One day, Alice is a bit shaken when she falls off her scooter. Frank suggests that the best thing to do is to get straight back on her scooter again, but Alice is frightened and decides that she'll walk from now on.

When Archie tries to help Alice rescue her kite, he gets stuck in a tree, and needs rescuing by the Koala Brothers. Whenever Archie tries to help, things seem to go wrong. Archie decides that, as heroes always seem to help people successfully, maybe he should be a hero. Outback Archie is born!

The Koala Brothers have decided to have a birthday party at the homestead for George the postman.

One day, George is shocked to discover that there's no post to deliver. George is perplexed - what should he do on a day off?

Everyone is practising their acts for the outback talent show, to be held at the Koala Brothers' homestead. Frank and Buster discover that Josie would really like to be able to perform in the show, but she's too frightened of dancing in public.

Mitzi, Alice and Archie are down at the water hole when they hear a heavenly sound: the tinkling tune from an ice-cream van approaching. It's Lolly, the ice-cream vendor. Everyone is very excited. As Lolly goes to serve out the ice cream, she realises that something's wrong - the ice cream is melting!

After seeing Frank in charge of a project at the homestead, Mitzi decides that she wants to be in charge of something. She organises a "Big Adventure", and ropes in Archie and Ned to come on her expedition.
