• That's what the audience always said. I thought it sounded dumb and made me dread what the Bronx really was about.

106 and Park was a show that displayed usually degrading music videos and guested studio gangsters, rappers and hoodrats. They featured top 10 rap and RNB songs/videos, live performances and Friday's featured freestyle battles. Freestyle Fridays were the best part where it would feature wannabe rappers from around the USA. The best was the white guy. He killed it, and he wasn't from tha Bronx.

From a youth perspective, this show was fine. I could not see the mould while I was listening and watching degrading music videos and musicians. Though I know I came out fine. However, from a wise perspective, this show was junk and just thinking about it makes me want to shiver in disgust. Many youths that watched this did not come out fine at all. 106AP was a hash show with nothing productive, give exception to "that's my thaang" commercials.

There were times when the show promoted wrapping it up, It's my Thaang ads or Vote or Die segments (with Sean Combs). Well... those didn't help anyone, apparently. The wise me views 106AP as toxic filth. It was featured on BET aka Viacom, so let that sink in.

No doubt there were some positive songs on here, but most of it was hash. The best Hosts were AJ and Free. After they left, the show went downhill and they were out of tha Bronx.

106AP was the main draw to BET channel. After Aj and Free left, BET has never been relevant.

I forgot BET was even a channel. Is it still on cable? I have no idea.
