The Outer Limits: Last Supper
(1997)
Episode 4, Season 3

A interesting story that ends completely in "wait, wha-?"
So, we learn from this episode that old man Frank is expecting his son and his girlfriend to visit. Danny shows up with a girlfriend that looks exactly like someone he knew in the past. The young woman named Jade is very Very in love with his son Danny. Strange that that coincidence happened. Out of everyone in the world... Anyway Jade is somehow the freak accident of a plague that wiped out her village, but strangely, made her unable to age... interesting.

Then we skipped the middle and Jade is being experimented on by the Army, in a very "not secure and downright dangerous" place. O-okay.

Frank saves her, they do the thing in the sheets for who knows how long and they mysteriously go their separate ways... wait what?

This is where the episode goes completely off the rails and we find that evil scientist survived, tracked Jade down and decided, in his brilliant mind, to overdose on her ageless blood and he turns into primordial puddle... what?! So just because this lady's DNA mixed with his, he turns into a puddle?!

Did anyone tell these writers: You know DNA is in saliva and other body fluids rights? According to this movie, she should be untouchable. But I guess conveniently, her DNA only has two settings: none and instant death... very convenient for the plot... but yeah, it sacrificed an interesting story for shock value. At least they got their money's worth, this episode is the most memorable...

This is an amazing achievement for AI writing movies...
In the last 10 years we have seen some great evolution of AI writing movies. From AI just making unreadable mix of words to this movie.

It's an amazing technical achievement.

I know that AI wrote this movie because there is no way a human being could write anything like this...

It will only take another 30 years before AI can actually work something even entertaining as movies in the the 1920s.

This movie is a great comedy though, it is hilarious how many times Millie Bobbie Brown can pull a Stranger Thrings frown and try to act intimidating.

Now, I am not a actor, but I know that Millie Bobbie Brown is actually a great person and a good actor. She should stay away from these kinds of movies that will only turn her into a one note type cast actor. Her agency is riding her to the bank like every other young up and coming actress in Hollywood today who are quickly fading into obscurity because their agency keep casting them in these AI written movies.

Show you have more versatility Millie Bobbie Brown and play a couple of dramas, a comedy, a horror movie, thriller. Stop turning your carrier into an staircase... .

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: Ndovu's Last Journey
(1996)
Episode 5, Season 1

This episode would never air today... or in the 2000s
This episode is so simple that there was no way they could screw it up... (sees episode) okay... maybe.

So the episode is as basic as it comes except I can't shake up this feeling that it's preaching about endangered species and how white people are ruining the world. In the first 5 minutes, we are introduced to this very affluent English speaking Shaman who sees it as his mission to tell the scientist about prophecy: white people came out of the sea with green veins and catlike eyes(not like we are related homie) bring sticks that make fire (as opposed to Arabs who brought canons and gunpowder) and will bring "great hunger" (as opposed to: "they will fix smallpox, forced enslavement and lift millions out of poverty and hunger) but let's go with that, activists gonna activist.

Also the episode implies that there are many "angry white men". There are only 2 poachers and 4 and half white Quest men in the whole episode. Strange, where are these : "(many) angry white men"?

Oh well, let's forget that... what I find it funny is that they have a "Quest Rover" for this trip in the Saffary and who is fixing it? Race Bannon! The brilliant engineer who built... wait... why is it called a "Quest Rover"? Did Race sell his intellectual rights to Benton?!

Nah, actually Benton was supposed to have engineered this car... but Race needs something to do this episode since he can take out soldiers and mercenaries with his eyes closed but two flabby poachers with guns?! Nope... Race wasn't allowed to have a gun this episode... in Africa... on a Safari... with wild animals... unsupervised...

I also find find it funny how the shenanigans with the poachers, the unreliable boarder patrol and the kids...

Whatever the case... this episode feels both like a Johnny Quest and yet very Captain Planet-y.

The visuals are great though. The lightning and the contrast between the yellow and Jessie's red hair are also pretty brilliant...

As for the story... eh... good... not great.

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: In the Realm of the Condor
(1996)
Episode 3, Season 1

This episode is the sad reality of why the show started with a left and never recovered...
First of all, I need to say that this episode is THE BEST looking episode in the entire series. It really blew the budget or created new expectations for the style and all the hard work of the animators. 10 out of 10 for the animators!

Sadly the Achilles heel of this show is the writing team who were either prevented from writing more adult themed stories or had no idea what to write. Take this episode for example, it is the first for 7 animal savior themed episodes in a season of 20 episodes, only 2 of which have a supernatural element to it. You have: The condor, the whales, the elephant, the tiger, the dolphins, the yeti, the werewolf. I am sorry, but it makes the Johnny Quest world seem very full of uninteresting human characters. While the original show had great villains almost every episode.

That wouldn't be such a bad thing if the villains were written better. Take Estella for example, she seems like a interesting greedy villain inspired by Jade. I love that she STRINGS the Quest team along with that fake story but real artifact?! Where did she get that if her "grandpa" never came back and he was... a bird researcher!? Did he do some tomb raiding on the side?

Next, he has the dumbest reveal in the whole season. Literally like a child being distracted by ice cream, she leaves safety and start to minecraft a giant piece of gold in front of everyone!! Her plan?! Well she had no plan, she was just a really bad tomb raider.

If in the first episode, we didn't even meet the villains or understand why they dressed up like a Scooby-Doo themed story, this one writes a compelling villain before dropping her out-of the sky like a condor did this episode.

Do you want to know how to fix her?! Make one of the helpers/guides the son of a diserter of the village who didn't know how to get there but had the stolen artefact. Have him follow them and call for a helicopter full of mercenaries ready to invade the city.

These kinds of sloppy writing is a precursor for the next ones... sadly. Thank God for the voice actors who did an amazing job.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution
(2024)

A big improvement on Revelations but why do these writers hate the Universe?
So I watched this season with negative expectations, I was waiting for the hammer to drop any time. I was intrigued to see that it did not.

I would say that they improved the character writing for" Randor, Duncan(man-at-arms) Teela, He-Man, Adam even Skeletor.

The story was mostly pretty good. The one thing that keeps falling head first in the mud is the writing which is so full of contrivance and convenience.

1) Randor dies and some guy just showed up without any evidence and says: "hey, I can be your king. And he just pulls some technology that he doesn't explain. And he gets the job, just like that..." Adam? Not gonna talk to your mum or Teela about this? Not even your life long confidant Duncan?!

2) Skeletor giving the technovirus to Andra, the beautiful, strong, empowered, brilliant, flawless genius who somehow does nothing with it but give it to the people... why not study it? Find a way to reverse it?

3) Adam can't be a warrior King. What exactly does Adam being king add to the throne? Is he even trained for that? Why not have a counciler to the king while he is away? A "hand of the king"? A "attendant? A "Stewart of king"? A "council of representatives"? A "prime Minister"? A "vizier"? Or just simply: "Queen take the throne while I save the world. Duncan you want a day as king? Does anyone want to be king for a day?!"

4) introducing democracy to a monarchy that doesn't even have a University or council or mayor's, chieftains, or anything. Basically inserting modern politics into a fantasy Universe of swords and magic. Have these writers ever thought that a magician could just cast a spell that turned all the votes or mind controlled the people?! This very season, they were mindcontroled and joined Hordak! At least start with a civil council or a house of representatives before you skip to "el presidente".

All in all I want to ask the writers: "Why do you hate this fantasy Universe?" You could write anything and you have to go and write about politics?! You choose the single topic that has no escapist value because that is all you know how to write?! Then. Just. Leave it. Leave it for fans or writers who are specialists of swords and magic stories to write it!

The Beekeeper
(2024)

A a good popcorn flick to enjoy the evening.
This movie starts like a John Wick movie and ends like Jason Statham movie.

It has a lot of cool fight scenes and I have to say I like Jason Statham in this movie because the director isn't trying to make a complicated story.

In fact I would say that the director subverts almost every John Wick-ism it can stumble on. And anyone who is a fan of John Wick can have a good laugh about it.

I have to praise the casting for this movie. Everyone and I mean everyone does their jobs great.

Everyone from Jason Statham to Jeremy Irons is so good but with a script too small that it has to speed through the story. For example, early in the movie you will meet a character played by British actor David Witts, he didn't play a very important role but his performance impressed me enough to look him up. (I couldn't even tell he was British). Great actor, with a great face, born in the wrong time.

It honestly feels like the weakest part about the movie was the script. But at least it's very tight and quick, not like the 3 hour special theatrical releases these days. I can at least respect that. You can watch this movie and not need to check your phone for the time every 15 minutes.

All in all. It's a great Jason Statham popcorn action movie. Just maybe don't watch it with friends that have some strong political opinions...

Monsutâzu Ippaku Sanjô Hiryû Jigoku
(2024)

Oda's first creation and treat for all of One Piece and Zoro fans...
When you think of the prequels, the first thoughts you think about is Star Wars the prequels.

While this isn't exactly a prequel because it was created first, the fact that it is added to One Piece makes it a prequel.

That being said, you can't ignore that there are clear and obvious flaws. First of all let's admit that the setting is most clearly in a town that looks much more inspired from old Westers movies rather than a town in the Edo period inspired Wano. (You can't really convince me that something as usefull as pants somehow faded out of style for robes or tables and chairs for low tables and mats or glasses for tiny saucers). This is the criticism of the original work though. But the animators had creative license to change that if Oda allowed them to.

But even that isn't the reason why I gave it an 8. The reason is: the pacing. Look, I love Zoro and Nami as much as anyone but I had to skip through 5 minutes of the episode because it basically repeated itself. The short is ONLY 25 minutes long, you don't have to keep reminding me of things.

And the climax, it ends as quick as leaving the room for a glass of water. They could have stretched out the fight instead of the dialogue. (I know that the oneshot was like this too, but they had creative liscence with this to improve on the original even slightly)

All in all, it is a great piece of lore for Zoro fans and Ryuma fans. It's just a shame that we didn't get to see more of what Ryuma is known for: "being the greatest swordsman of his century."

Falling Down
(1993)

"When did I become the bad guy?" Asked the Middle Class. Perfect critique of abusive hyper Capitalism.
This movie I had seen in my teens in the 2000s and I honestly did not understand much of it. All I had seen was a angry man that was being angry.

Fast forward to my 30s and I see this movie as an amazing critique about rampaging capitalism and decaying society where hard working man is abused and broken down to the new form of rampaging capitalism that puts more love and attention to GDP numbers on a piece of paper instead of humans and society.

Bill grew up being told that loyalty is the best thing you can do for your country and in return you will get the rewards of family, good living and prosperity. Fast forward to his waning years and he is divorced and has a restraining order (even though he was never described as "physically abusive", but instead the judge wanted to "make an example of him"), living with his mother in the house his father built/owned, he is replaced in his job by a machine and can't find another job because in his words he is: "over-educated but not skilled enough", and his age is probably not helping.

He is constantly hit from every side with social degradation: street gangs and homeless people bullying him for being too clean and looking privileged (maybe rich) despite the fact that his wallet and briefcase are almost empty.

Hyper-inflation made his savings and earnings worthless.

Food restaurants sell you lies and give you sloppy seconds and no one calls them out for it.

He walks into a golf course and finds that while the middle class struggle in scorching traffic jams and roadblocks to their destination, rich old men own acres and acres of land that could be used by the middle class to improve their living, as a giant golf course.

He walks into a giant mansion with gardens owned by plastic surgeons who's only contribution to society is doing cosmetic surgery for the rich upper class. You basically see where the new "valuable American" in this new abusive hyper Capitalism.

One thing that I don't like is the ending, although the ending you can see it as a parody or caricature.

The movie ends with turning the blame of all the evils of the world on people from the middle class like Bill who see the degradation and sends detective Pete like a antibody white blood cell to destroy the outlier of society, justifying it by staking him with crimes that he did not commit ("You were going to kill your family and yourself").

The movie tells you what to feel for Bill and asks you to ignore everything you have seen.

At the ending of the movie, does anything change? Nope. Absolutely nothing. Bill is just any every day man that could become discontent with society.

The funny thing is that THIS simplification of Bill is very realistic in our decaying society. Every critic of society is labeled an extremist because they don't go through the right channels to critique it. An elitist critiquing society is seen as : "brave, educated and a speaker of truth". Someone from the middle class making a critique of society is seen as: "extremist, violent and dangerous".

This movie was made in 1991 and everything it predicted is as real today as it was then.

Total Drama Island: Reboot
(2023)

A serviceable, lazy copy of the original
I seriously want to ask the producers, writers and directors of this series: "did you know what you were making a series dor a streaming service or did you think you were making a cable series?" Because tbe only series that i think represents the gold standard for an animated series made for a streaming service is "Archer". The series that made it to over 10 seasons.

The original TDI is closer to "Archer" than this series. Characters get pretty good arcs, we get some mature jokes and themes, characters actually shows some skin and variety to clothes or curves.

I look at TDI 2023 and I am thinking: did you know that were made for a streaming service or the Disney Channel?

If just feels like the unnecessarily made this series lazily instead if taking advantage of the streaming service and making a more R rated version or something.

Ralph Breaks the Internet
(2018)

The rozeta stone of Disney movies descent into bankruptcy...
I have seen this movie only once the year it came out and wow, it was so bad. I didn't even realize how bad it was. I only saw it once and never again.

Flashforward to 2023 and every Disney movie is a flop, every idea is boring and no one seems to understand when it started.

THIS movie is where it all started and we can see clear and unabashed ideas that would grow and become the Disney standard of bankrupt movies.

Back then we were still riding on a Disney high and people could ignore them because "it was only one movie." Flashforward to 2023 and every movie is some version of "Ralph breaks the internet".

This movie should be studied in writing schools next to "The Last Jedi" about how you should NEVER WRITE animated movie.

If you want to see how Disney started their nosedive into the age of making flop movies, this is the Rozeta Stone.

Here is a list of tropes that appear in this movie that have appeared in every Disney movie after it in some way: 1) Write convoluted stories that have nothing to do with the original.

2) Write about subjects that the writing team have no idea how it works. Their understanding of the Internet is horrible.

3) Disrespect and insult the main character to the point of character assassination;

4) Denegrate and insult a character (usually but always a male) to prop up another character so that they looks smarter, capable and independent.

5) Bait and Switch: using the title of a fairly recognizable character and then completely sideline the character for another character to lead the story.

6) Ignore the origin story of characters to make your story work. (So in the first movie we had the concept of "going Turbo". In this game Vanellope does the exact same thing but it's fine because her name isn't Turbo I guess).

7) Insult and denigrate the giants who's shoulders you are standing on. (The Disney princesses scenes! Omg, I am glad that Disney is finally paying for that with their wallets) RIP Disney princess movies!

8) Ignore your critics. They don't know what they want or they don't know what is right. (Ralph is encouraged to ignore the comments and criticism to his own videos) wow... this was befor the last Jedi, this was before calling your critics bots or trolls. If you ignore the people who care about your product long enough then apathy takes over and it doesn't matter what you do, you are not going to get them back.

There are more but these toxic ideas should NEVER be used in movies. Ever. THIS movie is where they were all on display and they only learned to hide it after this movie.

RoboCop
(2014)

Robocop for dumb people...
So I had not seen this movie when it came out. Now I have and wow is it dumb. This movie is the Robocop funkopop version of Robocop.

Gary Oldman and the guy who plays Robocop are doing their best to make this movie work. And they almost make you ignore how boring it gets.

To all would-be scriptwriter and producers in Hollywood, if you EVER watched a Verhoven movie then you should know that his movies aren't REALISTIC. That means that Politics and corporate babble is just as boring in movies as in real life! So don't put boring politics in an escapist movie! It makes it very boring!

And the second thing I want to point out: you have such a great ingredients from the Robocop movie like the original theme! Why isn't that theme played in the climax of the movie or the credits!? What was that generic royalty free music in the credits?

Last thing and this is the most annoying thing, this movie is dumb. It's made for simple people who need to be spoonfed the story instead of writing something interesting. At one point, Murphy is being controlled by this movie's version of Derective 4 which makes no sense honestly. Murphy was going to arrest the bad guy not kill him! But anyway, Robocop is being forced by this Directive 4 maguffin to not aim at a bad guy. How does Murphy overcome this problem? Does he throw a grenade to trip him up? No. Does he ricochet the bullets to trick the system? No. Does he stick his fingers in an outlet to override his program? Nope. He. Just. Wills it. Really hard! No intelligent inspiration in this movie to solve a problem.

So why did I give it a 6? Well the actors are good, the action scenes are descent, most of them at least. 3 quarters of the movie is actually good. It just splats in the ground like a meteor because it has no idea how to end this movie. And the politics, Pg-13 and lack of intelligent thought or ideas drag this movie down.

If you want to see a real a real Robocop experience then buy the Robocop game from 2023. I sure wish the people who made that game would have been in charge of this movie.

The Founder
(2016)

Micheal Keaton's best performance.
The movie represents Capitalism, the American dream and American Scourge.

The dream is how 3 people can create an amazing succesful concept with their own hands.

And the horrible disgusting corporate lifestyle. The brothers were in the right but because the corporate monsters that can throw sacks of money at their problems to solve everything. The true corporate monster that represents and builds America back then, today and tomorrow.

That being said, the movie is very good and the story while morally ambiguous, it does show how a ambition can make the difference between a man.who builds a house and a man who builds an empire.

If there is two things you should get from this movie is: the MacDonald Brothers integrity and Ray Crok's ambition.

The corporate cronies in the world, all I can say is that they are slowly phased out. And thank God for that.

Star Trek: Lower Decks: The Inner Fight
(2023)
Episode 9, Season 4

You flew too close to the sun, Mike.
So this season has been full of inconsistencies and honestly it feels like Paramount is trying to starve this series.

Because if Mike had at least enough good writers left, someone would have told him: "Ugh, Mike. You are retconning a tragic character and stepping over their tragic stories with your cartoon."

If anyone knows or seen Lower Decks is based on they would at least try to respect the characters and lore as it was in the original STNG "Lower Decks". Lower Decks cartoon on the other hand, comes in and starts drawing with crayons over the Star Trek Lore Bible.

Basically we learn that Mariner has a connection to the original Lower Decks characters. Not only was this never mentioned before in Lower Decks but the original series dismissed that Mariner even existed! Mike comes in and pulls a Sybock or Micheal Burnham on Mariner like she was behind the camera or under the table during that episode and sucks out all the drama from those episodes/tragedy.

What I found to be more sad is that this whole continuity mess with Mariner could have been easily avoided by just focusing on Mariner's own friend Ramsey instead of retconing Mariner behind the camera of the original Lower Decks.

Star Trek: Generations
(1994)

A precursor to Picard seasons 1 and 2. Why didn't they learn anything?
I honestly can't believe how lazy the writing, production and vision of this movie was.

Everything on this movie rests on the actors and nostalgia.

The writers of this movie are like: "Yes, we do love everything about Star Wars. Now let's just make a movie like that." Seriously! All they had to do was put lightsabers in this movie and we have a Star Wars movie!

I seriously don't understand if this movie was an Ego trip for Patrick Stewart or William Shatner but Leonard Nemoy came out as the smartest actor by not being involved at all.

How do you start an bottomless spiral of Star Trek fanbase dismantling? With a movie that disrespects the giant that holds it up.

Totally Spies! Le Film
(2009)

A lackluster, low effort attempt at a movie or origin story...
This movie is one of the most boring attempts at making an origin story. Starting from the fact that the movie is so fast and leaves no room for people to think all the way to the magic science machines that make no sense in a origin story. (This movie did the lazy Magic Marvel technology before Marvel did. It should have been shown to writers and producers about how NOT to do technology).

If you were going to make an origin story, they should have watched season 1 and made it according to that technology or that atmosphere or origin story.

Let me explain: in season 1 during the episode of the Totally Spies clones we had cyborg guy and he supposedly had an untold origin story that we never see. What if THAT guy was the main antagonist of this movie, we could have seen that the writers of this movie actually loved the franchise and the story as much as the fans and decided to tie that loose end.

Instead, this movie might as well been a reboot movie.

What were they thinking when they added a pig as a animal mascot in this movie?! In Hollywood Girls?! A PIG?! Have you ever heard of dogs?! Those are things everyone in Hollywood have. A Pig?!

Such a waste of a movie. This franchise deserved better.

Les mondes engloutis
(1985)

One of the best science fiction animated series you will find
This series can't be put into words.

The world building is so amazing that you basically can't. The story could only be described as "A Journey to The Center of the World" and "The Odyssey".

And this series was very much ahead of its time, what it explores in the 80s we explore today.

It had a lot of influences too. In the show we see Stanley Kubrick's Monolith.

The show explores ideas of industrialism, natural disasters, isolationism, classism, science gone too far, religion gone too far, and so on. It pretty much did everything.

I am honestly disappointed that this show did not get the respect and praise it deserved.

Netflix should get on this series and make a remake or remastered version.

Magnum, P.I.: Blood and Honor
(1985)
Episode 9, Season 6

Still a better show than the reboot but wow, the writing seems to be getting weaker...
I really like that this show dealt with a bit more genres and we see Magnum back in the Navi dealing with what could have been his debute in Espionage movies.

But this episode was just too rushed or maybe too simple or didn't make a lot of sense at all.

It rushed through most if not most of the plot points and we never get a good story other than: "I don't know... the script said so."

There was a guy right in the middle of the story that had some mild role. I was honestly expecting them to be the spy but someone in the writing room must have brought out the PC handbook and said: "it would look bad if we did that."

I am honestly not upset about the whole episode. Just the ending, the ending was weak to me.

Magnum P.I.
(2018)

This show is like if CSI was made by Joss Whedon...
I binged the first 4,5 episodes of the first season and I was honestly bothered. If I described the show to you, you would say it was Magnum P. I. If I let you watch the series, you would be like: what is this?

Let's start with the fact that every character is dulled down to less layered version of their characters.

Maybe I just haven't given this show enough ink to write its characters yet, BUT I am excused from blame by the simple fact that the very first 4 episode tries to be so freaking serious. Like: here is the characters, take them very seriously because look they been through some bad stuff.

Another very annoying thing is that they introduce this character that would have made a good contribution. Yet he gets exited and we only see him in flashbacks like we needed a more detailed explanation for why vets would move to paradise instead of returning to boring useless lives.

This show just feels like it's filling gaps that didn't need to be filled and dulling sharp edges that didn't need to.

Cobra
(1986)

Watching this movie just to enjoy Stallone chew up the screen...
This movie is perfect 80s movies with just the enough star power to not be a B movie.

Stallone is having the time of his life in this movie making his debut as an action movie star. We see him pulling the most Commando role I can remember.

The movie is basically about the most incompetent police force that I have ever seen and if Rambo joined it.

Everything is kind of a cliche but this was the 80s. Arnold played these kinds of roles too, their agents must have been fighting over it.

This movie might not be the smartest but it looks darn good and it nailed the exact period where it could work. I mean Arnold did Eraser 10 years which is almost a copy of this movie just more over the top and this movie despite being less action heavy, it is somehow a little better.

Stallone looks so good in this role. This is his peak in appearance. And the first of his movies where he plays a good cop that doesn't do anything by the book.

This movie would not be able to be made today in America, maybe in some foreign countries. So enjoy this piece of 80s action movie. No one died, no one got hurt (too badly, I hope) just enjoy it for what it was during a time where every problem couldn't be fixed with a smartphone.

Telemarketers
(2023)

A eye-opening documentary about a scam industry...
First of all PJP is a fantastic charming guy. He was dealt a bad hand but he made the best of it! He is so charming and passionate. Doing documentaries, being a spokesman is something that he has talent in, he is just lacking that upper-class training that most elite get.

Sam and Pat did a great freelance documentary! This is what real freelance journalism is, this is probably the best that it can be. And I was so exited to see you guys do your work.

The investigation was very interesting and I could feel it piecing together. It is one of those situations where you kind of need to be much more awareness to the public. It is in their interest to avoid giving them the donations.

In poorer countries we have something similar on much smaller scale: the begger scheme, where people give money to beggers thinking that they are helping a poor homeless person. In reality most of them are like a network that travel city to city and collect money for some kind of mafia boss. It is basically the same type of crime.

Anyway, I hope you guys made some money from this. I hope PJP and Sam might work on something more. Maybe I don't know, start a YT channel and review stuff they know and love.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
(1982)

One of the most entertaining musicals that predicted the future...
I have heard about this novie for a while but this is the first time I have seen it, now in 2023.

And it is a really great movie that predicted the future of televised mob justice, corruption and the end of the era of the hero with a badge.

Burt Reynolds pulls one of the most entertaining performances and Dolly is the most charming actress playing a Southern strong woman.

I honestly didn't expect it to also be a musical but it pulls it off very well. All the songs are entertaining and they tell a story of their own.

I am glad I saw this movie in 2023, and it was made in 1982... Basically the middle point between movies about a house full of "working girls" and a movie about a house full of "pleasure bots".

Close Enough: Men Rock!/Secret Horse
(2021)
Episode 8, Season 2

This episode is a feminist's fantasy... put into a cartoon
I know that this cartoon is supposed to be a comedy, a unrealistic satirical joke about characters and people. But even through all the dumb jokes there has to be a core of sincerity: like family values.

This was the first episode where not only did I feel extremely preached to but it also felt like an angry feminist screaming propaganda in your ear with a loudspeaker.

I am not gonna lie: first time I saw this episode, I was done with the show and I had completely forgotten most of the details. Then I came back maybe a year later thinking: "well it wasn't that bad." I read the description and I said: "It was that bad... it was so bad... " all those emotions surfaced.

It felt like Quintel greenlit some kind of fanfiction by an angry activist in his writing room. (I just saw the writers and 2 of them wrote episodes of Velma and She-Hulk). Oh my god, Quintel, I feel sorry for you dude, you literally left two show-killaz in your writing room and they completely destroyed it.

How did the show benefit from this show of feminist power? Well... it got cancelled.

Edit: I just checked the votes and saw that the country that voted this episode the most is... not what you expect. Anyone who thinks that entertainment is not a tool for social engineering... they are living in Cromania...

Elize Matsunaga: Era Uma Vez Um Crime
(2021)

Watching this series is like letting John Gacy walk away because of his daddy issues...
This series is freaking wild man and I am calling it right now the producers or whoever wrote this series should never make moral decisions of right and wrong.

If you have a violent partner and they violently attack you then self defense can be excused. If you have an unfaithful spouse then divorce is an option. If your kids gets taken from you then make the best visiting hours deal that you can.

But using your kid to justify taking a life that is not justice that is self-serving revenge covered in a blanket of moral righteousness. If you can do that then you can justify anything like say: let's never release criminals from prison because if they did it once then they could do it again. How is that righteousness? Well, we are protecting all the victims and any would-be repeating offender they would make.

And we aren't even mentioning her skills in animal processing... you know what I mean...

Depp V Heard
(2023)

Series started a bit interesting then completely devolved nonsense and blame shame...
So the series starts with showing Johnny Depp started out on equal footing to Amber Heard like the 4 years of him getting blacklisted from Hollywood didn't happen because of Amber. This man lost movie roles worth millions of dollars and this docuseries is like: "Johnny Depp was making more money and roles that he would ever need. He could pay Amber and even her whole family and friends." I AM paraphrasing but that is basically what it felt like they were saying.

The documentary then presents the juicy highlights of the series without pointing out all the evidence that was stacked up against Heard. Not just from Depp's bodyguards but Heard's own assistants. For some reason, that is not enough to show how obvious this person had either been lying or making the biggest mistakes of her life.

Lastly, and the most distasteful thing about this series was that it blamed the audience for the verdict. Not the evidence, not eye witness accounts, but the fans for swaing the case. Blaming the fans because they were making money from views!? What?! Like the media wasn't showing this every single day and making even more money!? The paid media were making a 100 times more money than any social media publisher with a cheap camera! The media hated the free social media because they were taking all the attention away from media! They thought they had their new cash cow to pay for their complet lack of ratings for the last years and they were hit by hundreds of competition in their homes that they could never buy out!

The media losing the audience is NOT the fault of the youtubers or free social media journalists or lawyers! That is the fault of media for being so biased! The same bias that completely destroyed this documentary series.

As a conclusion, the social media is opening up the market for everyone to hear and think for themselves.

Unicorn: Warriors Eternal: A Love's Last Light
(2023)
Episode 9, Season 1

This episodes starts breaking lore with a sledgehammer...
So, this episode happens and I see that no one addresses some lore breaking things.

First of all, let's question why Merlin is in the same body as episode 1 but these 3 "good" heroes have to take over the bodies and lives of 3 hosts to do their thing? WHY? What happened to their bodies? Why did elf guy have to leave his body behind? Where is Melinda and Sing's bodies? Why didn't Merlin make them immortal and spare the human hosts from suffering?

Next thing, I always assumed that the spirits had to be put in certain bodies, maybe reincarnation like in Naruto where the spirit is split into identity and pure soul. BUT! We have seen in previous episodes, that doesn't matter. Robot Top Hat can spam that power however it likes. So, what the fudge is happening?

Next thing, another thing that doesn't get addressed: heart of the Forrest is supposed to detect lies and destroy people who are deceptive. I wonder what is doing with New King Borther Elf deceiving everyone.

Sing has been shown exploring the spirit realm maybe days in the real world, and he doesn't age at all. This episode implies that he does age, he just ages like the quote: "you're as old as you feel".

I am just going to say this: If this cartoon gets a sequel, it will be a miracle, it basically deconstructed everything it built up.
