The music is perfect for the setting and the way the movie is set up reminds me of a play in a theatre, it's great and over the top. Gambon plays his abusive husband role perfectly, quite frankly he doesn't shut up until the very end of the film. I watched this because Ari Aster said he took inspiration for Hereditary from it and I can totally see the connections! Mostly the way they both balance horror and drama, at times even down to some of the shots being very similar.
