Atlas is a good science fiction action film that puts Jennifer Lopez in a lead of a sci fi action film. Lopez is put inside a mechanized robot on a strange planet fighting against AI Robots and trying to stop the leader from destroying humanity.

Plot and visual effects looks like it came from a video game. That does not stop the director from turning this concept into a exciting thrill ride from beginning to end. Atlas (Jennifer Lopez) is on mission to stopping the artificial intelligence terrorist that went rogue which she had created.

The performances and cast ensemble were a bit flat with there acting.

The action sequences were pretty exciting and entertaining.

The First Omen is a good supernatural horror film which is a prequel to the Omen that follows a anti christ child Damien. It follows Margaret going into Rome with the other girls converting there lives to god. Only to discover something sinister happening within that church.

It has a great cast ensemble. The film has a creepy premise with a girl being victim to a devil producing a child. Hoping it is a boy to be the anti christ. The birthing scene was creepy. The films tone and direction was good with its unsettling tone. It does lack scares and thrills. Overall, it is a good film with the lack of scares.

If is a fair family film that has heart, cute, and has a story that can relate to children and adults. The plot is okay. About a child whos father is in the hospital. She meets a guy who helps imaginary friends characters that noone sees gets back to there original children who are adults now.

The humor is okay and cute. The characters are fun. Ryan Reynolds is also good with the role as well as Cailey Fleming. The film does have a theme of never forget your dreams as a child. The music scote by Michael Giacchino is good. John Krasinski did great with his role. His script and direction felt little short handed with the substance of the story. It was lacking a central conflict besides a child growing up and overcoming loneliness. He did okay for a family film. It was not the best. But it was not bad.

Anyone But You is a good romantic comedy film that follows Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) who almost had a successful date which leads to a bad breakup. Year later, there mutual friend is having a wedding and both of them agree to pretend to be in love to despise there exs.

Plot is a rom com and predictable. It is fun. It has some fun moments. The characters are fun. The two main leads Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney were the highlights and it was fun seeing them bickering at each other. The direction is a rom com. We all know were it is going to lead too.

It has a great cast ensemble. The humor is fun. The leads had a lot of fun. It was a fun film with some thin issues with its cliche.

Furiosa: A Mad Max saga is an awesome post apocalyptic action film that is a prequel to Fury Road film and more of a epic journey following Furiosas character from her childhood to young adulthood leading to the next film.

It is exciting to see George Millers next film in the mad max saga. Making it seem like there more films that could follow. And yes. I will be there to see more of this stories. Furiosa film delivers the action. Delivers the story. And direction and stunt work are just incredible.

Plot is epic. It follows the 15 years of furiosa until the beginning of Fury Road. Her being taken away from her green place. To meeting a warlord Demetrius (Chris Hemsworth). And her coming across the war boys from Immortan Joe.

The action sequences are exciting and thrilling. The car chases are awesome. The set pieces is exciting giving more of a back drop to gastown. There are a few exciting action sequences. The climax of the film was a little underwhelming compared to Fury Roads epic car chase. Which only involved Furiosa and Demetrius. The spiral downward tanker chase scene was exciting and made up for it.

Anya Taylor-Joy is incredible with the casting choice as Furiosa. And Chris Hemsworth had a great time playing as the villain this time.

The music score was awesome. The cinematography and direction delivered an incredible cinematic action experience.

Overall, George Miller Mad Max saga is a masterpiece and i hope he does another film in the universe and hope it does not take long to see another film.

Challengers is a pretty good romantic sports drama film about two best friends who are tennis players meeting one professional Tashi (Zendaya) which they are attracted too. Tashi gets hurt and falls for one of them which causes the best friends to become enemies. She coaches and marries one of them. While the film starts with the two friends competing with each other. And the story folds in a non linear direction of the past and how there relationships are changed.

Great plot. The film moves at a fast moving pace bouncing around from one time event to another. Cast ensemble is great. Zendaya delivers. Same with Josh O Connor and Mike Faist. The music score is awesomethe tennis match in the climax has some entertaining cinematography work which is all over the place and can be dizzying but stylish.

I did not like how the film ended which left a lot to speculate on what happens next.

Overall, it is one entertaining drama that moves fast and delivers a complex love triangle.

Maestro is a bad biographical romantic drama film that show cases Maestro and his wife story. The script is okay but the plot of the story of his life events is forgettable. Bradley Coopers film is the least favored compared to A Star is Born. It is boring. The direction is slow and tedious while showing events of Maestro and his composing career.

The performances were also okay with a cast ensemble lead by Bradley Cooper which he has prosthetics to make him look unrecognizable. It is a forgettable film with a talented cast and story. Bradley Cooper could have done better with this film.

The Strangers Chapter 1 is a pretty fair horror film with a promising start and some thrills and suspense. It has a couple visiting a small town. Getting strange looks from every local. And being stuck in a airbnb cabin cause there car is not working. And three strangers is trying to break in.

Plot is okay. Very similar to the original. It does end in a cliffhanger or for a sequel to continue the characters. There is a mid credit scene that hints for another.

It has a great cast ensemble. The music score is okay. The direction and thrills are okay. The films script is filled with stupid characters in making a dumb decision. And could be scarier.

Leave the World Behind is a good apocalypse psychological thriller film that starts out promising and builds a great sense of paranoia mystery throughout.

The film starts promising with a family renting a airbnb and leaving the city. While on a beach witnessing a oil tanker crashing into it. Then, the owners of the airbnb house visit to inform them the network and satellites are down. Now comes the mystery with the country under a cyber attack and a strange noise happening outside. Causing complete chaos with the family and the owners trying to get through it together.

It does have a great cast ensemble with great performances. The direction of paranoia throughout was great as the characters are isolated not knowing whats going on around the world. If it is a threat? Or terrorists attack? Or one character mentioning several countries all teaming against the U. S. There is a lot an audience can speculate with what is happening. That is the best part of the direction that leaves a bit of mystery as the characters are confused and trying to figure out what is happening. Then, one character becomes ill after the strange noise. The animals acting strange. Neighbors being defensive towards friends.

I will say the ending was weak. It ends with leaving characters fate up in the air. Not knowing what is happening with a sick character. Or about the family. Not sure if it was attended for the end of the world chaos. It just felt like they did not have a proper written ending.

Overall, it was a good film.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is a good spy action comedy film. It may have Guy Ritchies humor and direction. It is taken from a story that actually happened. The plot is good. The cast ensemble is great. Henry Cavill and the rest of the cast did great. The action sequences are good. It has a build up with a team trying to sabotage a group of Nazis U boats.

It is entertaining. The music score was forgettable. The action sequences is good it also lacked the intensity direction.

It is a Guy Ritchie film that is a world war 2 spy film with his sense of direction that delivers.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is an awesome science fiction action film that takes this fourth chapter hundreds of years after the War film. It follows a new group of characters like Noa an ape who is learning about the human world and what Caesar was. After his village was attacked by a tyrannical Ape named Proximus. Noa and a human Mae will have to work together to help stop him.

Plot is great. Following Noa and Mae who barely trust each other. Mae has her own agenda of her own as humans are scarce and close to extinction.

The script and worldbuilding is great. The action sequences are exciting. The visual effects are amazing with the stunning back drop of the setting. The cast ensemble is great. Freya Allen did a wonderful job as a quiet character who is fighting for survival. The new ape characters are also great.

Overall, it is a great film and start of a new trilogy with more to come.

Wish is a good animated fantasy film that has a plot following a sorcerer who is claiming to protect everyones wish in his castle. While he has his own agenda until an apprentice Asha (Ariana DeBose) finds out and tries to set the wishes free.

Plot is good. A theme about peoples wishes being taken away for ones own greed. The animation is great and entertaining. The musical sequences are also great as well. Chris Pine voiced a great villain. And Ariana Debose did great as well.

The rest of the voice cast was iffy. The animal characters like the goat felt off and some other characters were a bit forgettable.

Overall, it is a fun film for the families.

Monkey Man is a pretty good neo noir action thriller that Dev Patel hands down did a fantastic job in starring and directing his first action thriller. The film feels like a Indian John Wick film. Dev Patel playing a character that is going on a revenge spree of a corrupt officer who killed his mother when he was a child. They use the concept of a indian folklore and the legend that inspired it. With Dev Patel being reborned as a non stop vigilante.

The script and direction is fast moving. The plot is good. The action sequences are brutal and exciting. The cast ensemble was good. I did feel like the direction did have some uneven tone with odd music choices or Dev Patel being clumsy and running into a unbreakable window.

Overall, it was a good film for the action genre.

The Fall Guy is an awesome action comedy film that has great leads by Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. A movie that has a mixture of comedy, action and a bit of a romance story. The story does pay homage to filmmaking and stuntmans. The plot involves a stuntman coming back to a big movie which leads him to a conspiracy of a missing action. It is a fun plot. The action sequences are entertaining. The humor is fun. The cast ensemble is great. It does have a fun soundtrack and direction by David Leitch. The climatic sequence taking place durina movie stunt was a lot of fun. Overall, it is a fun film that has a lot of surprises.

Trolls Band Together is a pretty bad jukebox musical animation film that takes the third film about a group coming back together like a boy band. A direction trying to have a 90s boy band come back. The music and soundtrack is great. Overall, the rest of the film is tiresome and boring. The animation is colorful as always. The story is boring. The jokes and humor are more for children which they will enjoy. The second film was the best in the series which had a lot of humor that everyone can enjoy. This film was lacking that fun energy and humor which makes this sequel a forgettable ride.

Rebel Moon Part 2 The Scargiver is an awesome epic space opera that plays as a climatic conclusion to the two part saga. After the last film which had a slow pacing set up and a bit of a letdown. This sequel steps up the action and pacing. The story continues were the first one left off. Kora and her group spending the first hour of the film setting up a defense for there farming village and training the villagers. Also the film spends some exposition on some of these characters on why they are motivated in defending them. The second has the bad guys coming down to the village and a epic battle happens which was well worth the payoff for the two films. The action sequences are exciting and big. The visual effects are good. The cast ensemble is great with some characters having a moment to shine. The plot does set up for a third film with more world building on were it can go. Zack Snyder has improved with this sequel with top notch action and story building.

Abigail is an awesome vampire horror film that messes with the genre twist concept by having the story start out like a kidnapping ransom thriller turning into a vampire horror film.

From the directors that did Scream 5 and 6 films which threw in a few jabs with the vampire genre and has plenty of a bloody fun time doing it.

The plot follows several strangers who kidnap a young ballerina girl and hold her up in a estrange mansion until they get millions of dollars. Only discover that girl is a vampire and everyone is hunted one by one.

The film is fun. It has humor. The several characters all have a strange connection that one tries to profile each other why they were chosen for the ransom kidnapping. It has a great cast ensemble lead by Melissa Barrera. The girl that played Abigail was also great. The action sequences are entertaining and gory.

It is one bloody fun time for a horror mansion survival of a vampire film.

The Marsh Kings Daughter is a fair psychological thriller film that has a good story. The script and direction is dull with a plain direction and flat characters.

The acting was okay with its cast ensemble. Daisy Ridley did her best with what was given. The characters were thinly written. It does have some thrills with Daisy trying to protect her family. And searching for her father which leads to a thrilling climax in the forest. The film lacks itself from being memorable or any different. It could have been better with a stronger script and sharp direction. Overall it was an okay film.

Civil War is a fair dystopian film about a war happening in the U. S. as the states have broken into there own factions. A war journalist and photographers are travelling across the country to interview the president. Literally, all there is to the story which does leave for a bland direction. The script left the characters being dumb. During a combat firefight one photographer stands right in the middle of it. Characters are not the brightest in the film. The cast ensemble was okay. The action sequences were also okay. Most of the film has the characters driving through the countryside with occasionally car wrecks, abandoned buildings, and a shady group at a gas station. The climax has a brief action battle that is entertaining. The story does lack substance which leaves you feeling absolutely nothing with what the story is about.

Road House is a good action film that follows a ex ufc fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) who goes to Florida Key West to become a bouncer at a road house. Only to find a lot of trouble being lead up there. With the bad guy having his own agenda for the place. And recruiting a sociopathic maniac (Conor McGregor).

The film is fast moving. Fun and action packed with some brutal fight sequences. Also a great cast ensemble lead by Jake Gyllenhaal. Conor McGregor was also over the top. Also a bit funny. It is a film with Dalton being attacked by every gang. Corrupt cops. And a billionaire tyrant.

The films ending did struggle with making Dalton still feeling unresolved from his tragic past from his ufc fight that lead him to feeling lost. The script did not progress the character at all in the end.

Overall, it is an entertaining action packed film that holds no punches.

Ricky Stanicky is a bad comedy film about three friends who made up a friend Ricky so they can use as an excuse. The script and direction by Peter Farrelly leaves this comedy film tedious. The humor is boring. The story is formuliac and dull. The cast ensemble saved the film. Zac Enfron and John Cena try to save the film.

The humor lacks the laughs. Leaves you eye rolling or bored. The story is predictable. The first half of the movie is about John Cena giving lots of masturbation jokes that just was not funny. Peter Farrellys direction is failing with making comedy films or feeling outdated.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is an awesome monster film that delivers a great sequel to the monsterverse. Having Kong and Godzilla team up to battle against Skar King a giant ape who is bent on escaping the Hollow Earth to take over. While Kong will need all the help he can get.

Plot is great. The action sequences are exciting and a wild ride. The visual effects are great. Adam Wingard direction of giving it a special colorful lighting does a great job. And the music score is also very promising. The cast ensemble is great too. The human characters are more on the side lines while the monsters take majority of the screen time with a destructive battle. The villain was great. There is also a surprise with the team up as kong and godzilla fight against the bad guy and another titan appearance is fun too.

This film is just awesome in every level that is worth seeing on the biggest screen.

Little Wing is a pretty bad coming of age drama film about a teen who is struggling with the idea of her parents getting a divorce. Her mom wants to sell there home. And she comes across a guy who introduces her to pigeon racing. Yes. She falls for pigeon racing. While going through new changes in her life.

Plot was heartfelt. The direction does leave a lot of undeveloped supporting characters that gets forgotten in the end. The acting is terrible and flat with the cast ensemble. The main actress performance feels like she is literally reading straight off the script with no characterization.

It is a drama film that is forgotten.
