Hypnotic
(2021)

I liked it
Maybe because I wasn't expecting some kind of amazing blockbuster hit, I actually enjoyed watching this movie. It was only a bit bland in some areas but overall good acting, interesting plot, and pretty entertaining.

Cruella
(2021)

Bad writing
Just plain bad A couple months ago I checked the reviews and it was nothing but exact descriptions of what I think about the movie. Now suddenly there is nothing but positivity. I find this suspicious and wonder if disney bought positive reviews. God knows they can afford it.

365 dni
(2020)

Terrible
Tbh, I couldn't make it past 20 minutes. It is just awful.

Things Heard & Seen
(2021)

Didnt care for the ending
I gave 9 stars for the first 9/10 of the movie. The last bit was kind of a let down.

Words on Bathroom Walls
(2020)

Watch to cry for an hour straight
This movie shows the struggles of real mental disorders very well and it is completely heartbreaking to know that some people live like that everyday and theres little relief or help for them.

The American Barbecue Showdown
(2020)

I gave it a 7 for the writers
This couldve been a very good show, but it was quite obviously fake. Some of them had poor acting and the judges were miscasted.

The large guys little meltdown was clearly scripted and it looked like he was almost trying not to laugh during it.

Also the comments the judges would make during the cooking process, would always lesd up perfectly to who was getting kicked off.

But definitely a great script and a great premise.

Dark Places, Deadly Illusions
(2021)

the terrible acting was the most entertaining thing in rhe movie
Pointless, dragged on, and just plain sucked in every possible way

Prison Break
(2005)

a good example of what makes a great TV series
Well-paced, suspenseful, relatable characters, good acting, believable story lines, and extremely entertaining.

Mary Queen of Scots
(2018)

Sad that someone would try to twist history like this.
There are many things in this movie that are right out of thin air which have no single stitch of basis in history. The roles of hero and villian have been confused. The real queens and nobles would probably be horrified at the way theyve been portrayed in this wreckless movie.

Don't Blink
(2014)

The real mystery is how did this movie get made
This entire movie is a mystery as to why people have dissappeared and they do not tell you even a single sliver as to why. Not a hint, clue, or theory. Its just people dissappearing and you dont know why, and you never will. I dont understand how this script didnt get torn up by the first person who read it. Anyone who claims they liked this movie is just trying to feel smarter or something because this was garbage

Earth: Population Overload
(2018)

Outlandish unfounded statements
I'm actually blown away with how blatantly ridiculous this was. Not worth your time.

Ancient Aliens
(2009)

They are on to something but need better research
It is a breath of fresh air to see someone investigating history without the silly evolution theory guiding them, but while they are definitely finding extraordinary evidence of unearthly beings, they fail to keep their mind open to anything beyond the idea of extra terrestrials wielding technology. This is causing them to jump to conclusions and ignore other evidence. Other than this, this show can be informative and thought provoking.

Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer
(2019)

Very well paced and captivating
Very good documentary. It felt informative and interesting. One i will not forget.

A Hologram for the King
(2016)

Nothing happened
The movie title is very misleading. The direction of the story keeps on changing until the end when you realize there was no story at all and you just sat there for almost 2 hours staring at a blank screen having your time wasted.

What Men Want
(2019)

Better than i expected
Maybe I liked it because of how low my expectations were. I am someone who is seriously sick and tired of remakes, but this was surprisingly entertaining. The characters were likable and the story line was its own

Wild Wild Country
(2018)

Rare example of a truly unbiased documentary
I felt like I was being shown all sides of this historical event, and all other historical/social documentaries should take a note from this

The I-Land
(2019)

Pretty good show
I never thought I would say this about a limited series but it needed to be longer. The pace was a bit slow in the first 2 episodes, 3 and 4 were perfect, and then 5, 6, and 7 felt very rushed. Other than that, it was a great show. I kind of wish I wasn't left feeling like we only grazed the surface of the story.

Unbelievable
(2019)

Highly recommend this
I didnt even know it was a true story while I watched it and it was already a 10 star to me. Knowing its a true story, i love it even more. Ill be telling everyone I know who says, "what should I watch?" lol

Beauty and the Beast
(2017)

Not a movie so therefore deserves no stars
Okay technically its a movie but its literally an exact copy of an already existing movie. This was completely unnecessary and I still can't figure out why it even exists. Why didn't they just save their time and energy and repromote the original? Its literally the same exact thing!

Through the Wormhole
(2010)

Insulting to my intelligence
How do you create a "dark matter detector" if you have never had any dark matter to test what its made out of? Just what exactly is the machine detecting? Why aren't we given any answers to simple obvious questions like that? Are we supposed to just blindly accept that they built a dark matter detector based on nothing?

Warning: there are almost zero explanations for anything during this entire series

Tip: If you are the type of person who likes one-sided information and scientists who are completely dismissive and disrespectful to other scientists who study opposing theories, then this show is for you

Criminal: UK
(2019)

Most entertaining show I've watched in a while
Although episode 3 made me sick to my stomach. The unethical police behaviour and their discussing whether to sweep things under the rug. Then at the end the woman wants to delete part of the recording to avoid getting in trouble, and she also makes a joke that she's heading out to tamper with evidence. Ill give them this, its very realistic. I mean, we all know how greasy cops are, but God it's difficult to watch with my own eyes.

Diagnosis
(2019)

Great show, skip episode 5
This is a good show if you love crying your eyes out from sadness and then crying from joy at the end of each episode. Episode 5 shouldve just been thrown right into the trash but other than that, a good concept and good stories.

The Glass Castle
(2017)

Could have been 10/10 if not for...
...the ending This review is solely based on the movie since i never read the book. It was very emotional and kept me interested in the story the whole time, but the ending left me feeling a little ripped off with confusion and unanswered questions. We are told why the father is the way he is, but we never find out what's up with the mother. The whole time you don't know if she's mentally ill, delusional, sociopathic, an abuse victim, or what. I mean no normal mother allows their children to grow up like that and her motives are never explained to us. The ending turned out to be very silly. She decides to divorce her husband and quit her job and accept where she comes from, then they all sit around the dinner table talking about how great the father was. I'm sorry but that doesn't count as closure to me. It felt so foolish after such a serious movie. I gave it 8 stars because 80% of the movie was fantastic, and I'm not going to discount that just because of a horrible ending.

Premonition
(2007)

Loved it, but there were plot holes
This could've been a perfect movie but they screwed up the timeline on the daughters face cuts. They also didn't show what happened after the accident. In order for everything to make sense she would have had to have gone home and went to bed without calling the police or telling anyone what happened. They also didn't finish the story, it just ended.

The Theory of Everything
(2014)

Irony had me cracking up
While he is working so hard to prove that everything is evolving, he is actually deteriorating. I only give 5 stars because not much else was funny
