Chelan Lauren Simmons was born in Vancouver, Canada. One of three children (one older brother and an older sister), she has been a natural performer since the age of 2. Her first movie role was as the title creature's first victim, Laurie Ann Winterbarger, in Stephen King's It (1990). Her most recognizable roles are in Final Destination 3 (2006) as Ashley Freund, and in Carrie (2002) and Monster Island (2004). She has also guest-starred in episodes of Smallville (2001) and Supernatural (2005).

Elizabeth Banks was born Elizabeth Mitchell in Pittsfield, a small city in the Berkshires in western Massachusetts near the New York border, on February 10, 1974. She is the daughter of Anne Marie (Wallace), who worked in a bank, and Mark Phineas Mitchell, a factory worker. Elizabeth describes herself as having been seen as a "goody two-shoes" in her youth who was nominated for the local Harvest Queen.

Banks left home to attend college at the University of Pennsylvania--from which she graduated Magna cum Laude--and went on to attend the Advanced Training Program at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, graduating in 1996. She then moved to New York and worked in the theater, and began getting small roles in films and on television. Seeking more screen work, she moved to Los Angeles and was soon cast in supporting roles. She also had to change her last name, to Banks, in order to avoid confusion with actress Elizabeth Mitchell.

Her breakthrough role was as Betty Brant, the secretary of the cantankerous newspaper tycoon in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002). She followed up this performance with small roles in other movies: Swept Away (2002), Steven Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can (2002), Seabiscuit (2003) and The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005). In 2003 she won the Exciting New Face Award at the Young Hollywood Awards. The winsome, beautiful Banks projected an exceptionally charming screen presence that drew comparisons to Audrey Hepburn, and Hollywood eventually began to take notice, Banks being cast in the lead in such films as Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008) and in Oliver Stone's biopic of George W. Bush, W. (2008), as Laura Bush.

In television, Banks was a recurring guest star on Scrubs (2001) as Dr. Kim Briggs, the love interest of Zach Braff's J.D. In 2010 she was cast as Alec Baldwin's love interest in season four of 30 Rock (2006). Originally scheduled to appear in only four episodes, she was brought back as a recurring character for two more seasons, and earned Emmy nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for two consecutive years. Elizabeth has also appeared in such films as Our Idiot Brother (2011), Man on a Ledge (2012), What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), People Like Us (2012), and Pitch Perfect (2012). She also won the coveted role as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games (2012) and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013).

After an eleven-year courtship, Banks married Max Handelman, a sports writer and producer, in 2003. They have two sons, Felix, who was born in March 2011, and Magnus, born in Nov. 2012, both by gestational surrogacy.

Erin Brown (born October 16, 1979 in Illinois, USA) is an actress, model, and film director. Her "trademark" appearance is her pronounced "naturalness" or lack of affectation, both in acting style and appearance.

She began her career making films for the underground filmmakers Factory 2000, then moved on to making films for ei Independent Cinema. She has since starred in many features for Shock-O-Rama Cinema and has directed her own films. As of 2005, she is still working in film and engaged in filmmaking studies in college.

As an established and extremely talented stunt double and actress, Zoe Bell has made a name for herself through her unparalleled dedication, skills, and focus.

Zoe Bell was born on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, to Tish, a nurse, and Andrew Bell, a doctor. She has a background in gymnastics and martial arts. She began working as a stunt woman when she doubled Lucy Lawless on the cult favorite TV series Xena: Warrior Princess (1995). Bell also appeared as a double in the ABC thriller Alias (2001) and on an episode of Cleopatra 2525 in 2000 as a double for Vicki Pratti. In the action packed-documentary Double Dare (2004), Bell, along with legendary stunt-woman Jeannie Epper, give an insight into the career of women who take falls and punches for a living. Double Dare also gives a glimpse into the struggles of stunt-women to stay thin, employed, and sane in a male-dominated career.

After the cancellation of Xena, Bell's next gig was working with Quentin Tarantino in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), playing the stunt double for Uma Thurman's role, The Bride. Bell was nominated for her work in Kill Bill, Vol. 1 in the categories of Best Stunt by a Stunt Woman and Best Fight for the Taurus World Stunt Awards, both of which she would win the following year for Kill Bill: Vol. 2. Bell also showed off her stunt-woman skills as a double for Sharon Stone in Halle Barry's Catwoman (2004).

Bell was injured in the final days of filming, requiring surgery, but she has since recovered and returned to work. Bell appeared along with legendary stunt woman Jeannie Epper in Amanda Micheli's acclaimed documentary Double Dare (2004), which offers a glimpse at the lives and careers of both women, as well as the friendship they share.

Bell debuted her acting career, with her already famous stunt skills, in the double feature Grindhouse (2007) written by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. She was hand-picked, by Tarentino himself, to star in his segment of the double feature, Death Proof (2007), about four women working in the film industry that are stalked by a murderer in his Death Proof car.

Bell, a native of New Zealand, resides in Los Angeles but hopes to someday own a home in New Zealand.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an actress known for her versatile work in a variety of film and television projects. Possibly most known for her role as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), she has also starred in critically acclaimed independent films such as Smashed (2012), for which she received an Independent Spirit Award nomination, as well as genre fare like Final Destination 3 (2006) and Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof (2007).

Winstead was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina but largely raised in Sandy, Utah, which is where she discovered a love for the performing arts. She grew up training to be a ballerina and attended the Joffrey Ballet School training program at the age of 12. It was also around this time that she began to pursue a career in acting and soon started working steadily in television and film.

Winstead is also a recording artist and performs under the name "Got a Girl" alongside producer Dan the Automotor.

Jess Weixler is an American actress. She played Dawn O'Keefe in the comedy-horror film Teeth and Jordan in the comedy The Big Bad Swim. Weixler graduated in 1999 from Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, where she also attended the Walden Theatre Conservatory Program and was in The River City Players acting group and in the Chamber Singers choral group. Subsequently, Weixler, attended Juilliard where she was a classmate of Jessica Chastain. She was a participant during the first year of Bruce Brubaker's InterArts performance project at Juilliard.

In 2007 she was nominated for a Breakthrough Award at the Gotham Awards, and won the Special Jury Prize in Dramatic category For a juicy and jaw-dropping performance at the Sundance Film Festival, both for her role in Teeth. She also appeared in the TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In January 2009, she was named by New York magazine as the "New Indie Queen" of the year and one of the fourteen "New Yorkers you need to know".

In 2013, she joined the cast of CBS series The Good Wife, playing investigator Robyn Burdine. That same year she appeared in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby as the titular character's sister. The part was written specifically for her.

Weixler next turned her hand to writing, penning the script for Apartment Troubles with her friend, and former roommate Jennifer Prediger. The two co-directed and co-starred in the movie. Apartment Troubles premiered at the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival. It was picked up by Gravitas Ventures and given theatrical and VOD distribution in March 2015.

On June 9, 2015, Variety announced that Jamie Bamber, Kellan Lutz, Jesse Williams, and Jess Weixler had joined the cast of a thriller film titled Money, directed by Martin Rosete and produced by Atit Shah.

Weixler is married to Hamish Brocklebank, an English businessman and co-founder of Flooved.

Scout Taylor-Compton began acting with a featured role in the A.F.I. film A.W.O.L (2006) starring David Morse. Since then, her performances in seven independent films, over fifteen student films, and three music videos formed a firm foundation that led to her leading role in MGM's Sleepover (2004). Joe Nussbaum the director of George Lucas in Love (1999) also directed the teenage adventure film, which also stars Alexa PenaVega and Mika Boorem.

Just prior to Sleepover, Scout completed a role in Jennifer Garner's film 13 Going on 30 (2004). She can also be seen in the Hallmark movie Audrey's Rain (2003), the film 7 Songs (2003) , with Chris Eigeman , and the Power Up Film Chicken Night (2001), in which Scout, displaying another facet of her talent, sings the theme song.

On the small screen, in 2003 Scout landed her first series pilot role in Class Actions (2004) the hour-long legal drama for Lifetime Television also starring Diane Venora, who plays Scout's mother in the series. In 2004 Scout booked a leading role in the new Bravo Series, Hidden Howie: The Private Life of a Public Nuisance (2005), starring Howie Mandel.

Currently she is awaiting the Network's decision on the pick-up of her most recent pilot booking, Disney's "That's So Raven Spin-Off," where she plays the series regular role of Lauren, big sister of Alyson Stoner.

Scout's voice-over credits include a recent looping for Disney's Sky High (2005) starring Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston. Other voice over credits include two films with Academy Award winning actors including The Core (2003), starring Hilary Swank, and I Am Sam (2001), starring Sean Penn, as well as work in the film The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004). Scout was also the narrator for Chicken Night (2001). On stage she has played the title roles in the musicals Annie/Annie Warbucks and the drama Anne Frank.

Recently Scout flew to New Jersey where she filmed a leading role in the feature film titled Tomorrow Is Today (2006). Currently Scout is in the studio, avidly working on her first album, and in August will be shooting a film for with Allan Kayser, who played Bubba on Mama's Family (1983).

She continues her training in acting, dance, and voice with top coaches, currently recording her first rock album. She also participates in charity projects for disabled and disadvantaged children as a Celebrity Youth Member of Kids With a Cause. Her hobbies and interests include writing songs, playing drums, surfing, and hanging out with her friends. As if that were not enough to keep her busy, Scout hopes to soon acquire a monkey, and a Chihuahua.

Anna Paquin is the first millennial to have received an Academy Award nomination for acting, and the first to win.

Born in Van Nuys, California, she has dual citizenship to the United States and Canada. She is married to actor Christian Campbell.

Leslie Andrews was born on 18 August 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for Eastsiders (2012), Actors (2006) and Loving Annabelle (2006).

Katie Cassidy was born Katherine Evelyn Anita Cassidy on November 25, 1986 in Los Angeles, California. Her father, David Cassidy, was a pop star in the 1970s. Her famous relatives include uncles Shaun Cassidy, Patrick Cassidy, and Ryan Cassidy, the sons by her grandfather Jack Cassidy's marriage to Shirley Jones; Katie's grandmother was Evelyn Ward.

AnnaLynne McCord is an American actress, writer, director and former model. Known for playing vixen-type roles. McCord first gained prominence in 2007 as the scheming Eden Lord on the FX television series Nip/Tuck (2003), and as the pampered Loren Wakefield on the MyNetworkTV telenovela American Heiress (2007).

In 2008, she was the second actress to be cast in the CW series 90210 (2008), portraying anti-heroine Naomi Clark. Initially, the part of Clark was conceived as a supporting role. Pollyanna McIntosh grew up in Portugal and Colombia before returning to her birthplace of Scotland, where she first began performing, on stage, at The Edinburgh Festival. Shot in Peru, she speaks Spanish throughout. In Burke and Hare (2010), directed by John Landis, she plays Isla Fisher's bestie with Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Jessica Hynes, Tom Wilkinson and Tim Curry. Her demanding turn as the lead in Lucky McKee's The Woman (2011) made shock waves at Sundance 2011, brought rave reviews and topped the New York Times readers' favorite movies poll. For her performance, she was awarded three Best Actress awards, including Total Film's Frightfest Award and Fright Meter's. As the female lead in the BBC political comedy, Bob Servant Independent (2013), starring Brian Cox, she played the professionally critical "Phillippa Edwards", a very different sort of scary. In festival darling, Love Eternal (2013), she plays the female lead as a suicidal grieving mother. In the raucous Filth (2013), she played opposite James McAvoy and Jamie Bell, in the adaptation of Irvine Welsh's balls-out novel as the lusty Size Queen. Two successful British thrillers that see Pollyanna go from vulnerable to kick ass are The Blood Lands (2014), (known in the USA as The Bloodlands) and Let Us Prey also starring Game of Thrones' Liam Cunningham. In Sundance TV's Hap and Leonard also starring James Purefoy, Michael Kenneth Williams and Christina Hendricks, Pollyanna is nothing but kick ass as the neon-clad psycho killer, Angel. In US indy comedies Prevertere and The Famous Joe Project Pollyanna played it characteristically unsafe once again. Possibly her strangest role yet has been as Bobby in Ding Dong, teaming up once again with Lucky McKee for the 2014 anthology film Tales of Halloween. Pollyanna will next be seen in Blood on Wheels as the vicious biker gang leader Trigga. The film is produced by James Franco.

Lauren Ashley Carter was born on 7 May 1986 in Massillon, Ohio, USA. She is an actress and producer, known for Premium Rush (2012), Imitation Girl (2017) and The Woman (2011).

Sara Paxton was born in Woodland Hills, California. At a young age she began acting in television commercials.

She was cast in her first film at the age of 8 as a child at school and at the party in Liar Liar (1997). Her first major television series role was on the WB's Greetings from Tucson (2002). She filmed Sleepover (2004) in fall 2003 (released July 9, 2004), was in Aquamarine (2006) with Julia Roberts' niece, Emma Roberts. Her movie Return to Halloweentown (2006) opened on October 20, 2006. She has also starred in television shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants (1999) and Malcolm in the Middle (2000). She had a recurring TV role on the WB's Summerland (2004).

Sara Paxton graduated from El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills in 2006 and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beach suburb of Cronulla. As a teenager, she competed at a National Level in swimming, holding 4 State records throughout high school. Sharni began singing, dancing and acting at a young age, becoming the 3rd generation of performers in her family. Her mother was a performer in musical theater, and her grandmother was Australia's youngest ballerina in 1945 to be offered a scholarship in the Borovansky Ballet Company in England. At the age of 12, Sharni enrolled as a student in the Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Sydney, where she trained in all faucets of dance over the next 10 years. At the age of 17 after graduating high school, Sharni was signed to Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the all girl pop group, "Foxfire IV", whose debut single 'Roses' reached the top 50 on Australia's ARIA charts.

Vinson is still best known amongst Australian audiences for her role as 'Cassie Turner' in the long running television series, "Home and Away" after she joined the show permanently in 2004. Her performance earned her a nomination for 'Most Popular New Talent' at the TV Week Logie Awards in 2006. In 2008, Sharni announced she would be leaving the #1 Australian drama series to pursue a career in America, where she was immediately embraced by the entertainment industry. In January 2008, she was chosen by director David Nutter (Smallville, Supernatural), to appear in the $50M LG 'Scarlet' TV series advertisement campaign, shot in Bangkok,Thailand. From there, she booked continuous guest roles on CSI:NY, NCIS, My Boys, Cold Case, and CW pilot 'Austin Golden Hour'. She also secured herself the lead role in the pilot presentation, 'The Depths', produced by Gregory Bonann (creator/producer 'Baywatch').

In March 2009, after an extensive search for a leading lady with amazing dance capability, Vinson booked the coveted lead role of 'Natalie' in Disney's "Step Up 3D"- the third installment of the 'Step Up' dance film franchise. The physically demanding role required a brutal 5 month 'boot camp', which included lengthy days of weight lifting, dance rehearsals, dialect coaching, capoeira classes and parkour training. 'Step Up 3D' was released in August 2010 and has grossed over $180M worldwide. The 'Step Up' series has since become the most successful dance film franchise in the world.

In need of an actress highly accomplished in water skills, Vinson portrayed pro-surfer 'Tara' in 'Blue Crush 2, Wild Coast' - a role which was specifically written in to add Vinson to the film. The film required all of its actors to partake in a vigorous surf camp, where her ocean savvy skills were put on display in the middle of shark infested waters in Durban, South Africa. The film was released in June 2011 by Universal Studios Home Entertainment 10 years after the original 'Blue Crush' premiered in Hawaii.

By the end of 2010, Sharni headed back to her home country where she joined the Australian/Singaporean co-produced shark thriller 'BAIT 3D', written by Russell Mulcahy (Resident Evil- Extinction). The film literally took a bite out of the Chinese box office after it opened #1 in October 2012, grossing over $25M in its first 3 weeks in theaters. But it was Vinson's next role which would finally earn her the industry credibility and recognition she had been seeking.

In March 2011, Sharni had auditioned for the low budget, indie horror film, titled "YOU'RE NEXT", which for months had been unable to cast its lead female actress. It was during her audition that director Adam Wingard (Godzilla v Kong) became convinced he had finally found his lead girl. He asked writer, Simon Barrett to re-create the role of 'Erin' to suit the actresses' native Australian background and the result was history in the making. During the film's premiere screening in 2011 at the Toronto International Film Festival, an immediate bidding war erupted, which eventually saw 'Lionsgate' win the battle to acquire the film. The company then soon merged with Summit Entertainment, creating a back log in their combined list of films, and by the time "YOU'RE NEXT" was finally released in September 2013, it had sat 'on the shelf' for 2 years. However, due to the buzz which had been building throughout the industry and by word of mouth via horror fans across the globe, the film managed to open to overwhelming success. Rolling Stone named 'YOU'RE NEXT' one of the "best horror movies of 2013", and Vinson's role as Erin was praised as the perfect blend of girl-next-door meets tough action survivalist, since earning her the title of America's new 'scream queen'. Vinson's most critically acclaimed role saw her take home 'Best Horror Actress' at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas in 2011 and the film has since become a horror cult classic in the industry worldwide.

In November 2012, Sharni led the way in the remake of an Australian cult classic, 'PATRICK', originally released in 1978. She was asked to play the lead role of 'Nurse Kathy' opposite Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Alien) and Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under, Brothers and Sisters). The film was shot in Melbourne, Australia, and again, earned Sharni critical acclaim for her portrayal of a caring nurse who becomes the subject of her telepathic, murderous coma patient. The Australian Film Critics Association nominated her performance for Best Actress in 2014 at the AFCA Awards alongside Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts.

In June 2014, Sharni was asked to join Jackie Chan in his latest action adventure epic, "Dragon Blade", opposite John Cusack (Being John Malkovich) and Adrien Brody (The Pianist). As one of most costly Chinese films of all time, it released in February 2015 breaking all records at the box office in China. In "Dragon Blade", Sharni plays the Queen of the Roman Empire in the days of early war on the Silk Road.

In October 2014, Sharni teamed up with NYFA film student Shantal Freedman to play small town cop 'Jackie' in her final graduation project at the New York Film Academy. The short film titled "TICKETED" went on to become an official selection for the 2015 Short Film Corner at Cannes International Film Festival, the LA Shorts Fest, and won Best Student Film at the LA Cinema Festival of Hollywood. Vinson also received an honorable mention for Best Principal Actress at the Independent Film Awards 2015.

In May 2015, Adi Shankar (The Grey, Castlevania) approached Sharni about playing the lead female character in his highly anticipated new series titled, 'The Guardians of Justice'. In the half animated, half live-action superhero saga, Sharni portrays the fastest woman on Earth, 'The Speed,' opposite Jane Seymore, Denise Richards, and WWE wrestler Diamond Dallas Page. The original Netflix series premiered at the Cannes Series Festival in October 2021 and was released in March 2022 after 6 years in the making. The groundbreaking action series saw Vinson earn her first credit as co-executive producer.

Constantly taking on physically demanding roles and always up for a challenge, Sharni most recently agreed to participate in the 8th season of Australian SURVIVOR, 'Heroes verses Villains', competing on the Heroes Tribe.The reality series filmed in Samoa in August 2022 and is now streaming on Channel 10 in Australia.

In October of 2015, Harper Collins published Breslin's first book, "This May Sound Crazy". The book is based on her popular Tumblr "Mixtapes & Winter Coats", in which she writes honest, funny and emotional observations on her daily life as a young adult.
