When i first heard about the movie, i figured Bela Lugosi, must be another horror, monster movie. I was greatly surprised about what i saw and i enjoyed the film very much. It supplied great drama and suspense and it kept me watching although the movie hardly lasted more than an hour. I think the story line was a good idea considering the time period and i think it also emphasized the ideas and feelings that Americans were having during that time. And of course Bela Lugosi is a great actor who keeps his audience watching and waiting for his next "strike". I didn't recognize the other actors that were in the movie, but they did very good and believable acting. This movie is a must see and should stand the test of time, although the movies i say that about don't.

I purchased this movie in a pack of 50 horror films. It was the first one on the list, therefore i watched it first. I fell in love with it from the very beginning. It is a great horror film. Although it wont stand the test of time, it is a great movie and should be spread by word of mouth. Herk Harvey did a fabulous job directing and acting in the film, although i haven't seen any of his other films. The whole movie concept is great and very original for its time. I really didn't see it coming. Even for 1962, it had great suspenseful scenes and great imagery. I also recently bought a shirt from the movie. If you don't have a problem with B horror films then you should definitely watch this one. It is a great horror film and definitely deserves a 10 out of 10 rating.

This was no unlucky 13. It was just as good as the previous 12. Although the comedy wasn't as intense as in previous years, people have been going to not only see George the comedian, but also George the storyteller. Carlin has been around for a long time and has seen a lot of things. He likes to express his feelings and bring up things that most people take for granted. Essentially people listen to Carlin to laugh and also to learn something. So if you feel that this wasn't good because it wasn't as comedic, then i think you completely missed the purpose. George may not have been as quick as he used to be because his age and drug use has taken its toll. Overall I rate this a 7.
