The guy doing the VO is so bland and dull. Please change it . I've watched many paranormal shows and myself have investigated and I am a psychic medium and clairvoyant . Sean and Eric are the real deal not the other 3 amigos . Sean has a REAL intuitive gift and a true passion for the paranormal . Eric has true passion for helping spirits as well . When I see the other 3 all I see is $ signs and stars in their eyes . The omg"s and I feel I feel we're over the top from those 3 . kris cane across as having no paranormal experience at all . Matt obviously has little experience but I think could flourish if he accepts Sean's guidance . califf - well him barging in the room demanding Sean leave was so unprofessional and made him look like a fool . Travel Channel is sitting on a gold mine with Sean . They need to use that otherwise the 3 amigos makes the show look scripted

I've seen just one problem, maybe it's me. Matt seems to get too excited seeing a spirit on the SLS camera or hearing their voice. He repeats himself in triples at times. I guess all I'm saying is settle down a bit & stop being a drama king.

I was looking forward to seeing this show due to the fact they were featuring a female cast member (not many shows do).

I have to say I was very disappointed. She is an empathic as a wet mop and her body language suggests she's uncomfortable, acting, and wants the focus all on her. After seeing her in action with her two other cast mates at the beginning of the first episode, I had to keep myself from turning it off.

Then I see all these posts about her being on "YouTube"...so I went there and viewed a few of her videos. Very self absorbed and "look at me" and very unprofessional. Oh my. Between her plugging her merchandise and acting like an airhead, I was turned off again. It looks like she's trying to audition as a ghetto paranormal playboy bunny. Good lord is this what my paranormal community has sunken to?

I don't have the strength right now to even start talking about the other ones...

Maybe third time is the charm for this show... watch this space.....

I give it two stars because the little guy with the leather, beard and tattoos seems genuine as does the "leader"...the look on his face in response to the way the other three are acting like speaks volumes.

I have never seen such a terrible show. Bad acting and they are obviously acting. Fake stories. And there is no such thing as a ghost loop.
  • I love paranormal programmes but this... it's over exaggerated, over enthusiastic, over dramatic and BAD acting at parts. Sean seems genuine, being an investigator of paranormal myself for 10+years I'm impressed with the equipment they use and some of the local information that's about it. Sean should go it alone and save his reputation

I really tried to give this crew a chance to bond and produce a somewhat informative and entertaining show, but the over the top drama and competition of which crew member will make a name for themselves is nauseating at best. At first I thought they had a fresh view on the paranormal, but it has turned into a production of "oh look at me and my issues". Not worth my time anymore.

So here is the thing people. I have personally investigated with two of the people from this T.V show. To call Matt a tech expert is extremely laughable. I had to teach him how to use all of the equipment and that was maybe a year ago. The female has Zero experience as an empath. She barely knows what it's like to do anything that isn't on YouTube. I'm not joking, look her up and you will see her dancing getting high farting and burping all over the place. When they started this show they put job titles into a hat and picked. This is such a joke and gives people who really do this a kick in the chest. Oh, and I forgot to mention the over use of the words "Ghost Loop". Just makes me think the movie mean girls. Just stop trying to make Ghost Loop a thing it's never going to happen.

I'm surprised that The Travel Channel picked this up.

Although "the ghost loop" is a new concept, it does make sense. Sean Austin brings something new to the PARANORMAL, he tries to help the spirits cross over which no other show does. I have watched Sean Austin for a long time and his medium abilities are real. As is his ability to communicate and deal with demon type entities. This is what has been missing all along in the ghost hunting aspect. The show is new and has some rough spots to deal with just like any other in particular the girl and Califf or whatever his name is. They don't enhance the shows quality nor do they have the knack to deal with hostile ghosts. They both bail out before anything really even happens. Meanwhile, Matt whose was being targeted stuck it out. As did Eric and Sean, standing their ground! Bringing in something new in this field is needed amongst the collage of the same ole same ole!

So far I found the show to be decent, The lead guy Sean and Eric are genuine, but the other 3 are way over the top, embellishing and most likely acting, it takes away from the shows core principles and virtually undermines the show.

Need I say more? Never even heard of a ghost loop in 40 years. Keep saying it though maybe it will catch on.
  • I've watched Sean Austin investigate on Twitter & Periscope for a while now. He's really nice to everyone. He's helped a lot of ppl with his abilities, experience, doing q&a periscopes, etc Eric, I thought did great with the reenactment, & knowledge, also. Both professionals, that's obvious. Matt was fun to watch! You could tell he was soaking up everything Sean was trying to teach them about! Great job by those 3!

I don't personally know of the others in the cast, so I recently followed them on social media, but unfollowed quickly. Personal attacks on your team leader, even by your friends/followers, doesn't make you look any better. It just doesn't work like that. It's ridiculous. Especially when he's literally the only 1 with experience, real experience! He's been on another tv show, too! it's his passion, & calling imo!

I don't understand how Caleb & Christine, mainly, can work with a professional like Sean, & not try to learn from him. Blows my mind as a paranormal fan.

Tonight's episode was even better than the premiere! Great job guys!

I really enjoyed the show. I felt the only issue was the split dynamic between the big dude and the lead investigator. I felt the big dudes behavior was over the top and extremely inappropriate for a professional. I loved how they triggered the loop. That gun against the neck part was pretty kool. There was a few moments I felt there was exaggeration happening with the group of 3 but over all I thought the whole concept was great.

They say the words 'ghost loop' so much that it almost feels like they're trying to convince themselves that it's a real thing.

Look - I love ghost hunting shows but this whole show just feels odd. The people act and respond in weird ways, their conversations all feel unnatural, and interviews feel scripted.

    It's the cringey-est show I've seen in a while.
  • In the paranormal business all you have is your reputation. Especially when doing a television show. So one would think these shows that are supposed to be "legitimate" (and I use the term loosely, very loosely) in the field of paranormal investigation the investigators and/or at least the producers would do a little more actual investigation. For instance do they realize that the clients on episode 3 also had appeared on the dead files a few years earlier with a similar but vastly different story? On the dead files their family business that was ran on the property was in danger of going under, she had problems in her bedroom and so on and so forth. Maybe you all should watch it, it was really good. However, it made you guys look incredibly and woefully amateurish in the fact that your empath and medium didn't pick up on any of that? Nor did your guy that does the research? Sorry but your reputation just took a direct hit with this one and someone better do some damage control.
  • I binge watched all of the first season. I'm not sure I agree with the term ghost loop, because that implies something happening over and over again at the same time every day, yet the evidence they show seem to imply that the ghosts are actually intelligent as they get responses on command.

If it were reworked, it would have been better. For example, none of the stuff that happens is ever debunked. Electricity and wires can interfere with readings and we would be none the wiser. There is also zero background given on the investigators. Why does Kris have the title of empath, for example? What are Sean's psychic abilities? What experience does the tech guy have?

I do like Sean the most and like the idea of trigger environments, but it isnt enough to save the show.
  • Its honestly so bad I made a account just to give it a bad review! I miss shows like taps

I've watched a lot of tv in my life and this show is possibly one of the worst things I've ever seen. We are officially out of ideas.
  • aparker-280082 January 2020
This show is really good and some of the evidence Sean and Eric come up with is amazing. I didn't like how some of the other people in the show didn't show evidence to their findings and you just had to trust that it was happening. I've went on a small paranormal investigation with Sean in the past and he is truely great at it. I wish the show good luck
  • Not sure what is up with all of these fake reviews, but this is perhaps the worst show on Travel channel. The cast is not believable and are clearly being spoon fed their lines. Need I say more..

While I am no longer a fan of paranormal television shows due to the sad fact that so have shown fake experiences for the sake of ratings, it was refreshingly good to see my friend, Sean Austin, doing what he loves on a new show. I am very proud of him and all he has accomplished. I wish him and his team much success with this show and in the future. I also hope the network doesn't force them to fake anything for the sake of ratings!

    Huh?
This is basically what happens when you take a bunch of adult kids, give them some equipment, and let them go on a "cool ghost hunt". At first the show had some comedic value, and then it became just downright annoying. Who are these people? And more importantly - why do they have a show? They seem to freak out like high school kids when they get a response! The lines of questioning are antagonising, and then - they do some sort of 'cleansing' ceremony at the end...what is this??? You will most certainly lose a few IQ points after watching this one!

Sean and the investigation team were awesome, didn't like that guy said he was going to punch Sean in the mouth. But overall I love the show and think it was great. I will Recommend it to all of my family and friends I hope there's a season 2 keep up the great work.#Ghostloop
  • There's so many bad ghost hunting shows, but at first I thought oh no here we go again. But,as it went on the show and the investigators became more professional and to be honest I enjoyed it.

After four seconds I figured out that everyone is acting; they're not real people or investigators.

    They're really just awful actors.

So obviously fake, stupid stories and a "ghost loop" is news to me. An intelligent haunting through a residual method? It's So lame, it's offensive.

No redeeming qualities. How and why did this show get made?!
