- DirectorDenis VilleneuveStarsTimothée ChalametZendayaRebecca FergusonPaul Atreides unites with the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future. While much of the original 'Dune' cast returns for 'Dune: Part Two,' the biggest buzz has undoubtedly been around Austin Butler, who joins the project as the antagonist, Feyd-Rautha. I’ll admit, I was curious if Butler could pull off the terrifying, sadistic villain, but one look at him in costume quickly changed that. We also get the addition of Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Anya Taylor-Joy in this second installment, making the star power almost as big as the sandworms on screen. Some fans are going so far to call 'Dune: Part Two' one of the greatest science fiction films ever made, and if early reviews are any indication, I’ll be surprised if I don’t feel the same.'
- CreatorWill TracyStarsKate WinsletMatthias SchoenaertsGuillaume GallienneA year in the palace of the chancellor of a modern European authoritarian regime on the verge of collapse.I’m fairly certain that Kate Winslet was born to play the Chancellor of a crumbling European nation—if not just for the accent, then for the expertly tailored wardrobe. "The Regime" comes to us from the executive producers of "Succession," which basically makes it synonymous with “gold.” Could this be the token Sunday night HBO series we’ve been waiting to add back into our calendars? I sure hope so.
- DirectorAdam WingardStarsRebecca HallBrian Tyree HenryDan StevensTwo ancient titans, Godzilla and Kong, clash in an epic battle as humans unravel their intertwined origins and connection to Skull Island's mysteries. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the return of blockbuster monster movies!? 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' marks the return of 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021) director Adam Wingard, delving even deeper into the history of the mighty Titans and the mysteries of Skull Island — with plenty of awesome battle sequences in between. While I wait not-so-patiently for confirmation of a second season of "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," this is at the top of the watchlist.
- CreatorAbe SylviaStarsKristen WiigRicky MartinJosh LucasAn ambitious woman schemes to secure her seat at America's most exclusive table: Palm Beach high society, circa 1969.If "Gossip Girl" and "The White Lotus" had a baby, it would be "Palm Royale." Set in 1969 in Palm Beach, the series follows Kristen Wiig as Maxine, a socialite on a fake-it-till-you-make-it journey into high society, flanked by A-listers like Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and comedy legend Carole Burnett. And, as if I wasn’t excited enough about the sure-to-be whodunit story, "Big Little Lies" costume designer Alix Friedberg is styling the series. I’m sensing an influx of “add to cart” in my future...
- DirectorLuca GuadagninoStarsMike FaistJosh O'ConnorZendayaTashi, a former tennis prodigy turned coach, transformed her husband into a champion. But to overcome a recent losing streak and redeem himself, he'll need to face off against his former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend.Think you’re getting your fill of Zendaya after 'Dune: Part Two' this spring? Think again. Enter 'Challengers,' a film which seems to be about tennis and a love triangle on the surface, but has an intense psychological, grief-ridden underbelly. The project has 'Call Me By Your Name' director Luca Guadagnino at the helm, so if this is anything like that, I am prepared to be wonderfully, emotionally destroyed.
