downhill. And after Team Flare was defeated, Ash decided to release his Greninja. That was the final nail in the coffin. So, Pokémon XYZ was good, until the writers decided to troll the fandom.

Wander Over Yonder
(2013)

Oh, when you Wander, over Yonder!
Wander Over Yonder is one of the greatest cartoons of this decade. It is colorful, energetic, and overall, amazing. There are 5 characters throughout the series. Wander, the main character of the series is a wandering nomad who befriends people all over the Galaxy, alongside Sylvia, his steed and best friend. However, Lord Hater is trying to conquer planets Wander is visiting. Alongside Commander Peepers, Hater's right hand man, they try to capture Wander. However, there is a threat that not even Wander can befriend (SPOILERS), Lord Dominator. Lord Dominator destroys planets instead of conquering them in an armored form, and is actually a woman. As she is very powerful and evil, Wander cannot befriend her. Overall, I give Wander over Yonder an 8/10. The series should've continued, but was canceled when many where getting interested in it because of Dominator. It is a must watch, in my opinion.

Steven Universe
(2013)

And Steven!
Steven Universe is one of the most bombastic cartoons of the 21st century. It is everything modern animation needed. Not only is it for children, but it can explain some serious and even taboo subjects. LGBT themes, abusive relationships, acceptance of a loved one'a death, and more, all handled in an artistic way. The pastel colors, relatable characters, and the songs that nearly exceed Disney levels. Steven Universe is unique, colorful, dark, artistic, powerful, and everything in between. Cartoon Network is really killing it nowadays, with Regular Show and Adventure Time, but none of those even scratch the surface of what Steven Universe did for modern animation.

Wander Over Yonder: The End of the Galaxy
(2016)
Episode 22, Season 2

#SaveWOY
Well guys, Wander over Yonder is officially over. No more Wander, no more Lord Hater, that's it. In this episode, Lord Dominator has successfully taken over the Galaxy. On the secret planet, Sylvia and Wander hide, with almost everyone they've met. The refugees decide to fight, but Wander decides to befriend Dominator. Meanwhile, on the ship, Wander is suddenly attacked by Dominator, after changing her mind about destroying him. Dominator finds out about the secret planet, and decides to invade. With Wander's lower body stuck in ice, Dominator almost kills Sylvia, until Lord Hater shows up. Lord Hater nearly destroys her warship, until Dominator disencourages him. Sylvia smashes a Dombot projecting her, reinforcing Hater to fight back. He successfully destroys the ship, with Dominator and Wander still inside. The ship blows up, and it is revealed that Wander and Dominator were safe. Wander finally gets around to befriending Dominator, but she rejects him at the last second. Then, Wander's adventures continue. I was really excited for this episode, but I was disappointed with the ending. What they decided to do with Dominator really made me mad, but the ending made me even more aggrevated. If we could've gotten season 3, I would give this episode a 9.

Gravity Falls: Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls
(2016)
Episode 20, Season 2

A fantastic way to end a fantastic show.
Weirdmageddon 3 is the pinnacle of Disney's TV animation department. Not only is it frantic, action packed, but it is GF's best episode. It has so much intrigue, tear jerking moments, and Alex's signature style of comedy. For the final battle against Bill Cipher, you have to watch the entire series, and uncover the secrets. I recommend you watch it not once, but twice to understand the biggest secret of all. Although Gravity Falls is over, watch the series again and again!

Wander Over Yonder: My Fair Hatey
(2016)
Episode 15, Season 2

You're the Greatest, Craig!
The Wander team really outdid themselves! In this Mary Poppins esque musical episode, Lord Hater tries to date Dominator. This episode has 7 different songs, 6 of them are very nice, albeit forgettable, but the one that stands out is Lord Dominator's villain song, I'm the Bad Guy. This song is literally the reason many people started to get interested in Wander over Yonder. So, yeah, we should thank Dominator for introducing many people to this show. I give this episode 9 out of 10, as it is the BEST episode of the series by far.

Gravity Falls
(2012)

Disney is back at it again!
Gravity Falls follows the summer of 12 year olds Dipper and Mabel as they visit the aptly titled Gravity Falls. However, strange phenomena has been occurring here, such as living dinosaurs, and miniature golf ball creatures. After a work shift at the Mystery Shack, Dipper finds a mysterious journal documenting the town's strange secrets. Along with some friends such as Soos, Wendy, and Grunkle Stan, the twins discover some of the town's most mysterious secrets, including one only Dipper and Mabel can solve, but it will put them in great danger. Gravity Falls gets a 9/10 for solid animation, an all star voice cast (Alex Hirsch, Linda Cardellini, Jason Ritter, Kristen Schaal, Keith Ferguson, etc.) Gravity Falls is a show many can enjoy.
