Tayo the Little Bus
(2010)

Hit or miss
The first two seasons of the show are excellent, light-hearted warm entertainment with solid episodes! Then the 3rd season came and whilst there were some good episodes, it was fairly hit or miss overall. The production quality went down, the voice actors were pretty bad, the music didn't change much.

Then we get to the fourth season and OH WOW, do things start to go downhill. The production quality is much worse, the buses no longer do their work, the now poorly executed fantasy element increases when that wasnt the shows main focus (what happened to a bunch of cartoony buses doing their work?), the characters don't seem to grow very much. And this continues to the fhith season where it gets worse!

Overall, Tayo started out as a strong show, but went downhill rapidly and overstayed it's welcome. If you're going to watch the show, watch season 1 and 2. Skip season 4 and 5 please!

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em
(1973)

Hilarious
Really funny episodes and such great performance from all the actors! Particularly Frank Spencer who is played by Michael Crawford. Amazing show!

Nativity!
(2009)

Low budget, yet hilarious movie
I've always found this movie funny and enjoyable. The story is pretty good even if there are some aspects that are fairly cliche. The Teacher assistant steals the show, the children sing very naturally, a little off-key but charming, like how school choirs usually are. Final climax is really fun to watch too.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: The Last Problem
(2019)
Episode 26, Season 9

Pretty good
As someone who has been watching MLP from 2012, this was a beautiful finale but also a sad one. Seeing Twilight dealing with someone she once was is really heartwarming and sweet. Seeing her worry about not seeing her friends and them being busy was a little emotional. The final song was beautiful and really can shed tears to anyone who is watching this. I loved every bit of it, it may not be one of my favourites but it is still an excellent episode.

Thomas & Friends: The Adventure Begins
(2015)

A fantastic love letter to the fans, reverend, and overall fanbase.
This film goes on to recreate the first few episodes of the entire show and the first few stories and the RWS. The stories are beautifully adapted with amazing animation. I think some parts are actually better than the RWS, such as the chase scene with james, we actually get an epic chase and the ability to see the crash instead of Thomas just sitting around and moving a crane. The credits are amazing with transition into RWS illustrations. And the songs chosen were nice, really useful engine is a no brainier and it's adapted beautifully, same with troublesome trucks although it is a little of an odd choice but fits perfectly in the runaway with thomas and his trucks.

I have given nothing but praise to this movie, so why is it not a 10/10? The reason being is Henry, I love Henry, he's an amazing character and peaked in greatness in series 1 in my opinion. Here, he is portrayed in his old shape, being wimpy instead of stubborn, and it gets on my nerves. If they are going to stray away from the books, they should try improve on it, not make it worse.

DanTDM Creates a Big Scene
(2017)

It's just...... Okay
Now, alot of people probably gave this a 10 just based on them being fans rather than the shows quality itself. Personally, I think it deserve no more than five. The stories are rather predictable but somewhat entertaining and can get a few laughs even if most of the jokes fall flat. The characters are the best part of the show. The dogs are adorable and very entertaining. Evil Dan is his loveable self, just like in the tour, same with the girl sidekick (can't remember her name but she is really good), and trayurus and the others are great too.

When Kids TV Goes Horribly Wrong
(2017)

Funny videos, unfunny people
This show shows some hilarious moments and stuff that is amazing. I enjoy it alot IF they decided not to get random people to just talk every five seconds and just slow down the video overall. Like bruh, we just want to watch the video, not have these random strangers we don't know of just talk over it.

The Powerpuff Girls: Dance Pantsed
(2014)

It's........ fine
When I first watched this when I was 8, I loved it. But now as a 14 year old, I can still get some enjoyment out of it but it's not spectacular, by no means is it as bad as the reboot or the anime but it's no original series. The art style I am mixed on, I quite like Blossom and Bubbles' designs and Mojo looks awesome but Buttercup looks nothing like the original or even reboot. The story can get some enjoyable moments but it's very predictable. It was cool to see Ringo Starr.

Overall, it's a very average special. Rule and the original are much better but it's worth a few watches. Just don't expect something grand.

Chuggington
(2008)

An alright show
Many people hate this show as they say it's a Thomas and Friends rip off. I was one of them. But I decided to watch some episodes a few months after this mindset started and it wasn't that bad. The stories are honestly interesting and alright but nothing spectacular. I like the engines designs, the animation is quite good, especially by 2008s standards.

I think this show is not as good as Thomas (but better than series 13-16 of thomas), but it has it's charm and will get some enjoyment out of you.

Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z
(2006)

It had so much potential. Why did it get ruined!
Now, I know this is set in a different world to the original powerpuff girls which is a nice change of pace and it is accompanied with pretty good animation. But the stories make no sense and they are extremely childish. They are riddled with plot holes and other stuff. I don't mind the new designs and I do think Mojo Jojo , fuzzy lumpkins and Morbucks looks really good in this show but Him looks disgusting.

I would not watch this show, not even the good episodes. The original is way better and even the reboot is like moanna compared to this.

Gravity Falls
(2012)

Amazing show
I loved this show when it first aired and still do to this day. The humour is witty and even dark at times, the action is well done. The animation is stunning. The finale (SPOILERS) is amazing when bill cipher takes over Gravity Falls and the characters bonding were amazing with Bill Cipher perishing too.

My negative though would have to be with Candy and Grenda. While they are cute, they serve no purpose to the show. They do nothing, they have no episode where they are the main focus (Well Candy did have one but it was in one of the worst episodes in this show) but Grenda? Aside from her being big, she is pointless. I don't mind these too, but I think they could have done so much more with them.

Overall, I do recommend this show.

Go, Diego! Go!
(2005)

It's Dora for boys, but it's somehow worse
In my Dora review, I defended Dora and said how it's supposed to be slow so the young toddler can pick up what it is, I am not defending something like count to 8 going on for 6 minutes of screen time but I can defend it for the most part. This show on the other hand, is exactly like Dora, but the messages in my opinion, are not nearly as good. They say 'You should look after animals and be kind to all' which I completely agree with, BUT, the thing is there are dangerous animals like a Grizzly Bear and a Jaguar that can RIP you up to pieces but this show portray them as friendly and helpful.

I know the message is well meaning and I do agree with the concept with it. But it's not something you should watch. Thankfully, Diego is more competent in the actual Dora show.

The Powerpuff Girls
(2016)

A disappointing show
Considering this show is supposed to have action, this show has almost none, I can only really count the best fights from this show on one hand (there are only around four), the rest are incredibly slow or have several hit flashes to the point it seems like a power point slideshow than an action cartoon. I am not expecting grotesque action like from the original but I do expect there to be some decent level of action. And even with the very few fights in the show, the girls usually just get beaten in one hit.

The episodes themselves are pretty bad or sometimes average, I do think there are a couple of good ones like: Home sweet Homesick, Bubbles the blue, Viral Spiral, Splitsville, Power up puff, Blundercup and The trouble with bubbles and probably others. There are also some horrible episodes, some could be considered some of the worst things in animation history such as Tooth or Consequences, A Star is Blossom, Painbow, Once upon a Townsville, along with 90% of the show.

The comedy is also not a witty as the original. It's usually 'Off model face, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA'. There are a few good jokes but nothing that will make you laugh out loud.

The characters though, dear god what did they do to the characters. Bubbles went from a cute adorable yet sensitive animal lover to a dumb blond who acts like someone from the 2010s, Blossom went from a well minded and tough fighter, to someone who is obsessed with maths and... that's it. The professor went from a caring, loving and one of the best cartoon Dads, to a Dad who came out from a sitcom, has the IQ of a frozen pea and could care less about The girls or the safety of Townsville. Buttercup, went from the toughest fighter, to a selfish and idiotic person. Also Buttercup get's way too much attention in episodes and fights while Blossom and Bubbles are kinda just there in this show.

The new characters? I think most of them aren't great but I do like the Gnat since he is kinda funny, I also like The Fashionistas as they are very smart and actually pose a threat. I don't mind Allegro either minus the twerking scene, I think he's okay.

If I did have to give some positives though, I do really like the new voice actors, yeah I would've preferred the originals but the new voice actors are really nice, and the old voice actors still have their charm. I don't think all characters got ruined either, The Mayor and Mojo Jojo are still their loveable self, Him is still the threatening villain even if he barely appears. Princess is still a brat although she is more acting towards the pre-teen side like Bubbles

I don't recommend this show, even for the good episodes as they're so few and far in between. Stick to the original.

Summer Camp Island
(2018)

A solid CN show.
This is quite a good show. It is more of a slice of life show but it's something that does keep you entertained. Simple things like Art competitions or a Basketball game are turned into something unique and original yet fun for the audience. The characters are really entertaining (bar pepper corn since she literally whines all the time and caused the entire island to waste their night just trying to find her blanket which she had all this time).

I recommend this show completely even if it does have it's duds with certain Panda I will not name.

Bunsen Is a Beast
(2017)

Butch Hartman shows seem to get worse and worse.
When I first saw this episode, I had me interested and I did enjoy the pilot. But the episodes after that usually ranged from average to awful with few good ones. I quite like the characters but there was a lack of development although this show only lasted for one season. The animation does look cheap which is a shame since I really like flash animation style and can be wonderful to look at when done right, I feel a lot of the stories have potential but are never used in that way. This show had potential but was held back by the writing team and subpar animation.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage
(2017)

Couldn't sit through the first 45 minutes
Now ad someone who is a fan of action movies, this is a disappointment. The action is extremely over glorified, the main character is basically an overpowered and unfunny man yet everyone treats him like the messiah. The story is confusing, the characters aren't entertaining. Skip this movie please.

The Problem Solverz
(2011)

Horrid cartoon
Bad and seizure-educing art style but characters are fine.

Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom
(2009)

Fantastic Pre-school TV.
This cartoon is about elves and fairies going on adventures, they are very small and like to be kept unknown to humans. Our main characters, Ben, Holly and Gaston go on adventures with their friends and families.

The stories, unlike its sister show, Peppa pig, are actually really good, some have decent action in them, others can get a few laughs out of anyone, the composing of music is pretty good. It is a fun cartoon for all the families

Now, there aren't really many downfalls except for one which I think you would've expected and that's with what Nanny Plum says. She says something along the lines of 'That's an idea, a very stupid one'. Now it may not sound so bad until you realise this show is aimed for kids under 6. For me, I find this quite funny to here language like this in a show for pre-schoolers, but to parents, it may seem abit risque to them. She doesn't say it that often, only about 3-4 times in the entire series but I do recommend you check this show to see if you are okay with them saying 'profanities' like 'Stupid' infront of your 6 year old.

Overall, I do recommend this show to anyone really, just keep an eye out on some minor flaws and you will be good to go.

Peppa Pig
(2004)

Below average pre-school TV show.
I loved this show when I was around 4-5. It was entertaining for me and I could relate to Peppa which is great if you are around that age. However, now I am much older, I can see it's just a below average TV show. The characters are meh, some are decent while others are meh, the animation is fine, the voice acting is okay, the comedy may get a few laughs at first from the children but nothing else after that, there is really just nothing I can say about this show or to make this review interesting.

I do not recommend to anyone upwards of the age of 7. They will most likely find this show dull and boring but anyone under 6 should enjoy it enough to keep them occupied.

Overall, while there are much better pre-school TV that can be enjoyed of all ages, younger kids should enjoy this enough albeit they may be more interested in other stuff.

Dora the Explorer
(2000)

Show is made for kids under 5.
This show is made for kids under 5. Of course its going to be mind-numblingly slow because of the educational aspect and waiting for kids to catch up. However, if there is one thing you should take away from this show, its spanish as she teaches it flawlessly to anyone.

The Amazing World of Gumball
(2011)

The amazing world of Gumball makes this world amazing
This is a very unique show as the animation is mixed with 2d characters and 3d backgrounds. And we are just not talking about some stock generic background you may find on a windows desktop. They are animate from the ground up. Some characters are also in this 3d style whilst our main Characters, Gumball and Darwin aswell as a few others are in the traditional 2d animation.

The voice acting Is pretty well done, every single voice actor (with the exception of Darwins latest voice actor) has been great and whilst the vocals may not be the best in some cases, it makes up for it with its visual presentation.

Its sad that it ended (and on an average episode aswell) but we should be happy we have this show to watch all the time.

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!
(2015)

Not the best art style. Though unique and has alright stories.
Now let's get the big guns out of the way. The art style. I am personally not a fan of this art. It looks like something that belongs in uncle grandpa. Now that's out of the way. Let's get on the to stories. I personally love the stories. They are entertaining and while most jokes fall flat. It is still entertaining.

Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps
(2008)

Had nostalgia for this as a child, now, i can see its flaws
I loved loved LOVED! this when i was much younger, i thought the stories were great and everything! Now, i can see its flaws, one thing, the singing is below average but the songs are pretty catchy, the intro is pretty catchy yet too short. The animation is average but it looks the same as all other CGI pre-schoolers shows such as Mike the Knight and Fireman Sam. However, i do have nostalgia for this although I will not let it influence my opinion on the show, and the composers are pretty good, shame their talent is wasted here...

Craig of the Creek
(2018)

Great show, writing and characters! aside from the main character (craig......)
This show has some of the best writing out of any CN show to date, it is just a normal boy and his friends playing after school in the creek, seems boring, right?but they go on amazing misadventures, some simple like going to a tea party yet others are them trying to cross other dimensions!

My one downside with this show is Craig..... deary me, he is just shown to be a whiny kid who only cares about himself (seriously he was trying to make a tree catapult and when the tree fell on J.P. instead of helping J.P. he was like 'Oh NO! Now i will have to grow a whole new tree) seriously! also he says he is too perfect... nothing on earth is perfect, escpecially someone who whines about tasting something new. And another thing...... the voice actor is awful. This may sound rude but i am a brutally honest person and i cannot lie... He was the wrong voice as in the newest episodes at this time, he sounds way deeper and more like someone in his teenage years rather than someone in primary.

Overall, aside from Craig, this show is reccomended.

Gekijô-ban poketto monsutâ: Maboroshi no pokemon: Rugia bakutan
(1999)

Humerous, heart-warming and overall one of the best pokemon movies to date!
This is an example of a pokemon movie done right. For one thing, they used a pokemon talking human languages which is pretty interesting and has never been done without telepathy, they could have expanded on it a tiny bit more, but its great nonetheless.

Also, the villain is pretty awesome. He tries to capture all 3 legendary birds from the orange islands (which is interesting since some of the legendaries birds in the later remakes of kanto are in the sevii islands and he also tries to capture lugia which is telepathic and is nice to see in the kanto era)

The animation and soundtrack is simply beautiful. you can really tell they upped the budget.

Overall, great and beautiful movie.
