Six Feet Under: That's My Dog
(2004)
Episode 5, Season 4

Totally pointless
What on earth was the point of this episode? It made no sense. Beginning to end. 30 minutes of David riding around in the van with a psycho? What did we learn from this? Word to the wise, when you get to this episode, skip right over it and go to the next one. You won't miss anything.

The Leftovers
(2014)

Makes no sense at all
Just finished the fourth episode. Show makes no sense whatsoever. There's absolutely no continuity from episodes episode. There doesn't seem to be any point to what's going on with these people. It's like most of the world is perfectly normal but there's a weirdness with certain individuals. And what's the point of the psychos in white that smoke all the time. What exactly are they supposed to be representing? The sheriff's wife Laurie is just a evil selfish loser. Turning her back on her family for no good reason. I like I said, I've watched four episodes and I'll probably give it a few more. But I can't imagine going much further. There's a lot of good actors, and the scenery is reasonable, but the storylines are just... I guess what I mean to say is, there's no storyline at all. It's just random flow from one scene to the next with no connections. Weird and creepy with no pay off. Don't waste your time.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
(2022)

Pretty disappointing.
Pretty disappointing. In general I find these superhero shows pretty lame. Every time I try one I end up thinking nope, they haven't gotten any better. That said, when I saw Tatiana Maslany was starring in this I figured I have to give it a try. She's a terrific actress. She was terrific and other things I've seen. Orphan Black of course, but also in Perry Mason. And while she does an OK job with her character, especially the comedy parts, I just can't watch it. Embarrassing that someone who was Orphan Black, would end up in this nonsense. Tatiana, you are a real actress. What are you doing here? I sure hope they're paying you very well.

Skins: Thomas
(2010)
Episode 1, Season 4

Worst episode so far
Worst episode so far. If it was the first episode of the series, instead of just season four, I doubt very much I would have watched the show. Very uninteresting. There was no interaction between the characters that happens in all the other episodes. I realize this was about Thomas, but it just seemed like he took up way more of screen time than any of the other characters do in their episodes. Not interesting, emotional, fun, or entertaining. Just Thomas feeling miserable. His mother was lamenting that there are no virgins in the UK. Well apparently the preachers daughter wasn't one either. They barely knew each other and she dragged him into the laundry room at the hospital to have sex. Hopefully the next episode will get back to a more ensemble situation.

Skins
(2007)

Season one was good
The first season was enjoyable. The ensemble cast worked well. No matter what was going on there was always several of the friends involved. Now I'm four episodes into season two, and each episode is only about one person. A couple of the group come and go, but it's primarily about individuals. Show is really losing steam, I hope it gets better.

Skins: Effy
(2007)
Episode 8, Season 1

Sid is an idiot.
He convinces the very sweet, very beautiful, very fragile Cassie to meet him in the middle of the night. And then he leaves her sitting there for that POS useless jerk Tony. Once again breaking the heart of a wonderful girl, over a miserable selfish idiot. Tony is the most useless type of individual. And apparently although very different, Sid is no better. Cassie deserves so much more.

Ragnarok
(2020)

It could have been interesting
It could have been interesting. I'm just about at the end of season one and Thor is a total loser. Is he supposed to be the god that all the giants are afraid of? One of the women beat him in arm wrestling. Another one of the women shoves him through a wall. And each time he stands there with a blank look on his face. And all the climate, poisoning the world nonsense just makes it stupid. They should've just gone with the mythology supernatural. Would've been a lot more fun and interesting.

Ragnarok: 541 Meters
(2020)
Episode 2, Season 1

What were they thinking?
What were they thinking? How on earth could they kill off the best character in the show in the first episode? And of course they stuck in the comment about old white men destroying the world. We'll just ignore the fact that old Chinese and Indian men (and women) are doing a pretty darn good job too. 🙄

Poldark
(2015)

Ross is an idiot
Ross Poldark is an idiot. Everyone and everything is of utmost importance to him, except for his own wife and family. At every turn he decides to help somebody, with no regard to how it will affect Demelza. It's very obvious no matter what he says to her, that in reality she matters little to him. How he would choose Elizabeth over her is unfathomable. Demelza is beautiful, smart, very strong, and caring. Elizabeth is barely attractive, selfish and cold. She and George deserve each other. My only other complaint is, nobody ever kills George. WTF.

Poldark: Episode #2.9
(2016)
Episode 9, Season 2

WTF Ross
I have a hard time believing anybody would risk losing Demelza, over Elizabeth. The Elizabeth character could not be more bland and uninteresting. While Demelza lights up the screen every time she's on.

Boo, Bitch: Payback's a Bitch
(2022)
Episode 3, Season 1

Prom
I learned something watching this episode. Never thought that was possible, considering the show is pretty lame. Although the Gia character is pretty cute, I like her. What I learned was, prom is racist, and sexist, and exclusionary. Just like every damn thing in the world these days. Who knew? At my prom all those years ago, the black kids, and the white kids, and the Hispanic kids were all there together. There were boys and girls. While it was not as out in the open back then, guaranteed there was gay people. Now that I think about it, what I really learned is that television writers are morons. If it ain't woke they are not going to write it. Newsflash, the world is absolutely nothing like you people try to make believe it is.

Subtitles
I'm one episode in to what could be an interesting enough show. I like the look of it, and I particularly like the lead actress. Now to the part I don't like. Half of the episode was spoken in French. You needed to read subtitles that know what they were talking about. I don't get the point. We all know they're in Paris so speaking French half the time is a distraction. It's necessary to look at actors as well as hear what they're saying. Otherwise you missed half of the performance. I don't know how the producers thought this would add to the show. I for one I'm not a fan of that decision.

Control Z: Enemigo público
(2020)
Episode 8, Season 1

I said it before
I said it before, and I'll say it again. The Raul character needs to die. What a POS. Sophia finally saw him for the sociopath that he really is. Hopefully she never has anything more to do with him. If they were ever to get back together, that's the episode that I stop watching.

Control Z: Coltrol Z
(2020)
Episode 7, Season 1

Raul needs to die
Raul needs to die, but I know he's not going to, since he's in all 24 episodes. I started thinking early on he's gonna be a scumbag. And it's heartbreaking to see how he manipulates fragile Sophia. I actually fast forwarded episode six at the end when they were in bed together. I couldn't watch that. When his father punched him in the eye, I felt sorry for him. I don't feel sorry for him anymore.

Stranger Things: Chapter Five: The Nina Project
(2022)
Episode 5, Season 4

Brenner
Brenner was killed by one of those crazy dog animals at the end of season two. The thing jumped on his head and went to town on him. So here's my question, what the F is he doing here, looking just fine?

Stranger Things: Chapter One: The Hellfire Club
(2022)
Episode 1, Season 4

Season four is off to a very slow start.
Episode one is a high school drama, with a few minutes of horror movie stitched on at the end. And bunch of new characters. Shouldn't we have a little backstory to why whatever it is that's happening to Chrissy, is? The best part of the series is El, with her superpowers. And now she doesn't have them anymore. Whose idea was it to do that to her character? This has to be the least interesting opening episode of any of the four seasons so far. I sure hope it gets better.

Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Lost Sister
(2017)
Episode 7, Season 2

11 is finally back
Finally, an episode where 11 has more than three lines, and one minute of screen time. She's the best character in the series, and she's been MIA for the entire season 2. This episode doesn't make a lot of sense relative to the rest of the show. But at least El is featured.

Stranger Things
(2016)

Not bad
I've seen six episodes of season one so far. The show isn't bad. I like most of the characters, other than the one portrayed by Winona Ryder. She's just incredibly annoying and I can't stand whenever she's in a scene. I'll commit to watching the first season, then decide if I will continue. I'm enjoying it OK, but it's hardly compelling television.

The Bear
(2022)

One season is plenty
I liked Jeremy Allen White in Shameless, so I gave this show a try. I can actually say there was not much that I really enjoyed about it. It was acting well enough, and the kitchen seemed realistic. But in general the storyline didn't do anything for me. There were some good music throughout the episodes. Finding all that money in the tomato cans at the end, came out of nowhere. Didn't make a lot of sense. Give the show a try if you want, but if there's a season two I doubt I will watch it.

Amsterdam
(2022)

A sweet show
Very nice, sweet show. I like the characters, and the storylines for the most part. It's a little bit funny, it's very sweet, and a little bit sad. While the music is good, the numbers go on for too long. It's not necessary to have an entire song played in the middle of an episode. I feel the time could be better used with dialogue and character interaction. That's my only complaint, and it's not a big one. I have to admit, I'm in love with Nadia, just like all the guys in the show are. I'm not familiar with the actress who plays her, but she has such a wonderful face. She draws your eyes whenever she's on screen, regardless of what else is going on. Anyway, an enjoyable show. It's also refreshing to see a series that is more real life. Not every couple is interracial, not every couple is homosexual, although there are some gay characters. It's people just living their lives, without the show trying to send a message. I say give it a try.

Bienvenidos a Edén
(2022)

Bad
I didn't know what this was about. For that reason I didn't expect much, and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't get through the first episode. Just a bunch of young people yelling their heads off on a bus and a parties. I guess the louder you yell the more fun you're having or something like that.

House M.D.: Love Hurts
(2005)
Episode 20, Season 1

Cameron and House?
Cameron and House? This must be the Bizarro World episode of House. In what reality would Cameron be interested in House? Cuddy maybe, but Cameron? Oh come on.

Made for Love
(2021)

Fun and quirky
Quirky but interesting. And it got better as the seasons progressed. Not really a comedy, but some funny scenes. And I like Cristin Milioti a lot. I hope they make up the receipt.

Outer Range
(2022)

Don't waste your time
There's a big hole in the pasture. And then what? I finished two episodes, and still have no idea what the show is about. If I have to go through all eight to find out, it's not worth the time. That's a bit disappointing as it has a pretty strong cast.

Reacher
(2022)

An OK way to fill a few hours
Mostly pretty entertaining. A bit corny at times, and the fight scenes were nonsense. But in general entertaining enough. I liked Roscoe and Finley a lot. Reacher himself was too much of a cartoon character, but he was OK. Considering he was supposed to be so bad ass, he got his ass kicked a lot. I'll watch season two if it's made.
