Anbarivu
(2022)

#OneManView
This is my take on Anbarivu by debutant director Ashwin Raam. HipHop Aadhi has done a dual role in this film. This film is like a Tamil food named Avial which is a mix of a lot of vegetables and cooked properly but it missed the latter. This is a mix of a lot of crappy masala films and mixed into a much crappier version of those. Good elements in the film are two doll-like heroines who can't act and "Arakkiye" song other than these I can't find anything good to say about this movie. Coming to Aadhi he should seriously avoid message-oriented cringe films. He says some valid points but it become more and more frustrated when he does this repeatedly.

The Matrix Resurrections
(2021)

Neither good nor bad.
This one is about "The Matrix - Resurrections", I had to revisit the franchise to get the strike of what was made previously and I was to be prepared for this movie. One of the good decisions I have made in recent times of revisiting the franchise. Got hold of what the mainstream of the movie has entered the theatre with a lot of excitement. Many might not be fond of this franchise, but a person like me who grew watching Hollywood dubbed movies in the "SUN and STAR VIJAY" network definitely will have the nostalgic feel. Then the movie starts and within 30 mins Patrick Harris convinced me this isn't real and then the action starts. Loved it. That matrix swag when they arrive with coolers gives an ultimate feel. Smith's take-over on analyst and Neo - Trinity are epic.

Rocky
(2021)

Best Film I have watched this year
This is a detailed view of "Rocky" directed by Arun Matheswaran. This movie created some expectations with its teasers, so I thought why not give it a try. The movie starts, I felt quite uneasy for the first 15 minutes the long walk sequence was so annoying the hero walks and walks and goes on, personally felt that sequence was a glitch in a fantastic game. Other than that particular sequence nowhere I was letdown throughout the movie. What a fantastic and astonishing movie the debutant had made. This might be the best debutant work one could ever have done. Through the first half, I thought why "Barathi Raja's" role was praised it could have been done by whoever the role has been offered to, there comes the start of the second half he literally nailed the scene. Rocky, Manimaran, Sami, Nataraj, Malli(Both) and Amutha and the "poo movie person" too, are the perfect ingredients of this movie. Need to say about "Darbuk's Siva" literally am a fan of his work from Kidari, his background score I felt apt for this one. It gave vigor to the movie. DOP did a neat job. Vasanth Ravi, what a man he already proved his worth in Taramani now this tells it's not a piece of one-time luck. Arun Matheswaran did great work, now expectations for his future movies gonna be bigger, and hope he delivers better. I came through one of a person's view on this film and I liked that one it says the plot is about "our valkaiyai thulaitha manithan thanku kidaitha oru nambikaiyai kapatri kolgirana" such an wonderful take on the movie. (Its a war between "A hopeless man trying to hinge through the hope he found and the persons who trying to shatter that hope")

Writer
(2021)

Good movie
This is my take on the "Writer" movie by Franklin Jacob. Usually, the possibility of watching back-to-back good movies is close to 0. But the past 5 films I had watched in theaters were either good, average, or best and it's good my money hasn't been wasted. Now coming to this movie, it's a neatly made one. Some scenes were hard-hitting and too emotional for me to handle. The story reveals itself in a slow manner in the second half of the movie. It's a movie about a "police writer" who was nearing his retirement where a particular duty made a turn of events around him. Loved every character in the movie, especially I loved the Xavier character what an act he showed on the screen is needed to be appreciated. Samuthirakani has avoided his usual messiah-type character and shows the grief and guilt when and wherever it's needed. Madras Johny was ok. Ineya's role was like a little bit of cameo but a well-written character. The film is filled with a lot of powerful dialogs (Unga aalungala ambailaya ye kuthirai la era vida maten pottachi ni thimiru eduthu eruviya ) and a Father's dialog "You are the first person to get an education from the low community, I can't say this will get into the higher community but you will definitely be in higher position" translating doesn't give the feel it had in Tamil ( Keela theru la irunthu muthal ala padika poirka da mela theruku vanthrviya nu enaku theriyathu da ana kandipa mela vanthrve). Govind Vasantha's music gives the proper feel throughout the movie.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

Nothing but boredom. Origin story felt baseless and not convincing. One of the fan of this franchise felt disappointed at this outcome. Wish to be better for the future movies.

Vanam

Starting with a positive note i liked the cinematography of the movie lot of shots and angle were good. Background music were good at some points . I expected a lot from vetri coz his previous films were top notch selection.

Its a revenge horror thriller . I have heard about lot of fetish that a person have but nose pin fetish is new to me😂 this statement is coz there is an zamindar character who has that kinda fetish in the movie.

Negative side - the movie is not running aligned, there is a missing factor through out the movie. No characters were provided a strong platform to carry on the movie. Overall i felt disappointed .

Dhamaka

I was simply going through the Netflix's trending movie and looked this tile , i thought why not just give a shot to this movie least the film might be bad. Then the movie starts and within 15 min of the movie story it kept me to the edge . Its good. Story telling was good. I really wished anand mhata get his apology.

Bachelor
(2021)

Bachelor - My view #OneManView
This movie is about a couple who were in livin relationship. The main plot itself can create a lot of debate, whether livin relationship is good or bad. I support livin relationship . But its not the point. Its a lengthy film but i was completly engaged throught out the movie. In this film both the lead has made their own mistakes. I liked the movie very much but why subbu agreed to make DV case and why the change over in climax, I really liked the climax , i dont want the movie to end with some unrelated climax to make some audiences happy, after this sort of issues no way it can be justified, any other climax could have spoiled the movie for me. Mostly every character in the movie is to be applauded in my view. Lot of characters gv, divya barathi, nakkalites family (arun, manoj, that amma character) , bucks, muniskanth and myskin, every one were too gud for the movie. Gud humor were seen through the movie . Background was good. Theni eswar's cinematography was adipolli. Special mention to director Sathish Selvakumar his execution was perfect.
