There was certainly effort involved Despite lacking true tension, Drone Wars does a very serviceable job in bringing exactly what you would expect.....drone wars and action.
However, the script is fairly flat, the acting is all over the place (some good, some bad), and the general effects are pretty meh.
There's SOOOO many worse B- flicks out there, but this just doesn't stand out from the pack and it doesn't have a lot of memorable moments throughout.
However, the general concept isn't too bad. I enjoyed bits and pieces here and there. Some of the score was cheesy, but worked for me. The editing had some yikes moments, but then there was also some very commendable stuff.
Overall, If uou enjoy these types of mindless action flicks, it's truly decent I guess? Not sure I would recommend it, but maybe I would recommend like 20 minutes of the whole film
