• Warning: Spoilers
I adored everything about this film.and I literally both laughed (often) and cried (twice). Immediately wanted to see again, and was sad to read its limited run release is months away (viewed at Chicago International Film Festival in 10/2022). Think the critics who haven't agreed have just seen too many commercial movies to recognize a true quiet gem.

PS Olivia Colman actually glows, and while she probably wouldn't win, I hope she receives an Oscar nomination. Toby Jones for supporting actor too. Michael Ward was exceptional. And Colin Firth did a good bad guy-quite contemptible.
