• I give the series credit for being original, but I simply don't understand why the writers couldn't have kept Shakespeare's original storyline where Rosaline dumped Romeo weeks before the Capulet ball. Now those who are ignorant of Shakespeare will stupidly believe this series is true to the original and they will then pass their ignorance onto the likewise ignorant.

Is this series better because Romeo left Rosaline for Juliet? Nope.

I mean, don't fix what isn't broken, I guess? It was a dumb move on the writers' parts.

I'm going to keep watching the series because, aside from the writers departing from the aforementioned original plot line, it is actually quite well-written and the casting is amazing.
