The Utopian Fairhope is a documentary about the quaint town of Fairhope, Alabama. The film is narrated by Gary Scovil, who was new to Fairhope at the time. Upon deciding to create a documentary of this beautiful town, its art, history, and people, he met life-long Fairhopian Andrea Holloway to help him set foot into Fairhope. Some of the featured interviews include Donnie Barrett of the Fairhope Museum of History, artist and historian Dean Mosher, author of "Forrest Gump" Winston Groom, Congressman Jo Bonner, and more.

An unprecedented time in world history, this film is the chilling and unforgettable story, not from the perspective of historians, but of six brave eye-witnesses from the horror of Auschwitz, an ordinary soldier who liberated Dachau, a young woman who helped the thousands of wounded soldiers and those living under the jack boot of Nazi totalitarianism. Two Springhill Avenue Temple Youth Group Students Victoria Hirsch and Cory Garfunkel interview these individuals to hear their personal experiences during the tragic time of Hitler's reign.
