Dhonima

This film revolves around the sub-urban area of Chennai, where the lead Characters Dhanam, is a housemaid and her husband Kotti, works at a construction site and he constantly travels from one place to another for his work, this couple has a son named Dravid,who studies 3rd grade has a ear-related problem, he is not a deaf but receives sounds/voices from people lately. Kotti’s Mother and father lives with them, where Kotti’s mother is half paralysed. Dhanam works hard to do a surgery for her son,asusual the father figure not greatly supports the family. She is mentally supported by her father-in-law and Morher-in-law, even though they couldn’t help her financially. Koti is semi-alcoholic and a careless man, who just lives for the day to passby. They are living a moderate life and Dhanam brings a small puppy into her house to live along with them, that pup’s name is DHONIMA, where it changes their life up side down and brings a lots of happiness and conflicts.
