This could have, and absolutely should have been a 90 minute movie. Instead it was unnecessarily dragged out into a limited series. The characters are poorly written and aren't fleshed out. So, this house was vacant for all these years and Cassandra slept since the 70's. Has there never been a power outage? Was lightning on a hiatus for all those years? Apparently this house was in the country (judging by the scenery) yet there never was a weather event that could have knocked Cassandra offline? Also, don't get me started on the family. Apparently, the husband is so oblivious that he doesn't believe his own wife when she tells him about this AI? Give me a break! Don't get me started on the children. The son's character arc was pointless and the daughter's incessant whining was absolutely irritating. These characters were absolutely forgettable (thankfully so). Honestly, so many other forms of media told this story better and in a fraction of the time. Don't watch this. It's stupid, pointless and lacks any kind of satisfying payoff whatsoever.
