I think the way Kouko is like this over the top kind of girl which makes me think of Reece Witherspoons character in Legally Blonde. I'm not trying to compare the two but both do have a similarity a bit!
I like the way this animes story goes as well as its characters. Like Banri didn't give a darn crap of what background Kouko has, he still loved her for who she is. You do have to feel sorry for him through as he did lost a lot of memory and the fact he just isn't aware of where he originally came from. I'm surprised thst the parents weren't involved in this! I'm glad he found love since he's been through enough and in the ending, I really thought he forgot about Kouko when his memory finally came back to him but I'm glad it was the other way round and the two of them lived happily ever after!
