This movie is like the skin that forms over pudding. You know what I'm talking about. Either you love pudding skin or you hate it. I waited and waited for this movie to be OK, but it did not happen. Because this movie is silly and dumb and the musical score made feel a sensation quite like marbles slamming against my skull.

    Then the movie ended.
  • The characters were likable and you got a sense of romance developing here. Would of liked the storyline to include the other characters and what they got up to. Could have made a series out of this easy.

Pitty that the overuse of the same footage of the rock dominated the half the film. hmm... i thought they just did that bit etc.

If youre looking for something like the gritty thrills of "Everest" and "oh my god!" then this isnt it. Darn shame there wasnt enough danger, otherwise this film would have been great. Also hero guy was bit of a wuss and felt like giving him a slap in the end lol. Should have fallen off, had dilema and have her lose a finger or something.

    Anyway, lovely scenery... expansive.

p.s. film producers, make this into a series with the same actors and start again!
  • Warning: Spoilers
Already while watching the film, I wonder what is the point of the film, what does the filmmaker want to convey to us? What is the mission of its realization? We can only guess that here, this goal is probably to show the specific environment of climbers with its "amazing" vibe. Although probably not quite..., something is probably at work, but it's kind of not enough.... The only reasonable conclusion that can come to mind after watching to the end of this picture (I made it) is a warning: "my dear friends, we climb with helmets, otherwise we may find ourselves in trouble like the characters depicted here. But above all, we choose a degree of difficulty of the route lower than our limit". Really, is that what this is all about? It was to this revelation that the story without a story was headed? Or maybe it's about initiation, an instant metamorphosis from gym climber to rock climber..? Hmm... No, I don't think that's realistic, it's too fast to get your body used to challenging and multi-pitch climbing in less than two days, (not to mention the ability to place cams and stoppers in the rock - gym climbers don't need to knowing that). Please stop! I'd rather watch some climbing tutorial on YouTube and then some real love story on Netflix;)
  • Decent enough action climbing movie. Great cinematography and scenery. Technically well done, at least in my opinion. I'm no climber. On the downside the female lead's motivation to try something extreme is a little like watching a horror movie knowing the characters will stick their head into the maw of a monster even though it makes no sense. Movie people being movie people. But, we finished it and pretty much enjoyed it and liked the characters well enough. Not great but decent. And, if you like climbing scenery, etc., it's even better.

First, i am a rock climber. Everything related to climbing in this movie is beyond ridiculous and hilarious. There is so much so say about it that i will just pass because it is impossible to say how insanely irrealistic and awful.

But that is not why i pit a bad rating. No! It is because the entire movie is so bad EVEN if you completely disregard the « climbing » that again one is speechless: the clichés, the bad acting and plot, the relentless continuity errors, the shots that don't match, the real climbers with cheap wigs, and on an on and on. But it was a solid laugh!
  • I'm not a climber, so the accuracy of the technical jargon wasn't a concern to me. I thought the cinematography was excellent and the story suspenseful enough, and didn't think the acting was bad at all. I'd like to see how this was made. There was an obvious continuity error at the end that shouldn't have been missed (a wound on the female lead completely disappears), and some of the climbing segments showed rocks they were supposedly climbing that they obviously weren't, but that wasn't enough for me to consider this a bad film. I didn't particularly like the way it ended, but I've seen worse. I thought it was entertaining overall.
  • Oh man, what a ride. The characters are terribly one dimensional, all over place emotionally and act incomprehensibly. There's so much reused footage it seems like they're doing loops on the wall and anyone who's spent even a bit of time climbing will likely roll their eyes at the writer's attempts to cram as much jargon in as possible, regardless of whether it fits or even makes sense. You know how some films are so bad they're good? Yeah this isn't one of them, it's just bad. Avoid.
  • Look, it's a low-budget movie, we know that. It doesn't have the craziness of a movie like Cliffhanger, or the real world insanity of Free Solo.

But for a low budget movie, let's be fair. It's well done, it maintains tension all the way through, it looks gorgeous, and it's about as realistic as a movie like this really can be. (Sure the female lead has fewer upper body muscles than one would expect, on the other hand she is supposed to be just starting and basically a city girl, too naive to realize how dumb she is being.) I've seen plenty of much more expensive action movies that left me a lot more disappointed.
  • Great scenery, acting and lessons to be learned throughout the movie.

    A lovely romantic-drama. 10/10.
  • Good plot , well acted , climbing realistic enough ! Possibly based on a true story , being a climber myself ! Disasters constantly happen every day. Good Covid lockdown movie .
  • I have seen Amanda Maddox in a couple of Lifetime movies so I figured I would give this one a try. The moment when slimeball Bret tried to kiss Rose (Maddox) in his trailer I began to despise the movie. These types of PG TV movies are often put together hastily without a buildup. The way she fell for him by just seeing him and in the conversations mostly they talked about climbing, but not their own backgrounds, where they're from what they do for a living etc. Is just annoying which often happens in these stupid thrillers.

And as for Bret being an experienced outdoor rock climber and he falls and gets injured and Rose who has no outdoor experience all of a sudden becomes the hero in the movie is just stupid and far-fetched. I am not a rock climber but aren't rock climbers supposed to wear helmets, and not just bandanas?

Seriously the further the movie progressed the more I was rooting for both of them to fall off the cliff. Do not waste your time with this crap!
