Awesome show right up there with the Americans or Homeland you ask me. In that line of work there are no friends just survivors.Cant wait for season 2.

Was looking forward to season 2. Ive seen several Russian series on NFLX was never aware they made such good ones (Road to Calgary, Trotsky). This one flows really well, quirky characters and situations at times but highly recommend it. As someone else pointed out never realized the 60s Soviet Union could be so exciting, lol

Most including myself always thought of Lenin as the author of the 2nd Russian revolution. In fact Lenin and them including Trotsky were ALL living abroad at the time of the 1rst Russian revolution led by Kerensky that overthrew the Tsar that revolution in turn later overthrown by Trotsky not Lenin who was in hiding at the time.

Either way Trotsky not only overthrew Kerensky but founded and led the Red army during the civil war with the Whites. And it was Trotsky not Stalin who was the author and founder of the red terror that killed millions and concentration camps . He was no prince charming that's for sure, worth the watch though no doubt

AWESOME show, great flow, great story. Loved it. I've seen some great stuff come out of Span. This is the best one

They used to call movie watching escapism. But these days it seems you can't watch anything much less read a review without it's author going political on you. Of course this being a NFLX production they had to show that in a time period in a country with 600 strikes that year the only one where violence occured was when the police after charging a womens rights protest with horses and sticks killed a one of the women protestors. Like I said 24/7 politics thse days for some, 24/7. LOL
