Squid Game: The Challenge
(2023)

Do you not get that this is a game show??
People in here rating it poorly because they misunderstood what this is??

Season 2 of Squid Game is coming but no, this is not it. Clearly not.

I enjoy this show very much and think the challenges are funny and exciting.

Yes, some people are annoying, some less annoying. Like in any other reality show. Great casting. The development throughout the show, and the challenges are clever and on point with the original Squid Game.

Cant wait for more episodes. This gets more and more exciting each episode. If you enjoyed Squid Game and also like reality shows like Survivor you wont be disappointed at all. Ignore negative reviews.

Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones
(2019)

Keeps on going strong!
Awesome performance!

No rules and no regrets.

Spot on delivery.

So funny with the last 20 minutes in full drive!

Prepared to hate it!
But loved it!

Fantastic tribute to Luke in first episode.

Rim of the World
(2019)

C'mon that sh.. was funny!
I'm almost 40, and enjoyed this alot.

Yes, alot of profanity and definitely not for kids. So what? Maybe it had problems really to know what audience to target. And no it's not the ET or Stranger things crowd. It's the Friday night popcorn and candy crowd who wants to enjoy an action/comedy without much thinking. A movie teens AND their parents can enjoy together.

I especially enjoyed the character of Dariush played by Benjamin Flores Jr. He did a tremendous job in his role, and was very funny.

It deserves better than the average score it has right now.

Historical Roasts
(2019)

Unbelievably not funny!
Wow. Really missed the mark.

I am a roast, and standup comedy fan. I never miss a comedy special, or roast.

Was looking forward to see what direction this was gonna go, and boy they went the wrong way.

So cringe worthy I am still looking for my toes. Never laughed ONCE!

Admitted I skipped some parts, and didn't even bother with last two episodes. This is so bad it should have never aired.

Good Girls
(2018)

Binged first season in one day...!
So I guess I recommend it. 😁

Just watch it!

No further explanation needed.

Dead to Me
(2019)

Nailed it!!
Dark, funny, exciting. For hitting the genre, it could get 10/10.

Like many others i watched it all, in one sitting, only pausing for snacks and toilet breaks. 😊

Great casting! Every role really, maybe except the older brother, who really didn't shine through imo. But otherwise, all other characters are really great. The chemistry between Christina and Linda are spectacular! Loved the small role of Ed Asner. Hope he never dies. 😁

Take 5 hours out of your schedule and watch this series.... Right now!

The Victim
(2019)

Amazing!
Last 20 minutes could have saved even the worst series ever.

So intense, gripping, sad and powerful.

The acting throughout was incredible.

4 episodes only. Can easily be watched in one sitting. And you will most likely be crying at the end. I did. 😥

Jimmy Carr: The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits
(2019)

Expected more...
I saw this show live in Copenhagen, and it was waaayyyy better than the performance here. I thought the shooting of the Netflix special would be the best site to tape it on this tour. I don't know if Dublin that night had a lame audience ( think it was Dublin ) or Jimmy had a bad night, but it was not really as funny as you would expect. And not even 1 hour long? Where was all the texts from the audience in the end of the show? Where was all the normal hecklers? Where was the good intro to wherever he was in the world? Disappointed...

Ready Player One
(2018)

I have read the book 8-10 times...
Hated the movie the first time seeing it. Actually I walked out of the movie after 30-40 minutes because I was utterly disappointed with the story not following the book what so ever. A race with cars to start off the whole thing?? C'mon that is just ridiculous. New characters joining in, not even in the book. Characters FROM the book with a totally different storyline? It was a disaster! I cursed Steven Spielberg for ruining my picture of RPO. I could not forgive Ernest Cline for participating and writing a script so far away from the book. Cut to present day. I saw it premiered on Netflix. First I thought no way! I was so disappointed, and promised myself never to watch that sh.. ever again. Then I checked out all the reviews on IMDB saying it was actually a very cool movie. Ok, I had nothing else to do, and pressed play, thinking I would turn it off again or just look down on my phone or whatever. At the same time I promised myself I would see the movie without thinking about the book, storyline, plot and so on.

And daaaaamn! The movie is actually not that bad! It's a cool story. Retro "back to the Future" soundtrack. Incredible CGI. And good casting to the different characters. Exciting developments and almost tearfull ending. 😀

Anyway. I have never changed my opinion of a movie so much from the first (half) time seeing it. Thumps up!
