Atomic Heart
(2023)

Boring Russian copy of Bioshock series
Started playing it with the Gamepass on Xbox. When I first saw the rating 2.8/5, I thought the game couldn't be as bad. But in fact on my Series X with 4K TV graphics looks like on Xbox 360, physics is very simple and you see the same effects every time, especially while gravitating enemies.

The story is absolutely boring and looks like a bad-made Russian propaganda of Soviet Union. Even like a propaganda it could be more interesting, but quests are copying each other.

One good thing in it is sound. But I don't think you want to buy FPS for it.

Thanks to Gamepass, I won't spend money on it.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
(2022)

It is anything, but not a Tolkien
I hoped this will be not very good when I saw trailer, but it is as bad as it was possible.

The first and the worst thing is a total misscast.

The second is bad action scenes.

The third is a very boring scenery. Heroes are totally empty even though they are maximum pathetic.

Visual work is also horrible. Those who shot that doesn't know what perspective means. Hobbits must be more little than even dwarves and here we totally simple see that these are children of human.

Another importan thing is that authors ruin the world, the rules and the atmosphere of the Middle-Earth. Hobbits masquarade like they are ninjas - here you go.

So, if you don't want to waste your time generating totally bad emotions - pass this one. It is not a bad series. It doesn't have right to exist in the Tolkien world.

Nosorih

Crime is not the answer
If we talk about this movie, we have to understand some context. Forget about "Gamer". This is a real debut of Oleh Sentsov.

About the subject: It's OK. In every case OK. Not genius, with addicted to genre cliche, but the most important thing - it works. It is interesting to watch the movie from the beginning till the end.

Characters: Nice cast. You believe in personalities. If they say, a bandit has nickname Skull - you understand why.

Visual: a little bit more of hand camera and non-stabled plans, but in fact good. Especially there is no romantic vision of 90-s in Ukraine. Brutal time looks brutal and it's good.

In general I will recomend this movie, but not for people who doesn't like brutal violence.
