I was so looking forward to this movie. And considering it apparently broke the record for streaming on Disney+, it makes it even more disappointing. What we got was a Disney channel original movie level film with a terrible story (teenage witches? Really?) and awful special effects. The writer and director should be ashamed of themselves. It's almost like they didn't care at all about making a quality film and just retconned until their heads popped. Utter failure of a sequel. No reasonable fan of the original would watch this and think "wow. Now that is how you do a sequel!" Anne Fletcher, thank you for ruining a classic Halloween film. You basically sillified Hocus Pocus and made a movie for 6 year olds. Now I hear they're making a 3rd film with the teen witches?!? Good luck with that. Hollywood has lost its mind. What a mess.
