On Friday night (April 11th), Benson Boone performed a cover of Queen’s iconic track “Bohemian Rhapsody” at Coachella alongside the band’s guitarist Brian May. Though Boone was jumping with joy over the Queen guitarist (he actually hopped over his head at the song’s end), the crowd wasn’t as enthralled, and the 22-year-old took to TikTok to express his dismay at the crowd’s lack of enthusiasm.

In the TikTok, Boone lip-synced “Bohemian Rhapsody” into a banana, with the overlayed caption: “Me trying to get the crowd at Coachella to understand what an absolute legend Brian May is and the cultural impact he has on music and The World.” While singing, he points the fruit to an imaginary crowd feigning disbelief at a lack of reaction.
