Wonder Woman 1984
(2020)

You'd have to be an anti DC flog to hate it
I'm amazed of the hatred towards this movie. I thought it had a great story line - which yeah it took time to build, but it did successfully. The character development of the villains were great. It's really a strong sequel to a very successful original that was going to be always hard to top. I liked it. I'm a superhero nerd + movie lover.

Sonic the Hedgehog
(2020)

Fast Fun Ride
It won't win any serious awards - But Sonic was fun filled enjoyable adventure . A great story line - which was filled of a lot of Easter eggs for the SEGA game lovers.

The Way Back
(2020)

Needed overtime
The trailers excited me but I was left disappointed. It's a depressing but up lifting movie with a easy to follow plot - however it was very predictable. Affleck was great, however I still see him as Batman 😢.

The Call of the Wild
(2020)

Adventures of Han Solo and his CGI Dog
Nice story in some ways. Understand it's a family/kids movie, but I didn't enjoy it. I was bored at times and looking at my watch counting down the time until it ended. The CGI dogs just didn't do it for me - at times they did seem real but others you could obviously tell they weren't. The up and down story also would be pretty confusing to some younger people. Harrison Ford is just now milking what ever he could muster up from Hollywood.

Fantasy Island
(2020)

Slowly became my worst fantasy
This movie had so much promise, so much potential and for 3/4 of it delivered, then they decided to plot twist you not once, not twice but three times - which made my worst fantasy..:a horrible mess!

The Peanut Butter Falcon
(2019)

Anyone can be friends
I really loved this movie. Two want-away guys find each other - and create one epic journey, Shia LaBeof has really come about as an actor, and this surely should win him some awards? Also hopefully this is the movie that allows Dakota Johnson to rise back into the big screen. It's a heart felt tale of a Down syndrome dreamer who wants to escape his world and become a professional wrestler- the movie is simple, but entertaining, funny and heartfelt.

Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn
(2020)

This is DC!
The DC world is suppose to be dark, violent and crazy and after trying to compete with Marvel's family universe - they are now going down the right track and where they should of gone. I am big Batman the animated series fan - and this Harley Quinn just reminded of the Harley Quinn in it. Margot Robbie plays the role so well - and writers and done a super job. It has the right amount of humour, action, darkness and also craziness with the dash of Harley Quinn colour. The movie it's self plot wise was great - nothing complicated. I was expecting a disaster- but received a very enjoyable couple of hours. It just makes me so angry on how bad they messed up the Suicide Squad!

Dolittle
(2020)

I am...........Dolittle
Okay, I seriously don't get the hate? I've even herd people claiming this is the worst movie ever made? This was fantastic kids movie - with a little humour is adults can get. The animal characters were fantastic, the voices were perfect for each role. The plot itself was basic....but it's for kids, so what do you expect? Visually it was great to watch and no doubt my kids will love it for years to come! Lighten up....

Uncut Gems
(2019)

Sandler in a gem!
Is this what Adam Sandler is capable of? Why doesn't he do this stuff all the time instead of G rated netflix crap! His acting in this is out of this world. This is capable of being a modern day classic - that in future years will still be praising and after it all - it will feel like you were all apart of it! A roller coaster ride for 2 hours.

Bad Boys for Life
(2020)

Worth the wait....
One of my favourite all time movies was Bad Boys 2. The newer generation wouldn't appreciate it as much as I do - and possibly the follow up which after 17 years we finally got. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence just totally sink, Bad Boys For Life - continues the story line from the 2nd movie...has another wild story which all ties up at the end, great comedy and great action. Thank you boys for returning and doing this film!

Jumanji: The Next Level
(2019)

Where the animals go?
I've loved how they have moderned up a 90's classic. Nothing will ever replace them original with Robin Williams. But Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level have been hits. The story, the acting and the action has been fantastic. The Rock really should be up for an Oscar for his role in playing a senior Danny Devito. My only bug bear about this movie - was the lack of animals in it. No Lions, tigers, elephants or anything from the previous movies. Just a snake, Monkeys, ostrich and some camels. The Robin Williams version made it sound this place was the scariest place alive. However the story and action was still very entertaining - and worth the dollars to see. A great family adventure movie everyone will enjoy!

Halloween
(2018)

Nostalgia + New Thrills
I loved the old classic (back in the day) but really enjoyed this sequel (40 years later) I loved how it kept the same theme music, graphics and school. Michael Myers is back - better than ever but still not talking....Jamie Lee Curtis was super back in her role which turned her famous 40 years ago. All lovers of the cult classic would love this while bringing in a new generation of fans! A good slash/horror movie!

Bohemian Rhapsody
(2018)

An epic movie/concert
If your a lover of Queen, this ticks all the boxes. A great in-depth story, about the band Queen and the legend of Freddy Mercury! All their main covers are all in there with a pretty amazing story. One of the movies of the year!

A Star Is Born
(2018)

Lady Ga Ga The Movie
By the end of the movie that's what it basically becomes - but inbetween is a pretty powerful story which you will need tissues and you tapping shoes on. The duet between Bradley Cooper and Lady Ga Ga is wonderful. Lady's performance is great and proves singers can act... hopefully we see more of her on the big screen.

Venom
(2018)

Villain turn good becomes great
I'm a big superhero fan - and was excited but optimistic when I herd about this film was going to be mad - hence a low expectation going in. The acting was little - weird....however as the film continue the enjoyment factor kicked in. Song have turned a pest villian from spider-man into some what a hero? This has possibly changed the direction of many superhero movies moving forward!

The Merger
(2018)

Kicking goals with your heart
At first it didn't have huge expectations about this movie. David Callinan was one of my favourite comedians growing (Loved Skithouse) so that was the main reason why I wanted to see this movie. As a person who loves Country Footy, this movie kicked a lot of goals close to my heart. From the killer local community nicknames like Porterhouse,Sheepy, Carpert Burn etc... to saving the club by recruiting refugees to their side.

Christopher Robin
(2018)

Childhood memories
I would say Christopher Robin is set to touch the Adult's more then the children. If you grew up like me 80's and 90's Winnie The Pooh was a Saturday Disney must watch. This movie was a beautiful take on what happens when Christopher grows up and becomes an adult in the working world. The voices sound remarkably similar to the original which gave us old fans some great memories. A dark/sad start but a bright and happy end.

Crazy Rich Asians
(2018)

It's a take your misses to maker her happy type of movie
Colourful, funny, sad and a solid story. Crazy Rich Asiains is a great pop corn movie, with an enjoyable cast. However don't go to the movie on an empty stomach - the Asian treats they display in front you makes you desire each one. No doubt this will open up the floor to many sequels and spin offs

The Meg
(2018)

Not enough people eaten!
Nothing in "The Meg" surprised me more than the lack of people who got eaten by this monster size Shark, however saying that- this isn't as bad as I thought and many others are labelling it. It's a good popcorn flick that has a lot better story line and graphics than Sharknado.

Skyscraper
(2018)

I want my two hours back....
In "The Rock's" third movie release for the year - he's left his worse to last. When I herd people were comparing this movie to Die Hard, I was excited. But after watching the epic fail unfold I got angry at those comments. This was borderline rediclous, I still not sure what the bad guys goal was?

Ant-Man and the Wasp
(2018)

Not the Marvel we wanted but what we needed
After the high drama emotion of Infinify War, ANT Man and the Wasp was just what we needed, fun and entertaining with out getting all serious. Paul Rudd pulls in another great performance which sets up to the next Avengers movie.

The Equalizer 2
(2018)

Uber Driver to the rescue
Denzel is back Equalising stuff in a bad ass way! I loved the first movie and this one goes to another level. This time he is helping to locals by being an Uber driver, solving everyday big problems with neck twists, finger breaking and bullets to the head. The epic last stand fight in a hurricane is worth the two hour build up!

Incredibles 2
(2018)

The Incredible wait is over....and its worth it
Incredibles 2 starts exactly where it left off 14 years ago. An Incredible thrill ride right through, that tries to answer how do you life balance the responsibility of raising a family + trying to save the world. I would say this is more of a "Dad" movie than a mum flick, with the star of the show Jack Jack (The Baby). If you loved the original, no doubt you will find this one Incredible as well.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
(2018)

This franchise has entered the Jurassic Period of it's own
My greatest childhood cinema experience was in 1993 seeing the first ever Jurassic Park, and even now when i watch i still get the thrill ride, enjoyment plus the "WoW" factor. I liked Jurassic World in patches but this one, the second in a re-boot they have seriously lost the plot. Dinosaur island about to explode? Then moving them to the main land....oh boy what could go wrong? There weren't any situations where you were surprised. Where they whole re-boot went wrong was not making Chris Pratt's character the kid from the original movie... This is up there with Independence Day's sequel.

Solo: A Star Wars Story
(2018)

Han smashes his "Solo" movie
An exciting ride from start to go. Solo: A Star Wars Story was an epic journey. No doubt many Star Wars followers are still angry about the Last Jedi, surely this great back story of Han's journey makes up for it? with some big surprises and Easter eggs- these latest prequel Star Wars movies seem to be on a much better path than adding to the Star Wars Story.
