Aardman Animations: Films Ranked Worst-to-Best
Aardman has created some of the most delightful animated films ever, including some of it's most memorable characters. Here is my list of Aardman's feature films ranked from worst to best. To Let you know, I'm only doing their features, which will make this list pretty short, but really I have yet to see a disappointing film from this company yet.

- Not a bad movie, I still liked it, I just don't think this was really as delightful as Aardman's other films had been. Here I kind of knew where it was going to go.AddedNov 22, 2015
- The story is a pretty generic underdog sports comedy but much like other Nick Park films, it makes up for it with likable characters that are easy to route for, charming and inventive humor, and beautiful animation.AddedFeb 23, 2018
- While I still have a number of nitpicks with this movie, Chicken Run is still a charming and colorful film with tons of humor and entertaining villainsAddedNov 22, 2015
- I think this Aardman animated film is kind of underrated.AddedNov 22, 2015
- At first I was kind of mixed on the idea of a Shaun the Sheep Movie, the premise just felt like a typical simple goofy comedy, but I love Aardman and I love the Shaun the Sheep shorts so I gave this a shot. Watching it, I was surprised on how much emotion and laughs they could put into the film without any word of dialogue what-so-ever. The shorts did an excellent job putting charm and laughs into the mix, but this film also puts in warmth and a heartwarming story so well. Overall, not only is it funny, heartwarming, charming, brilliantly animated, but what it can do in a feature film length without any talking whatsoever is unbelievable. This film is a jewel.AddedNov 22, 2015
- It's really hard to not put Wallace and Gromit at the #1 spot this list because to me, these guys are two of the greatest animated duos ever, and I think Nick Park, the director, is one of the greatest animators living today. I guess, maybe this film seemed like it was trying to hard to be a crowd pleasure. For what it is, I still love it, but I guess because Aardman is an independent company and they were working with a bigger studio, they had to make some changes. It's still Wallace and Gromit, but I guess their atmosphere is a little different. Again, I love this movie, but the story doesn't seem really that different from the half-hour shorts, so it doesn't feel as grand, in fact it feels a little sillier than the shorts, but I still highly recommend seeing this film.AddedNov 22, 2015
- Here it is, my favorite is this holiday masterpiece. Arthur Christmas does something entirely different to the whole Santa idea and keeps it up to date. Not only does it have great characters, not only does it have a heart-warming story, not only does it dig into the spirit of christmas with a style thats so-now, but the humor is just so good, and it works so well. These characters are hilarious and the jokes pretty much always hit the mark. I think Arthur Christmas is one of the greatest Christmas films of all time, like up there with A Christmas Carol, or How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, those classics, Arthur Christmas is right up there.AddedNov 22, 2015
