Terrifying and disturbing... Solid performances all round...can Lupita do no wrong? Here she is in dual roles - no easy feat! Bravo to cast and crew.

Some of Keaton's finest work... Poignant and just absolutely splendid! Supporting cast are equally strong. A story that will resonate with it's audience.

Disappointing final chapter before Disney takeover
Disappointing final chapter before the Disney takeover - some strong performances, but clumsy handle of one of the most iconic storylines in comic book history. Expected more.

Quite frankly, a shining example in filmmaking. Jake G is at his finest here - putting in quite his most haunting performance to date. Look forward to seeing him in more roles like this.

Bold, Fresh, Innovative
Bold, fresh, innovative piece of a classic story. Perfect casting & direction - Baz was born to direct this one with Leo was his lead.

Rocketman

A lot of glitter!
Tells the life of Elton in a way I think he would approve. Fantastic performances and chemistry (especially between Egerton & Madden) throughout. A knockout extravaganza!

Amazon Prime - Multi-Award Winning WW2 Drama
Discovered on Amazon Prime. Beautifully shot, emotionally charged WW2 drama. Read somewhere it was being developed into a fully-funded feature - I hope this is true. The dance sequence in particular is stunning - chemistry between the actors is quite beautiful. Just shows what you can do when the fundamentals and talent are in place. More like this, please!

Stunning Film of Local Legend - deserves TV segment
Stunning, emotional debut. A beautiful portrayal and documentary-style storytelling of the life of legendary author, Catherine Cookson. Also lovely to see her during her youth, when she was unknown; reacting to the modern-day world. Movie is made even more poignant when you discover it was filmed in her home town of South Shields, 20 years after her death. This deserves a TV segment - a chance for people to revisit history and the challenging life of this remarkable woman.
