- Raju lives a poor lifestyle in rural India along with his parents. Raju's parents, while trying to protect Akila, are also killed. Then one day Akila goes missing and both Raju and his wife, temporarily setting aside their differences, begin a frantic search little knowing that she has wandered on to the territory of the lion.

With Devi Maa Santoshi's help, Heera locates Kaushalya, who has been discharged from prison due to good behavior, but passes away. Will the Jagirdar accept a dead body as proof of Heera's parentage?
- Kamla lives a poor lifestyle in a small town in Uttar Pradesh, India, along with her widowed dad, Dinanath, who works as an Accountant with Sarpanch Journal, and two younger brothers, college-going Kumar, and school-going 12 year old brother, Kishore. Dinanath's main aim is to get Kamla married to her lover, wealthy Prem, and ensure that Kumar and Kishore get a proper college education. When Dinanath's eyesight becomes very weak, he starts making errors, and loses his job. He does manage to persuade his employer, Laxmidas, to hire Kumar once he gets his degree in Arts. On the day of the results, Kumar has an accident and passes away, a devastated Dinanath bangs his head, injures himself, is hospitalized, recovers but loses his vision completely. As a result, Kamla's wedding is canceled, Prem reluctantly gets married to Shyama; while Kamla gets a job and starts to look after her dad and Kishore. Years pass by, Kishore has grown up, graduates, gets a job, gets married to Tara, the niece of Kashiram, Prem's Munshi. The family settles down to a fairly harmonious relationship which is shattered when Kishore and Tara accuse Kamla of stealing household items, resulting in Kamla and her dad moving out of the house. Kamla and her dad live a near-destitute life, and Kamla gets a job to look after an ailing Shyama, while Prem is away. Watch what happens when Shyama finds out that she has hired her husband's ex-lover, and the very woman she suspects is still having an affair with him.

The female serpent, Naag Devi, swears to avenge the death of her mate and starts on a virtually unstoppable killing spree.
- Sharda lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her widower dad, Thakur Ranvir Singh, in Bombay, India. She incurs her dad's displeasure when she gets elopes and gets married to Jaichand Prakash, who is poor. She gets pregnant and Jaichand passes away, leaving her to give birth to Kanhaiyaa. When he gets to be 9 years of age, an ailing Sharda too passes away, compelling Kanhaiyaa to live in the Bal Kalyan Anarthalay, run by a cruel Manager, Makhanlal, and his equally cruel wife, Radha. When Kanhaiyaa is abused, beaten, and starved, he escapes, ends up in Bombay, straight into the clutches of Madhav Singh and Rahim, who house several male orphans and train them to be petty thieves. Kanhaiyaa does not want to steal but is compelled to join the gang. One day he gets beaten-up, but ends up being looked after by none other then his estranged grandfather, who comes to know of his identity, and is thrilled to have him back. But Kanhaiyaa's problems are far from over for he is abducted by Madhav's gang, and taken back to their hideout. When Madhav finds out that there is a reward of ten thousand Rupees being offered by Ranvir, he decides to return Kanhaiyaa. A much relieved Kanhaiyaa looks forward to being re-united with his grandfather little knowing that Ranvir's nephew, Pratap, has other plans for him.

Mangala continues to live in this household, and soon becomes pregnant. Mukund and Anand decide to travel for business purposes but promise to return before the baby is due. A few months later, they return and are told that Mangala has committed suicide after giving birth to a snake!!!
- Widowed Kunti lives a poor lifestyle in rural India along with two sons, Bhiku, and Sarju, who are married to Bhagyawanti and Dayawanti respectively. Bhiku has a daughter named Kamli while Dayawanti is expecting. Bhiku's first wife had killed herself by setting her afire. One night Kunti gets instructions from Devi Maa Sheetla to dig up a plot of land belonging to Zamindar Rana where an idol is buried, and after doing so, construct a temple. The next morning Kunti asks her sons to carry out this task and they go to the Zamindar to ask his permission, but he refuses leading to Bhiku backing away, but Sarju eventually digging the ground at night, finding the idol much to the chagrin of Zamindar who blacklists Sarju, Kunti and Dayavanti. Arguments ensue at home forcing the trio to re-locate and live with Teja Singh. Sarju then decides to leave and find donors in order to construct a temple. Zamindar and his Munim, Ram Bharose, steal the idol and drop it in a well. A visibly pregnant Dayawanti is forced to work as a servant for Bhagyawanti, while Sarju faces many challenges in his quest for donations, but accumulate some, only to have it stolen but later recovered by a bandit named Sardar Phoolan. Sarju returns home, a baby boy is born to him, and a temple is constructed. An enraged Zamindar has the temple blown to bits by an explosive little knowing that this will enrage Sheetla Mata who will turn her wrath on the entire region.
