• This feels like someone watched a few clips from the movies it is trying to parody, described the plot from those clips to someone else, then someone else turned that into this. I only saw 2/3 of the original movies being parodied, one of which I don't even like that much, but these are just awful parodies. I do not see how this even counts as entertainment. Its not commentating on anything. There are no jokes. It feels like someone trying to describe a movie they never saw in a really short period of time. This is so bad. I have never seen such a poorly done parody that fails on so many levels to understand what a parody even is.
  • The premise of the show is good, but in the end it just becomes every cliched show its trying to parody. The only good joke is THE BENCH, which gets old really fast. Most of the show is just boring. I feel like a lot more could've been done with this set up.
  • I watched episode one and it was so painfully unfunny I couldn't keep watching. This is a show that fails so hard at chaotic comedy. Its just bad.
  • This was pretty meh im ngl

I mean it was OK but barely anything happened. i feel like continuing to watch it would be a waste of time.
  • This show has way too many characters, and it shows. I watched seasons 1-6 and they were ok. From what I've heard about them, I'm going to skip seasons 7-8. There is a lot of stupid stuff throughout the course of the show, and it really builds up to massive disastrous moments towards the end of season 6. If it gets even worse - I do not want to watch that.

edit - my mom made me finish the show. it was so bad. I'm changing my rating from a 7/10 to a 5/10. There are no words I can use to describe this show that will not make my review be taken down by IMDb. This show is barely worth watching for the good scenes. Like maybe 30% of this show overall is worth watching and has satisfying payoffs. So much of it is so bad.
  • The movie starts off with pretty terrible narration. There's also some bad music. There's actually a lot of bad music that seems to only be there to fill time. While a lot of the acting is kinda flat, there are some somewhat decent performances.

Ok so I got to a little over 20 minutes into the movie, during which I took the above notes. As someone who watches A LOT of movies and shows with superpowered characters, I think I can safely say that this one isn't worth watching. Its just kind of flat and bland and I wasn't really compelled to keep watching. The music was pretty irritating, and there wasn't really any kind of story hook to make me want to keep watching. If you'll watch movies for the sake of watching movies then you might(?) like this one but otherwise I'd say to pass this one and put on a Marvel movie. Or just watch Epithet Erased.

I had no clue that this was even a thing. I mean I knew about boat-racing but didn't realize that it was this crazy and dangerous. This whole story is so inspiring and amazing. Overall I very much enjoyed it. Like some other reviewers said, this movie is probably too short as it doesn't go into as much detail as it could, but for introducing people to this story, I'd say this movie is great. Not every Documentary is gonna have all the facts.
  • I wouldn't really recommend this movie unless your a diehard fan of animation or something. Visually the movie is beautiful. Story-wise? This movie isn't exactly what I'd call compelling. The story in this movie is more of an idea. It's not funny it's not romantic it's not dramatic. It just exists. The music is alright though.
  • This is movie is basically a long episode separating seasons one and two of the show. Its around the same quality as the rest of the series. Amazing puppeteering, fantastic music, great battles, hilarious jokes - its all here. If you're watching the show, you'll have to watch this movie. If you haven't seen either yet, watch them. Thunderbolt Fantasy is a must-see for all fans of animation, action, and fantasy.
  • This show is great on so many levels. The animation, the tricks, the characters, the music - I can't think of a single aspect of this show I don't like other than it probably won't get more episodes. I would highly recommend this series.
  • Anyone who thinks that the previous two movies are well written is delusional. The only thing in this movie that is sillier or worse would be the special effects. I don't know how anyone could say this movie "isn't as good as the first two" when you actually consider that this is more of the same.

Honestly, this movie accomplishes more than the others in one sense and that is Gus has more character development than anyone else in the series before this. I'm not saying he's amazing or anything, but he has clear motivations.

Anyways these movies are stupid and it's weird that this one is somehow considered worse than the other two.
  • At the beginning this show is really good and interesting. Its funny and creative and I enjoyed it. The problem is that it quickly runs out of ideas and becomes somewhat aimless.
  • This is an alright adaptation, but it is nowhere near as good as the original. Most of the humor in this version seems to come from characters overreacting to things, which is funny, but somewhat repetitive. Another problem is that so much is cut out of this version. I only watched it to episode 9 and I can tell that there is no way that this show would be able to even come close to finishing the original story. Even with what did get adapted so much is cut out and a lot of the characters end up feeling bit shallow.

Overall I guess you could watch this, but the original story is so much better.
  • While overall I wouldn't recommend this too highly I will say that it was entertaining. My only complaint is that he dwells on some jokes for too long.

Everyone who was involved in this movie should be ashamed of themselves. This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen.
  • I went to watch this show because I've seen those funny fake 911 calls from the show. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get to the halfway mark of episode one. This show is so bad. There was clearly next to no effort put in the script. The writers were almost trying to make the show be edgy and offensive like good shows like Rick and Morty or South Park, but they completely forgot to be funny. If you find bottom-of-the-barrel crude and boring humor funny, than you'll like this show. Otherwise, don't waste your time.
  • If you want an example of how you absolutely should not start a show, then watch episode one. The complete and bumbling incompetence showed in the attempt at beginning the story is so bad I don't see why anyone would continue watching (unless they were very bored or being held at gunpoint or something).
  • In class we watched parts of this movie (my teacher skipped through to show us parts of this movie he thought were important.) on the one hand, this movie tells an important story and there's a lot of good performances but on the other hand it's not that good of a movie.

Long takes are impressive when they show something but the director clearly thought that the only part that's important is that the shot goes on forever. There are so many scenes and shots in this movie that go on far longer than necessary. If I hadn't been forced to watch it I would probably have stopped watching it because of all the painfully obvious filler. Why does a story like this need to pad the runtime? Why are (not all but several) of the conversations so padded with breaks between lines so long it's almost as if they were going to put a laugh track in. Pacing is super important when it comes to movies and while this movie could've been great it's held back with poor filmmaking.

I'm probably not going to go back and watch the whole thing. Even if there wasn't the annoying pauses I don't really like movies like this anyways.
  • This is one of those movies that is so bad, so stupid, so purely nonsensical that it becomes funny. Absolutely nothing in this movie can be taken seriously on any level, but I gotta say that while it's a terrible example of filmmaking, it's really funny.

With a nonsensical plot and nonexistent characters, this movie is really fun to make fun of. I wouldn't recommend watching this with the expectation of a "groundbreaking classic." Anyone who says that these effects still hold up is being sarcastic.

This movie has nothing to offer except nostalgia. If you didn't grow up during this time, there's nothing there for you to enjoy.

I'll admit that I didn't get very far into this movie, but there were a lot of obstacles in my way. First, there's no kind of hook, or anything at the beginning that would make someone want to continue watching. Second the art and animation look pretty bad. Third, and this isn't entirely the fault of the movie, but the version I found was the English dub and it was terrible.

    Wouldn't really recommend this one.

    Eh
I watched the first half hour, but I didn't find it that funny. Also the story was too aimless and shallow for me to really care. If you find this funny, you'll like it. if you don't then you won't.
  • I tried watching this movie but as some point a movie is so slow that you have to realize that there's not going to be any pay off. Most of the acting *cough* that little girl *cough* is terrible and the story is boring and there's just nothing interesting about this movie at all. I can't recommend it.
  • At first this was pretty funny and I was interested but then out of nowhere a musical number started and I stopped understanding what was happening,
