So...so glad the Bob, Bob Newhart stammer fest is...is...is d-done. Never been a fan of his schtick, found it disingenuous and boring. Other than him it's business as usual at the county ER: Pratt's still over acting, Chen still can't act, Abby still pouts and Romano is still runnin' the show with his 'boiling over anger management gone wrong' attitude, which is the only interesting thing that happens. This show desperately needs to get back to basic storylines with white bread characters so we can focus on the story of hospitals and patients, not the ethnicity of the characters and the implied social issues du jour that we're evidently supposed to care about.

Susan, Luca and new nurse Sam Taggart (Dead to Me's Judy) are the only characters of interest recently, though Sam's son is a bit overwritten, which is the norm for these writers lately. I barely watch a scene without them in it. Watched an episode of season 1 earlier today and wow - it is a completely different show. Sadly, that's not a good thing.
