I must say I didn't find this so much scary as unsettling in the best way. Right after the final credits rolled on, I rewound the film and watched the ending again, and immediately after that, started the whole movie again. Only then can I say a film is good. As a lover of demononic and paranormal horror, FF in particular, I really liked this one. There were many reviews I read that hated the character Gray, but I didn't mind him. Although a bit annoying at first, I think he really bonded with Deacon and thought of him as a friend, even defending him against Mark later on. The ending was truly heart pounding and the sheer realization of what was happening made you sweat. Watching the entire film over again I do recommend, because I caught a lot of foreshadowing and other tidbits that made much more sense after I'd seen the whole film.

As a fan of found footage, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. And after reading a few reviews that mentioned this as a low budget film, I was slightly discouraged. However, the majority of reviews gave this film high praise so I have it a go. All I can say is... superb job!!! This director, who is also the star actor, is phenomenal!!! I even found myself laughing (in a good way!) at some of his superb lines and his believable character. Outstanding job! Truly, truly a job well done! There are no jump scares and no gore that are typically aspects present in FF films, but it still keeps you captivated. I only wish the ending could have been better, but given that this film was done in the way it was (watch through til the very end and you will know what i mean), this can be forgiven. Overall, bravo! I will watch it again for sure!
