though the movie is good, i was very disappointed as the action i was expecting was missing. jackie chan's role is very limited. some meaningless comedy which has been seen n times has been repeated one more time, but u can watch this movie for a funny scenes in Paris and some good fighting scenes on the eifel tower thanks to jackie chan to give at least a few action scenes at this age and thanks for the director for not prolonging the movie as any more length would have added to disappointment. but we don't want to act jackie chan to waste his time for another such kind of movie, instead make more movies like police story or rob b hood..

The movie might be refreshing for Hollywood viewers. but its just like a south Indian movie. excessive violence , new tools for killing , new ways of killing , new way of torturing . though the story is good. after the scene where the cursed girl comes and warns them about their destruction , i expected a much more violent climax , but thank god it just only the hero that runs away killing a few people. the scenes where the girl says" the sun and moon unite, a man will run with jaguar , seemed extremely funny movie and i felt like watching a regional Indian movie.

The director & producer has found a new way of making money . make a movie which surprises the people with violence , new ways of torturing .

The movie is absolutely shocking. Having seen Run Lola run before , i was expecting a different movie from the director. To tell you the fact the ending looked scrap , but appreciate the director not to change the original like most films actually do. The movie deals with the passion of smell , capturing smell , preserving smell . if you see a picture of dish your mouth waters and brain remembers the taste , likewise the movie was so well made that sometimes you remember the smell of the things you see in the picture. The scenes where the guy questions why he can't smell glass are truly indication for his passion for the smell.

I was expecting a different movie , i got to see a movie which is hard to forget.

i find lot of people mentioning the movie has its roots from godfather. which i don't know how. some are saying that they have seen the godfather Tamil people are stupid enough to buy the Indian version. then do they others are stupid enough for watching a movie inspired by a book.

the movie is absolutely fun to watch even though it's been 20 years since the movie has been actually made. good direction, acting, music, screenplay makes the movie a reason not to miss this.the movie is actually well edited . the two songs in this movie are good . while compared to other , especially recent Mani Ratnam movies like Guru where the songs pop out with out any reference to the movie, Nayakan has every song and scene in a right place.

good movie with good performance and extremely good background score. i was actually wondering what exactly the bitter sweet life would mean. i thought it would be some boring flick. the scene where the guy escapes , the guy listening to the girl playing violin and the scene where the guy goes for purchasing gun are well taken. i thought this movie would be extremely boring but found it good it so i had a bitter sweet experience. but the climax is a bit dragging and i don't understand how can the guy survive so long after being hit so many times.

all together this is good action packed movie with good background score and good performance.

i would recommend this movie only if you have nothing to do to kill time you can also better sleep than watch this . the story is about banking fraud.

it starts with police interogation of two persons caught in relating to the fraud. the guy is hypnotized to know the truth.

but i did'nt understand the hypnotisation part, how can a guy lie in hypnotised state.

even more funny how can a guy withdraw money from various accounts say thousands of accounts atonce from a single computer.

how can the guy predict to steal a car from cops and jump of the bridge and act that he is gonna commit suicide while escaping that to he hid oxygen cylinder in the water some time ago.

apart from these silly mistakes, the story telling during the investigation is OK which alone lifts the movie from various lackluster things.

i am sorry i don't know the names of the cast , as i am new to korean cinema and i have never seen any movies of the cast in this movie before. i can't say is a wonderful movie and a must watch. but rather suggest it u can watch this movie if u want to kill time. a guy goes to an island and likes a girl , the girl's mom and granny stay with her. that's a story related why the girl's mom raises those palm trees . there is a slow and touchy narration related . the girl leaves the place and does not go back after her mom dies. the guy searches for her and finally finds her. the locations are good and so is the narration though it seems a little dragged some times. the back ground score is apt .

one of the good dramas i have seen , good controlled performance and some good story narration, even though it looks a bit dragged sometimes.i felt that the story between the mother and son can be cut short or even be avoided.

ah when it comes to memory i have seen this movie a month ago , but i still remember many scenes from the movie. john . h . lee did a good directing job. i am disappointed to see there are only two movies from him. the father and daughter relationship is also handled in a bit touchy way even though there are only a few scenes.

the scene where the father-in-law tells the guy" carpenter only looks after the texture not the material" is also a bit touchy. i would rate in 8 out of 10

noriko , nanhara , kawada and others i don't know there exact names but i have to congrajulate them along with the director Kinji FukaKinji for a job well done.

i have seen a very few Japanese movies and certainly i would like to rate this as one of the best horror/survival/thriller movies i have seen till now.

a group of students are selected and taken to an island to play a surviving game without there knowledge. the important rule is there must be only survival at the end of the game . there are scenes where a friend is killed thinking they might harm. at last there are three survivors .

initially i was confused which category this movie comes under like drama, horror, thriller . but i have to see it's a mix of all the three.

u can expect the same magic/effect of matrix from James McTeigue ,Andy Wachowski and Larry Wachowski. i really trusted this guys, but was hesitant to go this movie thinking it will be replica of the previous masked terrorist movies. i would have missed a good movie if i had avoided this one. terrific story , good dialogues (has a tremenderous effect even though they are not complicated or lengthy ones) like " good guys win , bad guys loose" "england prevails" and many more they may be simple but they were apt to the situation causing a tremenderous effect on listeners. thanks for the director there was'nt much funny action like in the other movies.

this is indeed a daring script to show the chancellor sponsoring terrorism.

the movie is indeed funny and believable too. i would say very good performance from kamal hassan, jay ram (malayalee guy), ramesh aravind (kanada guy), seeman (telugu guy) , urvasi (malayallee guy's wife) and sim ran. the movie starts with flight high jack and how the captain (hero of this film) with heroine saves the flight. even the marriage scenes are pretty funny. where ram( kamal hassan) is caught kissing another girl( his previous girl friend). deva yani though a short role did well in the role of a girl who wants to commit suicide as she is heart wrecked. ram goes to a hotel to save her and in turn mistaken by his wife as he is her lover. Normally a serious scene but handled in a pretty funny way. later how his friends try to encourage him what are the consequences they face is the movie all about.

the movie is equally funny in tamil and telugu . very well translated.

very good movie. good direction brilliant music and brilliant performances by the artists.

the drunkard who is also a columnist in a new paper comments about a dancer for some erratic movements. the girl and her fiancé call the drunkard and try to insult him ,but, insulted by him . he shows the dance movements to the dancer. it is later known that the dancer's mother and the drunkard were lovers in their younger days.

the girl keeps hating the drunkard but she is forced to take lessons from him. even the romance is handled in much more mature and appreciable manner.

brilliant performance by drunkard / dance master , drunkard's friend , dancer , dancer's mom .

rare movie that too in the mainstream Indian cinema. a movie with out words, but conveys much more than words can convey. good direction , good screen play , good background score, good acting. the movie has mixed emotions , comedy, sentiment , love. funny way of handling the scenes of unemployed poor guy. how he tastes fortune in impersonation. the craziest scene is how the guy poses that he has more money than the beggar and get insulted as the beggar has more money than him. later after stealing money he goes near the beggar to show of his money and feels sorry to see the beggar dead and people running after beggar's money. even the romance scenes are handled well.

probably one of the best movies to show why kamal has an is one of the best actors.

the movie deals with the elder kamal killing all the corrupt officials who accept bribe and who a cop chases him. the elder kamal is a freedom fighter , he does not approve of bribing . his son younger kamal leaves the home as his father denies giving bribe for job , and loosing his sister as his dad did not bribe the doctor for saving her. later the younger one becomes a driving inspector accepts bribe . he becomes the main convict for a school bus accident. he tries to cover the incident by bribing and ends up killed by his own father.

the variations shown by the actor are amazing , and the best i have seen so far. he is fat as a freedom fighter, lean as an old father and a bit intermediate as a son. three variations in body in a single film, amazing. the music is good.

the guy (nagarjuna) has a rare disease where his days are numbered , he wants to get away from his surrounding. so , he goes to a hill station. there he meets a girl (girija) who is naughty and teaser.later, he finds the girl is also suffering from a rare disease where her days are numbered too. but, she is not worried . he begins to like her and vice versa. but, hides about his health. later, the heroine does'nt want to be with him as she is afraid he might die before her. but, what happens later is the movie.

a must watch movie. good performance by the heroine (girija). good music by illayraja and good direction by mani ratnam.

the movie has won national award for s.p.balasubramaniyam for best male playback singer.

where have this movie been for three years. oh i almost missed the movie. Jeux d'enfants aka love me if u dare( English version title) is a good movie. good movie that starts as a play between two kids with a little box and develops a good bond between them. the kid's father hates the girl , but has to tolerate her to keep his son away from sorrow caused due to his mother's death. the school scenes between the kids, particularly the bus scene are amazing during the early stages of Julien Janvier and sophie.

some good scenes during their Adolescence include the girl wearing bra on her t-shirt and going to exam, the girl asks the guy to bring the ear ring of the girl he has been chatting . the most amazing scene where the girl sophie puts up an act as expressing her love in front of the other guy.

the girl asking the guy to tell no during the marriage, where she calls the cops and puts the guy in top. lost but not the least is the climax scene. oh my god a lot of scenes more to watch for..

a must watch movie my rating 8 out of 10.

there is not much in this movie. actually the version of DVD of the movie i have see did not support the subtitles well. but Valeria Bruni Tedeschi was good as Marion and Stéphane Freiss as Gilles. has to Congratulate Francois Ozon for handling the movie in a typical way and good narration too . but, why would any couple celebrate their divorce in a motel sharing bed. why does she care about the husband who does not show up during her pregnancy. this is a movie if you are seeing the movies for drama with romance , though not much romance in this movie , you can enjoy this movie. i have given the movie a rating of 7 out of 10..

amazing and must watch movie. not many romantic scenes but a lot of funny scenes . definitely a must watch for people expecting something different , who got fed up with routine taking of Hollywood. i feel it is being made in Hollywood pretty soon. the movie makes audience particularly glued to their seats right from the start. the train scene( 1st scene) , the scene where jjh enters the Tae-hyun Cha class and gets him out of the class, the scene where jjh narrates a story to him, pushes him to water, the theme park scene, the scene where they exchange their footwear, the train scene ( where jjh ) slaps Tae-hyun Cha are the scenes especially to watch out for.
