  • As a newer Veronica Mars fan(no hate please) I was absolutely thrilled when it came to the release of this movie, and though I wouldn't say it's my favorite movie, it is definitely a worthy successor to a beautiful TV show of our time. All of the cast returns(except for the actress who plays Carrie Bishop, who was unable to return due to scheduling conflicts). The movie manages to tie together the end of the TV show and the events that happened within the past six years of Veronica's life smoothly(if you're a fan, and want more of Veronica, I'd recommend picking up 'The Thousand Dollar Tan-Line' it's a dark tale, and beautifully written, and describes, in detail, more events in Veronica's life.). The cast was able to snap right back into their old roles effortlessly, and all of the magnificent chemistry that was the core of the show is still there, and stronger than ever. The plot was perfect, though it became a bit obvious halfway through, it was still strong and prominent. Though I know a sequel is a bit far fetched, I am hoping for something, something that will keep this series running. If you're a new fan, or an old fan, this movie is perfect, and will, hopefully, not let you down.

So, here we are, many years later after this movie was first hinted not long after Scary Movie 4. I was younger then, so when I saw the fanmade posters featuring Silent Hill, Snakes on a Plane, etc. I thought it was real, but of course, a few years later, I came to my senses. When I first saw this movie was coming out, I wasn't all that excited for it. Which surprised me, I love the franchise, but when I saw Anna wouldn't be returning due to pregnancy, I was disappointed, but I understood why. Now, after just seeing this, I was VERY disappointed.

My first complaint, IT WAS ONLY AN HOUR AND 25 MINUTES LONG, LIKE SERIOUSLY. I don't know why it had such a short run time, but I'm sure if they had maybe another half hour, they could have spoofed more movies, perhaps had done more with Sinister, as well as the Evil Dead, perhaps even spoofs on Final Destination, and many more.

My second complaint, this movie wasn't all that funny. Okay, maybe there were a few parts, like the opening act with Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, that was pretty funny, and the Jodi and Kendra sex scene had my crying from laughing so hard. But the MaMa spoof wasn't all that funny, nor was the Rise of The Planet of the Apes spoof. The inception one was good, as well as the Fifty Shades of Grey Parody, but everything else just fell flat. I didn't understand what purpose Simon Rex had in this movie, other than just being there, it's easy to say that his previous role in the franchise as George, was more funny.

My third complaint, I honestly think this movie should have been made to secure a rated R rating, I feel as if it had, the movie would have been much more funny.

All in all, I think Ashley Tisdale would have done much better, if she was given more to work with, and if the movie was in fact rated R. But in the end, the character Jodi and Kendra stole the movie, which, was obviously meant to happen, and I'm glad it did.

    My rating: 4/10

((States that is may 'contain spoilers' for safety reasons.))

Recently, I have just gotten into the Silent Hill games, I was determined to play it for years now, but, I never got around to it, just because, I truly never understood what it was about, and even though I have a love for all things horror, I didn't want to get myself into something I didn't enjoy. So eventually, I purchased the original Silent Hill off of Playstation Network, and devoured it in two days, I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I jumped, it was an amazing game. Three months later, Easter was coming, and I asked for Silent Hill 2 and 3, upon realizing the HD collection was cheaper, my grandmother purchased that instead. Though, I wasn't pleased, I didn't fuss over it, because it was still Silent Hill, regardless of new voice overs. After completing Silent Hill 3 to six stars, I have to say, I like this game more than the first, and the second. The story was as immersive and appealing as I hoped it was, and I was pleased to find out that it was a direct(not so direct?), sequel to the first game. Like the second and first, I too, devoured this game in almost one sitting. It features everything I loved from the first game, as well as little easter eggs to the second. Heather, to me, is one of the most appealing Silent Hill protagonists so far, just because she has one of the most appealing back stories, I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't played, but trust me, if you enjoyed the others, you'll enjoy this one. Buy this game, play it, and love it, just like I did, treat it with kindness and respect, and it will do the same to you.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Like the title states, the story of this movie falls flat, and becomes laughable about halfway through the hour and thirty minutes run time, yup, that's right, and hour and thirty minutes, you'd think that after the first movie was around two hours and thirty minutes, this one would be long enough to finish off some story lines, it doesn't, in fact, it just opens more, some of which are obvious, and some of which are opened unknowingly. EX: Heather and Vincent incest, yup, that's a story line I want to see.

The movie takes place about six or seven years after the first. As I said above, the first half hour of this movie is fantastic, even though the motives of some people are known the second you see them(I'm talking about you Vincent!). The movie itself takes major plot points from Silent Hill 3, as in Sharon and Chris Da Silva on the run after he kills a man from the order, who are looking for Sharon. But some things they used just don't make sense, as they didn't dwell into them in the first movie. So, you're basically left guessing at some points on what is going on. And at the end of the movie, it's open for a sequel, or perhaps, even a prequel, which I don't think will happen, because I am 99.9% sure I read that this movie was a box office flop. Which, I can see why. Don't get me wrong though, the effects, they were amazing, but in all, that's all this movie has going for it. If you want to watch a cool movie, with cool new effects, this is the movie for you, if you want a story line that plays off of the games PERFECTLY as the first movie did, this isn't it for you. If you want a cool Silent Hill experience out of the games, read the books, fan fiction, or even watch the first movie. Besides the effects, the other good thing about the movie is Adelaide Clemens, who plays a perfect Heather Mason, the cameo appearance of Radha Mitchell as Rose Da Silva, and the music by Yamaoka.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I don't know if my review will contain big spoilers or not, but to be safe, that is why this review is marked 'spoiler'. Now, let's get on to the review.

I now hold this game in my hands, after a four year wait. Tomb Raider they call it, but what exactly is the purpose of naming it after the VERY first game?

Well, I'll tell you. This game, is a reboot of the franchise, upon heading into this game, it's kind of mandatory that you go in with a clear head, expect the expected, and the unexpected. Don't let the word 'reboot' fool you though, this Lara, is every bit of the Lara I grew up with, and even more so than she ever was.

So, we start fresh on a vessel called the 'Endurance' which is home to Lara, her friends, and crew members, as they head out to find the 'Dragons Triangle' a semi-quasi counterpart to the 'Bermuda Triangle'. It's Lara's idea to head east, directly into the triangle, and this is where, the game starts. A massive storm hits the ship, causing it to snap in two, sending Lara and her friends in different directions. Lara awakes on the beach, her friends Reyes, Jonah, Alex, and Dr. Whitman arms length away. It's here you think, 'oh her friends will find her, and she will be okay' nope, Lara gets knocked out, and a few seconds later, a cutscene plays, of someone getting drug into an upside down position. It's here, Lara comes too, and you find out, it's Lara hung upside down. After setting herself on fire, landing on a spike, finding a dead friend, and escaping caverns, the game truly starts, and you begin to feel more and more, with every step she takes.

    Pros:

Relics, collectibles, challenges, and documents, are all things you can find, collect, and do throughout the island's many structures and lands. And even better, you don't need to kick over any pots to find them!

12-15 hour gameplay means a pretty lengthy game, and it could take you up to 20-25 hours just to find everything. Though finding things aren't that hard, especially when you come across treasure maps, there is some scouting involved.

Survival Instinct is a clever feature, that acts like an aid throughout the game, if you get stuck, that is. They also introduced a way point system, which can be used to set a beacon of light onto collectible locations, which will help you find said collectible.

Beautifully rendered gameplay, and graphics, I found myself just stopping here and there to enjoy them. Action sequences aren't forced upon you, but they are there, and happen frequently, traversal has returned as well, as is more human like than ever. Lara can no longer stay positioned on vertical poles, and will instantly swing off of them when jumped too. Traversal has been lowered down to seem more realistic, and Lara now wields a climbing ax, to reach higher up locations.

Lara is beautiful, and more realistic than ever, from breast size, to attire, she feels like a person now, more than ever. You will feel for Lara more than ever now. Lara will also talk to herself from time to time, which I thought was a beautifully added feature, it makes her more human.

A Mature rating fits more than what I thought it would. Grizzly deaths have returned, meaning that there is no longer refberiating off of cliffs when you die, when you die in this game, Lara stays in one place, or ends up in pieces, depending on the death. I have experienced multiple deaths in my playthrough, such as a pole through the neck, getting crushed by boulders, and more.

Lara is more human, which means she will act human to wounds, gunshots, and more. If you fall off a high cliff, but one that is not high enough to die, Lara will bounce on impact, and flail in the air in till she hits something else, this can take loads of damage, so be careful. Lara will now slip down waterfalls, wet landscapes, and more. She will moan with pain, and sometimes fall over if you take a nasty fall, etc.

A wide range of weapons are included in the game, such as a bow and arrow, a pistol, assault rifle, a shotgun, and a grenade launcher, as well as a surprise weapon at the end of the game. All weapons, excluding the weapon at the end, have ammo limits, which makes them more realistic.

Lara's friends, and fellow crew members, are experiencing pain, anger, and all the other emotions Lara is feeling, which makes you feel for them, as much as her.

A touch of sadness in the game makes it more realistic.

Easter eggs littered throughout the game, hint at a sequel.

I encountered not one glitch throughout my playthrough.

Fast travel in base camps, allow you to return to previous areas.

Puzzles, boss fights, and tombs return, and are FANTASTIC.

    Cons:

Gameplay is still short, but I am happy it's as long as it is.

The multiplayer is plain aggravating, I cannot do anything within the multiplayer without dying almost instantly. The single campaign is what you are after.

Trophy support is back, but sadly, to get the platinum trophy, you must complete things in multiplayer, which suck.

Swimming wasn't included, it's sad to see it wasn't, but the game does do fine without it.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This is a review on Grey's Anatomy's Season 8 finally, called Flight, but I can't understand what flight they are talking about, whether or not it was the flight that crashed, or the flight of Lexie to the next plane of existence?

This episode is truly offal, it is by far the worst Grey's episode I have ever seen, and this episode has by far the worst acting I have seen in awhile, the crying and emotional scenes seem forced, except for when Lexie dies, and the horrible acting isn't even the worst part, there are so many clichés and goofs throughout this whole episode, I wanted to scream. So let's take a trip down a very emotional and rocky road to what is the latest finally for this season in 'Grey's'.

Meredith, Christina, Lexie, Derek, Mark, and Arizona take a flight to go operate on a case of conjoined twins, I think, and the plane they are on malfunctions, ripping half the side of the plane off, and sending passengers flying everywhere, some of the most notable ones are Derek and Lexie, but we will get back to them shortly. Christina is the first to awaken from the plane crash, and is screaming for Meredith, who awakens with injuries and of course automatically starts looking for Derek, because recently that's all she seems to be doing half of the time.

Whilst looking for Derek, Meredith remembers Lexie, who they eventually find with parts of the plane on her, and bleeding from the mouth, they then ask her about her injuries, and she says that she is pretty sure her pelvis is shattered, and that she can't feel her left arm, so she is pretty sure it's gone. Meredith continues to look for Derek, while Mark stays with Lexie, I have to hand it too Eric Dane & Chyler Leigh, they had a very touching scene, and a very emotional one with that, and Mark is basically the only one left with Lexie when she dies.

That is basically the jist of the story, Derek survives with only a broken hand, which he gave himself, Arizona has a broken leg, Meredith has a deep cut on her leg, Christina has a popped out shoulder, and Mark almost died. The captain of the plane must have broken his spine, because he can no longer feel anything below the waist.

That is basically what happens, so no, this episode does not top the shooter, and it doesn't really top any episode so far. The only reason I watched this episode was to see if Lexie survived which she didn't, and that disappointed me. The only reason why I could see anyone watching this would to see Lexie's fate, and it's a tear jerker.

This episode was fairly terrible, and if your a Grey's fan, it's a must to watch, and if you are a Lexie fan, you might be disappointed.

I was six years old when this film came out, and I can still remember my mom and my grandmother watching this film together, while I was told to go sit in my bedroom, or the other room. But of course, being the kid that I was, I would sneak peeks at the movie here and there, which me doing so would scar me unknowingly for life. As a kid you love television, I grew up with Spongebob and Winnie the Pooh, so being exposed to something like The Ring was something I had never experienced before, and growing up I always had my grandmother and mom telling me about Poltergeist, in which the Carolanne was sucked into the television, so you could only imagine how it was for me to watch a girl climb out of the television! I had nightmares for months, and every time I would close my eyes I would see Samara climbing out of the television, coming to get me. Every time the move was on television, I would stray away from it, I would eventually go on to watch the second one first, to which I had no problem watching, it wasn't in till I saw the first one on DVD at my grandma's friends house when I was around eleven, but even then, I ran out of the room as halfway threw the first scene, when the two teens are at home. I would have gone on for for four more years in till I watched it finally, and even then I was on the edge of my seat, with the blanket by me almost the whole time. It has been many months since I watched almost all of it on HBO, but I made it to the end where Samara goes after Naomi Watt's boyfriend in the movie, and that's where the channel was changed. I have still not seen the whole movie from start to finish, but I have been looking for it on cable everyone in awhile. This is a truly scary movie, and a great one at that, so that is why I gave it ten out of ten stars without seeing the full product first. I wouldn't let small children watch this movie though, it could give them recurring nightmares like I experienced. But I recommend this move to any horror fan, and anyone wanting to get a good thrill on a Friday night.

As being born in 1996 along with Lara Croft, I always thought I and her had a special bond over the years as we developed in life together. I lived my life, while I tried to keep her alive while she navigated through dangerous tombs and traps. Of course I didn't play the game actually in till maybe 2001, and never got past the first level of the first game, I still had fun with it. I loved Lara for who she was over the years, and recently, before the new game comes out, I purchased games 1-6 again, my original copies having broken over the years from carelessness. As I bet my way through 1-5, I stopped as I held this game in my hands. Having never gotten through the first level, nor remembering the story, I sort of pushed it away for awhile, going off to beat Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld again. After those were beaten for the probably millionth time, I held Angel of Darkness in my hands again, and decided to give it a try.

Needless to say, I was instantly hooked, the story had such a rich plot, great graphics, weapons, and locations, I ignored the constant rants about glitches, bugs, etc. Because when you're playing a game, and you're really into it, you ignore the bugs and glitches, as I did.

The story takes place a few years after the events of Egypt in Tomb Raider Chronicles, where Lara was rescued by her old mentor Werner Von Croy. Even though he saved her life, Lara never forgave him. Over the years, Von Croy made many attempts to reach out to Lara, to which she ignored. Eventually Lara gave in, and met with Croy in Paris at his apartment. There Croy tells Lara he believes he is being stalked, and with the recent attacks from the Monstrum, a killing machine that has been killing people off through out Paris, it has put Croy on edge. Lara ignores his pleads for help, and asks him why she should help him when he left her in Egypt to die(Much like she did to him in her teens years while hunting for the Iris, but I won't get into that now). Things happen quickly, and a shot is fired, and Croy ends up dead on the floor, his blood on Lara's hands. This is where things begin to heat up, Lara is framed for Croy's murder, and she sets out on the run to complete Croys last wish, to hunt down five obscura paintings, thought to be linked to Alchemy and the Dark Arts.

So lets now get into the Pros & Cons shall we?

Pros: Much, much, much harder game than the two previous, after a few years of not adventuring, it has left Lara weak, to which she is now donned with a grip bar, which makes the game harder. Outfits return as well, which are beautiful. I have encountered two so far, and that would be her jean jacket with matching jeans casual outfit, and then camouflage(which was one of my favorites in Anniversary). There are many weapons that Lara will get her hands on in the game, which some have really blown my mind. Though some abilities, like sprint, aren't available to Lara in till later in the game, when you get them, you will be so excited you did. Puzzles are a lot trickier, and I have set off many alarms as I've been playing. Rich Plot, with a few clichés that can be ignored if you wish to ignore them. Beautiful Lara for next generation consoles. Areas are smoother than any previous game before, and are a lot harder.

Cons: Grip Bar. Though it does make the game a lot harder, it can be a really pain through out the game. Especially fans who are used to Lara being able to hold onto things forever. No Croft Manor which is okay I guess, but I would have liked to see Lara on the run to the manor, and then get ambushed while shes there. Glitches, and bugs. Though I have only encountered only a few, the main problem with me is the lag, which makes me sometimes want to scream.

Overall this is a great game! I only game is 7 stars because of the lag, and the few glitches and bugs I encountered. But be careful, if you don't know what your doing, this game could really suck for you. The game is very hard to navigate through, if you don't know where your going, so I normally stick with a strategy website, or videos on Youtube. Stella's is a great Tomb Raider Walkthrough site, if your stuck, consult there.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This game is fantastic. It is a remake of the original Playstation One classic Tomb Raider. And they didn't do a half bad remaking it either. So you're not confused, this game would take place many years before Tomb Raider Legend, for anyone who is new to the series. I was even confused, thinking it was a sequel to Legend at first.

Lara is beautiful in this game, more so than Legend. She looks more human like than ever, and moves more flawlessly than Legend as well. The game basically follows the plot of the original, with some minor changes in lines to make it feel more twenty first century. The game is a lot less blocky than the original, and areas are beautifully put together. The game follows the same plot as the original, with Lara being hired by Jacqueline Natla to find a piece of the Scion, an artifact known to hold information regarding many things that had happened on Earth. But there is a catch in the remake, instead of Lara trying to get the Scion for herself and away from Natla like in the original, in the remake, the Scion was also one of the things Richard Croft, Lara's father, sought after for many years.

The Scion is broken down to three pieces, strewn across Peru, Greece, and Egypt, in which Lara takes many interesting adventures to find all three pieces.

Pros: Lara is beautiful. Game is a lot harder and longer than the original and Legend. Levels are broken up into a few parts, like the original. Many artifacts to collect in each level. As well as Relics to collect in every few levels. Outfits make a return, which are taken from a few old games. Camouflage, which is a redone outfit of the one Lara wears in Angel of Darkness, this is one of my favorite outfits in both games. Wet suit which is redone from Tomb Raider 2's ship levels. Legend, which of course is taken from Legend, and it looks even better on this Lara. And a few others such as Gold, which is what happens when Lara stands on Midas's hand in the Mida's Palace level, Classic, which is a Playstation One Lara in a PS2 game which I thought was pretty cool, and Croft Manor Sport, which is taken and redone from the first, and second games in the series. Time Trials make a return too, which are harder than ever. The Magnums, now 50. caliber pistols, Shotgun, and Uzis, now smgs, make a return as well, and are hidden in levels like the original, but you can now get them from completing Peru from Larson, Greece from Pierre, and the SMGS from The Kid in the first Atlantis level. Bosses from the original return as well, like the T-Rex, Centaurs which both you must kill now, the Torso boss, and Natla. Larson is the only human Lara kills through out the whole game, Piere, The Kid(The Skateboarder from the original), and Kold Kin Kade, who is really creepy in this game I must say.

Cons: Levels are really hard, and can make you frustrated and angry. Sadly with everything else that returned, glitches do also, I have experienced some, but there not too bad. Weird camera angles that can make you frustrated and scream at the screen. Interactive cut scenes also make a return, which can be difficult as well if you're not paying attention. Rage attacks make a return in this game as well, which are hard to do, because you basically have to use it when you kill almost every creature in the game, as well as bosses.

I strongly suggest this game to any Tomb Raider fan, and who want a PS2 revision of a classic game that first came out in 1996!
  • Warning: Spoilers
Beautiful, Extravagant, are just some words that come to mind when I think of this game.

Some people think that this game is a start over from the previous six games in this series, but there wrong. Though there aren't many mentions of previous game events, some things do take a mentioning, and come back. Like Zip for instance, the boy who navigated Lara through the last levels in Chronicles. There are a few other ones but I don't want to spoil them for you, so you'll have to find them out for yourself.

The game starts off with a flashback of Lara in as a young girl in a plane with her mother, a character who was rarely mentioned before, on the plane Lara talks about Yetis(obvious foreshadowing of Underworld), to which her mother replies that she things there rather fierce, but Lara states that they only look fierce, and that they probably don't like being so cold all the time, and that she wouldn't like it very much either. Lara's mother than responds with that she never has to be cold if she doesn't want to be. It seems like out of no where the plane malfunctions, one of the wings catches fire, and the whole plane crashes into the Himalayas. Directly after the first cut scene, we are thrown into another one with grown up Lara, climbing up the side of a mountain, clearly armed with new moves, and a voice. Here is the first level. As the story unravels, we learn just what happened to Lara's mother. In a temple in the Himalayas, Lara stumbles upon a sword stuck into a stone dais, as Lara reaches out to touch the sword, lights indicate something happened, and a large misty portal opens.

Lara's mother comes to tell Lara to back off, and it seems like Lara's mother Lady Croft begins to have a conversation with seemingly no one(this is explained later on in the game), all of the sudden Lady Croft scream "Oh no!" and pulls out the sword, disappearing from sight.

This is just the basic first part of the plot in the game, and more is unraveled later throughout the game.

So lets now step into the pros and cons!

Pros: Lara is simply beautiful in this game, from her face to everything, you can tell them obviously worked hard on her, and she looks exactly like the model betraying her this time around. No mention of AOD at all, which is good, this game is a large step up from Angel of Darkness, which I am happy about. Cool new moves come into play, as well as weapons. As well as some old moves make a revisit as well. Lara can now dodge attacks by a press of a button which is could, your no longer scrambling over your controller trying to hit square and left or right. Great plot, you can really tell they work on this for quite some time. Lara's manor has been made a come back, and it's nothing like the old one. Though this may be good or bad, there are some new areas to explore, and it's based off the manor from the movies. Levels are beautifully put together, and moves are done flawlessly. Even after the game is finished, you will find yourself playing it to find everything, one gold, bronze, and silver reward is put into each level, in which you need to find to unlock outfits and unlock extra content. Time Trials come into play, and you do them to unlock outfits, and too unlock extra content.

Cons: Short levels, but there done beautifully so its not that bad.

I can't really think of anymore cons, this game is fantastic, and I recommend it to any Tomb Raider fan, or someone wanting to step into the world of tomb raider without wanting to play the Playstation 1 games.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I purchased this game on my iPhone when it dropped down on sale to 99 cents. Never being a fan of bird's eye view games, I didn't know what to expect, but being that the new game doesn't come out till the end of the year in 2012, I needed my dose of Lara Croft till then, and boy, am I glad I made this purchase. The game is simply amazing, better than Underworld by far, and that is a lot coming from a simple iPhone game. The game starts off with Lara reading about the Mirror of Smoke, and from there, she takes a hike through the mountains and eventually finds it. Who would have guessed that an ancient evil was imprisoned in the mirror? The game starts right off with action and adventure that the games have lacked for awhile. I have nothing wrong with Tomb Raider Legend, in fact it's one of my favorites, but that game lacked adventure the most, and also Underworld. Many traps from previous games return, such as boulder traps, fall away plat forms, spike walls, and much more. If you are having withdrawal from Lara Croft, this would be a perfect game to keep you busy while you await the reboot game in December. Also, I am sure this game would be much better graphic wise on the PS3 or XBOX 360, but the iPhone game is just as good, I assure you.

Pros: Moves are perfect, Lara is a lot less blocky, and moves without as many bugs as in Underworld. A lot more weapons come into play, and there are shrines littered through out the game that will refill your ammo while you stand next to them. Bosses return, and are harder than ever, there is a brief fight against a T-Rex(big surprise, and it took me all most a half hour to beat him. A lot less med-packs are in this game, which makes the game a lot harder . Enemies are way harder than previous games, and if you don't hit the right button at the right time, you could find yourself flocked around and already killed within a matter of seconds. Very few bugs or glitches are in this game, and those that are in the game don't effect game play or kill you like in Underworld.

Cons: Bird's Eye View is okay, but if I ever got the PS3 version, I would like if it could be over the shoulders like the other games. Enemies being uber-hard is okay, but as I said, they can kill you quickly, so watch out. No outfits sadly, but the one Lara wears is mixed between her classic outfit, and the jungle shorts outfit in Underworld. Light blue tight shirt(redone from the classic outfit with the tang-top)Light brown shorts, and dark brown boots. No Zip, which is okay, but I think it would have been really cool if they could feature him somewhere, even if he was talking to Lara over a head set or something.

This game is amazing, and I am sure any Tomb Raider fan would enjoy it. Sadly, the game is up above 2 or 3 dollars now on the iPhone, but it still beats paying over ten dollars for the PS3.
  • Warning: Spoilers
As my summary title states, I was not pleased with this game. Many times I while playing I would simply think, was this really needed? Or, why did they include that? Don't get me wrong, this game is virtually stunning, and the game play is nice, but some things just ticked me off. To say the least, I finished this game in a day, I received it for Christmas the year it came out, I got it with my PS3, and I stayed up all night playing it. I got to Jan Mayan Island in four hours, collecting almost half of the treasures in each level. I was born in 1996, so I have been around as long as Lara has, and I must say, the new Lara in this game is more uglier than the one in the original Tomb Raider. The look of Lara Croft in Underworld seemed like it would fit better in a different game, in a whole other franchise. The face, eyes, mouth, and upper body are just all wrong. It looks like someone tried to throw Lara off a cliff and resemble her themselves. I would have much rather liked it if they stuck to the original design and just revamped it a little, much like Legend or Anniversary.(Note* If you play Tomb Raider Legend on the PS3 in the trilogy game, you can see many similarities in the old Lara and in that one.)

Pros, Levels and tomb areas are beautiful, I have no complaints. Rage attacks are done a little bit more with a challenge which I like. Thor's Hammer. It blows Excalibur completely out of the water :3

Cons. Lara's new plastic surgery. She looks like a transvestite, or a woman beat with the ugly stick many times. I don't know who they based this Lara off of, because it sure looks nothing like Alison Carroll. Lara seriously looks like a Barbie that you can find at the dollar general.

Game Play is way way too short. Things are to much fast paced, I don't know a person alive who moves that fast, it looks like something out of the twilight universe.

Glitches. The glitches remind me of Angel of Darkness. I can make Lara jump one way, and she will do a twirl spin in the air and fall to her death. Or while ridding her bike, out of no where she will just go 'ahh' or 'oof' and take damage. And this one time, I fell through the Med Sea, like literally, I had to restart my playtation and everything.

Camera. The camera angel is a little funky, especially in the tomb raider trilogy game. I can be looking forward, and all of the sudden the camera will start to bounce, and I will be looking behind Lara.

No Zip or Alister commentary through out the game. I really missed this, this was one of my favorite things about Legend. Because Lara just making little ooos or ahhs while jumping gets boring, and its great to see that some people actually care about Lara's well being.

Alister died. I mean WTF? There was no reason to kill him at all, there seemed to be no reason why this was done, only because. You don't see him at all through the rest of the game, or in Avalon, which i would have loved seeing him as a thrall. I wished they would have had his presence shown at least once through the last level.

Blocky Lara. Lara moves really blocky, her swan dive is all messed up, it looks like a monkey in a human suit jumping awkwardly.

The burned down her manor. Again, there seemed to be no reason behind this, only because Amanda needed her wraith stone. I think they could have accomplished this in a totally different way, with out that whole fiasco. I honestly would have enjoyed a fight between Lara, the Doppleganger, and Amanda in the foyer of Croft Manor or something like that.

No boss fights. None what so ever. Not even a sliver of a hard enemy in this game. I suppose the thralls, but there an easy kill.

A must use of other weapons. I really don't like this, how they make you choose a side weapon. I love the challenge of using only the pistols in the games, makes the game more interesting. I mean, I know you don't have to use the other weapons, but I still wish they could have been a choice.

Natla was as easy as ever. She is suppose to be the big baddie, but you only have conversation with her about three times in the game, four, if you watch the 'Previously on Tomb Raider' video.

179 treasures, that give you nothing except developers content. I would have really loved outfits like in Legend and Anniversary, but sadly you can only use what they give you, and one unlockable outfit you can only use in the first level.

6 relics in 6 levels, that only give you a slight health boost, that you don't need because Lara rarely takes that much damage in this game.

Those are my complaints. I am not saying to not buy this game, it is a really nice game, but be prepared for glitches and bugs, and fast pace, and if your a Tomb Raider gamer with experience, you could find yourself on the third level within an hour or two. Also, if you get the PS3 version of the game, the only thing that may take you longer to do is the trophies, which hey, they don't even take that long.
  • As the summary says, don't listen to the hate reviews or the rating, this movie is hilarious. The humor in the movie is great, and anyone a fan of the hot chick, scary movie series, mean girls, the house bunny, and austin powers will probably enjoy what this movie has to offer. People have been saying that this is one of the worst movies Adam Sandler has ever written and starred in, I STRONGLY disagree. My family and I laughed through out the hole movie, and a picnic seen far into the movie had me and my grandmother in tears from laughing so hard. The movie starts off with Adam Sandlers' character Jack trying to make a great commercial for pepto bismal, and with his twin sister Jill arriving soon, more pressure is added to everything. There are many great scenes in this movie that even thinking back on them I burst out laughing. Even if you aren't a fan of twisted comedy that is not for children, the stars that are in this movie are worth seeing, such as Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, Adam Sandler(of course), Regis Philbin, Drew Carrey, and a brief appearance of David Spade at the end of the movie. All and all, Jack and Jill is completely worth your time if you are into this type of comedy, you may just find yourself laughing so hard you cant breathe!
  • Don't listen to negative reviews, this was a really good movie. This is one of those movies that only some will like, and only those who like this type of movie. Let me start off by saying THIS IS NOT a slasher film, it more plays on your emotions and fear. A few times during the movie I thought to myself that this type of home invasion can happen to almost anyone, it sort of reminded me on The Strangers but these two movies are vastly different in many ways. It isn't a very long movie, but with all the suspense that was featured in the film made it seem like the time ticked by so slowly. I really enjoyed this movie, and if your a fan of a suspense and thrillers this could be a movie for you.
