National Geographic - Ice Climb - is the story of a heralded male ice climber Duncan Ferguson partnering with a much less experienced climber Nancy Pritchard to ascend the forbidding 40 story curtain of frozen ice in Telluride, CO named Bridal Veil Falls. Bob Carmichael Director/DP produced this film for Nat Geo. The crew of riggers including Paul Sibley along with Assistant Director Kevin Donald and assistant Joe Montgomery found formidable obstacles in working under the fragile curtains of overhanging ice. The tension between the two climbers was real and captured as it unfolded.
